I tried 4-5 times before to fade/remove my hair color and this recipe took it out in 1 shot it was crazy

I literally suffered, shook, and rejoiced -- it came out so good!!! I def recommend using a LOT of olaplex 2 or 3 after, and then a LOT of conditioner, and then a LOT of coconut or olive oil after, and then to dry your hair with cold air so your hair can return as close to it's regular state as possible

Hope you enjoyed- can't believe i'm blonde again w0w.. what color should I do next ????

And yes, a gentleman that made me that high it's now me today, I'm going to try to get back to blonde. Actually I washed my ear twice and it looks like the most will dissipated quite a bit. I feel like my hair, is kind of back to look close to where it was before I put on my world's gold hair color, but I still have like red pigments from Christmas time. I'M going to try to take your recommendations for a non bleach. Haircolor remover mixture, I've already tried a chemical color remover, but I feel scared to use that because I'm not sure how it would change my hair, like it turned blue last time. I'Ve already did like a rinse with that and I'm scared to do more with that. So I'm actually gon na follow some of the DIY recipes that you have recommended in the comments. So thank you to everyone who recommended interesting formulas. A lot of people are saying to try baking, soda mixed with 10 or 20 volume developer and dish. Soap, shampoo or purple shampoo Jelani said that she tried it on dark, pink, /, red hair and it took the color out in two applications. I'M also reading that leaving it on for a longer can help as well, so I'm gon na try to leave it on for an hour. Everyone is recommending the same formula with the baking soda dish so 10 or 20 volume developer and shampoo or purple shampoo. This four ingredient recipe - I guess I'm gon na - try that leave it off for an hour and see how it turns out. I'M scared how much of each do. I put. I'M actually scared to show you what my hair looks like it kind of looks, really light rose gold almost like a pinky peachy golden peach. I guess, let's put in our base shampoo. First, I'm gon na use the no yellow shampoo from finola. It'S a purple shampoo. I don't have ten volume developer, so I'm gon na use 20 volume developer Armand Hammer. The purple shampoo will help counteract the yellow. I don't feel that scared to put a little bit of this palm olive everyone was saying, Dawn, dish. Soap. I think, because it has like a lot of cleansing and stain removing properties. However, I don't have donned dish soap right now, so I'm just gon na put a little bit of this plum olive. Hopefully it all counteract the red. In my hair, I'm scared, but I'm also gon na cut a little bit of this olaplex. So on multiplier number. One it's supposed. Oh, no, I'm scared it's supposed to help like rebonds, broken hair when you're bleaching or coloring hair. Oh my gosh, I'm scared! Okay, let's just mix it! It'S so runny! Then it's like everywhere. Look it's even on my foot before you say anything about my shirt. This is my designated color and shirt. So yes, it's white, but it's like I'm meaning to use it for the purpose of staining things. So it's okay. Somebody said I should section my hair as if I'm dyeing it like apply it as if I'm dyeing it. So that's what I'm doing, but I'm not enjoying it. I know it just feels what and frozen I'm spilling everywhere. I'M sorry! I love you, but this is hard, but I hope this works. Oh feeling, my hair will just be stained blue. What did we get thing? Blue? I know this purple. Shampoo is really strong. It'S a little longer um, I'm actually suffering guys. Oh, I got it on my oh uh, crying pajama pants, the panes of Redmond panes of red just sticks these days you used to resort to these kind of methods. Shun you there's like Isaac, there's like a whole bunch on my pajamas. All of this. I don't even know I'm gon na wipe it. I'M gon na wait an hour. While I do that, I guess I'll clean this up. That'S wrong! It'S been an hour and 15. Oh my gosh! What on earth what I'm actually shocked? Yo! Look at this I'm ready. How is this happening? I know it's crazy baby I'll make it amazing. I'M actually shocked, and the weird thing is my hair is like not even that damaged like yeah looks like noodles, but I always looks like noodles when it's wet you you what I can't believe this right now I I just I like I like wow wow. Can you even like what I might put some more right where this little bit of pink is, I feel like it'll be okay. Let me let me consult my hair consultant, your blonde again. I know I'm born now. You got ta Tony right. This is you get more silver, okay. I need to ask you, though, so, should I do a concoction right where there's leftover pain or should I just no be move on move on, because this looks nice. We like it's like kind of like what are gon na next half half. Are you gon na do brown black Ligambi? What do you want me to do? Let us know, don't be long. Hang here, okay, let's go some old on it and then I can show you what it looks like when it's dry. The consultant has spoken guys. You guys got me, you guys clutch. Okay, I suffer but like it'd be good, if it good good guys, my hair is kind of coming out a bit just a little bit, not as much as it would with bleach. Though y'all got my back. Y'All got my back. I just got ta. Listen to you, you about me, I'm gon na leave it off for like 30 minutes to an hour and then I'll rinse it out dry. My hair and I'll see you then okay, nice, before I show you how my hair looks completely dry. I have to say that I think it's kind of damaged, because it's very gummy it's gum here than it usually is, and it's sticking long to dry. It kind of feels like how it did after it will were processed it. So just watch out, if you do have over processed hair, that you may have to be careful, put some recovery stuff. Do follow-up treatments after this kind of, like I think, the developer it like blasts, open the cuticles and helps get the color out, but yeah. It'S ticking pretty long to dry, it's been 2 hours, but my hair is still not drawing, so I'm just trying to blow-dry it. I feel like it's way too risky to just let my hair dry feel like I'll end up with kinks, so I might as well detangle it braid it look at this loop-d-loop. Do you see that right here you do not want loopy loops in your hair and then wait for it to dry anyways. Now it's got some cute braids on I'm going to go. Take a nap I'll, see you when it's dry time to unleash my hair. My hair is still a little damp. It'S the end of the day, it's doing a lot better than it was before in terms of like gumminess. I didn't want to take my braids up, though, to just show you what it looks like it's quite yellow. Oh it's! So cute haha guys okay suffered, but you know it's snatcher it be. Could it be good it'd be good. I feel like a mermaid this. This is good. This is good. I'M actually really happy. I really like it. I think the purpose chef will help not make it so yellow. I definitely recommend using a hair repair type product after you do this, because I think using the developer. It does blow out your cuticles, even when I was squeezing the water after I rinsed my hair. My hair felt 2 to 3 times thicker in terms of diameter, just because I think there was so much water in my hair and my cuticles were blown out, so it did feel not as dry as the baking soda or vitamin C, but it did feel like Damaged, if you know what I mean, thank you for your suggestions. Thank you always for your help. These last two years of my hair suffering journey be careful. You know don't rip through your hair: don't brush your hair or don't rip through with a comb or brush when your hair is willing to roll in a vulnerable state. If you'd like to see you what happens next to my hair definitely make sure to subscribe and click the dome. I can't give you this is the first time I've blonde, with like black roots and, like so yellow blonde, like usually I'm platinum, like white blonde silvery blonde, but it looks good, looking good girl, then I make sure to click the bottom kitchen sink so that you're Notified right when new videos come out, that's usually the time that we do take to replied your comments, so we will see you then good, bye, Oh

