Most brands sell clip-in ponytails. Most in there own section under hair pieces rather than wigs or toppers. And most have either combs or claw style large hair clips rather than say the metal extention clips for smaller pieces. 3

Hi there, i hope you guys are doing well and you're staying safe at home as much as possible during this kind of strange time. But i thought i would bring you a more or less normal hair wig video type thing today and today we're going to talk about clip in hair pieces that aren't wigs and they're, not toppers they're, more like clip in ponytails clip and buns clip in hairdo dance. So today we're going to be doing kind of the ponytail hair, doodad version and paula young makes these most of the other brands, make some sort of clip in ponytail extension type thing. So look out there. They range in price anywhere from about 10 up to 40, and if you look around, you can find different, hair, textures and colors and lengths. So today, we're gon na be doing a paul young one and they've actually discontinued this particular one, but they have a very similar one. So i'm not going to show you the number, because that would be confusing, but in general most of them make these little hair. Things like this that have some sort of clip that you attach to your own hair. Now these are more or less volumizers um. More than for hair loss per se, so if you have bald patches and you can't integrate in your own hair, these might not work for you. So i don't wear these on a day-to-day basis, because my hair is too thin. But if you have enough hair to cover your scalp and pull it back into a small, ponytail or bun, then these will work for you. So this is synthetic fiber and this is a color 8, which is kind of a dark brown and it's not heat safe or anything. So you can't curl or straighten this. This is not curly. This is wavy or wispy. I will leave some screenshots and down in the notes down below some of the item numbers that are currently available as of spring 2020, but they tend to change from year to year. A lot so just look in their hair piece section and you can normally find it so right now i have on a cheap, costume wig. This is not my hair, obviously, but we're gon na go with my own bio hair. Just for showing you how to put these on so you're, going to pull your hair back into a small bun, um kind of ponytail thing in the back, so you make a ponytail, and then you tuck it in to make sure that all your hair is contained. Unless your hair matches the exact color and length of this and then a normal ponytail might work, so this has a little clip like this. Some of them have different style, combs or kind of claw clips that you attach to your hair with so you're, going to secure it behind this ponytail. Just like this, and then it's in there it's secure it's not going anywhere and this one. Actually, i like it's pretty cute um, so if i was going to say, put a lot of effort into doing some of my topics or edge full and spraying my hair to make all of my scalp look luscious and full, then this could actually work as a Hairdo for me, so if you have very mild hair loss that might work for you or, if you just want kind of a fun short easy style. This is something to consider. So i'm going to pull up a few of the other hair pieces that i have as well, so paula young also makes longer curlier fluffier um clip-in ponytails um, but it's pretty similar in that it is just a claw clip that attaches the exact same way as The other one i just showed you so and to get it out, you take it exactly the same, just being sure that you're not pulling too much of your own hair out or anything with it, and it comes right out, hello, hello, hello. This is athena. She is a curious kitten, so this one we're going to clip in exactly the same way. These larger ones are heavier, so do look at the weight when you're buying it. If you don't have a lot of hair like i, don't have a lot of hair. This one is a little too heavy for me to be comfortable wearing for any long period of time, without feeling it's going to be pulling too much on my hair. So we've got my little ponytail we're gon na open up the clip, and there you go so with this one. You just need to make sure that it's kind of straight and even on the back of your head, where you want it, but otherwise, if you want a long, luscious ponytail, it's a pretty quick way to get it. And, of course they come in these little boxes and then they have a hair net around them. And if you get curly one, you have to be careful that you don't brush it because you can make it super frizzy and make all the curls kind of fall out. So after you take the hair net off, it could be a little smushed from packaging. Instead of using a brush or comb, what you're going to do is shake it and you kind of fluff it with your fingers. If you want and that just releases the curls so that they're separate curls. However, you want it to be, and this one has the same thing: it's just a hair clip that clips around your ponytail. So this one is pretty lightweight and i could wear this if i wanted to um i'm not really into super curly poofy hair, but a lot of people have naturally curly hair, and if you want that to look to match your bio hair, then this is an Easy way to do it if you're into kind of cosplay or halloween costumes or kind of drama stage things, then you could also use these hair pieces as kind of a poof or volumizer to make really big, 1950s or victorian kind of pompadours. This would give your hair or clip-in extensions something to lay over, and then you can make very large, hairdos and pretty easily so something to keep in mind. So as always, thank you for watching and don't forget to like comment or subscribe.

Raquel Antunes: They look so beautil on you!! I have thin hair just like yours and I was wondering if these clip in ponytails would fix well on my almost nothing hair. Now I know and I bought it. Thanks for you help!! :))

Chris Heinz: Thanks! Have you ever tried the long ponytail with a topper? Also if you put the long ponytail up higher it might not feel so heavy

Donna Martinez: Nice! The full wig you were wearing at the beginning of the video was a great color on you! Thank you!

L Pruitt: How do you keep the clip from showing at the top? I just received mine and it keeps showing no matter what I try differently.

leslie: Thanks for your video. I just bought a Paula Young Perfect Pouf Pony. It came with a long white cord attached to the hair piece and the comb. What do I do with that?

Marie S: Hi, thanks for the video. I think you should wear the pony tail higher up on your head. The smaller one looks good high or low. I like the wig too. At first I thought it was Shannon by PY.

Cerys-Rhianne Silver: Would you be able to dye the ponytail piece? I have one but its slightly off colour for my hair