Alicia R: you're the worst influence for my hair LOL, anytime a new hair vid comes out im like k guess i gotta do my hair ‍♀️

bbeetheth: okay but your husband getting as excited as you over how easily it came out was the purest thing ever

Sara Roberts: I have been stuck with pink hair for the past couple of months, thanks Arctic Fox. I could not get this pink our of my hair, no matter what I tried. I didn't want to bleach that part of my hair again. I tried this mix and it removed ALL the color in 20 minutes. It was a very vibrant pink too. There is no damage and my hair still feels great. I'm past shook at this point. I truly can't believe it did the damn thing. I am so happy I came across this.

Bumguk: How about lilac? I think it will look cute!

Cosmo Dawn: Ooh girl. It's so damaged. It's from the developer and having overprocessed hair to begin with. Keep using the olaplex 3x per week. And also use a deep conditioning mask 2x per week. A little tip ( im a licensed cosmetologist btw) when lightening Asian hair it's best to use a high strength developer for a shorter amount of time rather then a lower strength for longer. The biggest issue with lightening Asian hair is overprocesing (which your hair def is) and this can be avoided by leaving it on for less time with a higher developer. People get scared using high developers but they are actually better in some cases. They aren't more damaging they just work faster and Asian hair is thicker ( diameter wise) and more coarse so it can handle higher developers and therefore it does better with them because it means less time it's on the hair. Don't do it anytime soon though. Lol. Your hair will fall out if you put lightner ( bleach) on it again. In fact, if you are going to color it only use a semi permanent color that does not require developer at all and preferably one that is also paraben free and has conditioning oils. One and only Argan oil hair color is a good one to use. It will help it rather than hurt it. Sally's carries it you don't need a license. Btw im Curious how did you get olaplex 1? It's for professional use only...

raven !!: :o your makeup is so pretty, And your hair turned out looking bomb!

Mariah Morgan: Hey sis! Just a little tip, you can dilute any volume developer to get a lower volume by adding water! You might have diluted it with the shampoo/olaplex too. There are specific amounts which you can find online :)

Ayesha Maabreh: I did this and my whole hair ended up being extremely damaged. I couldn’t even brush it out not even once. Went straight to the salon to them telling me I had to cut it short to my ear. I’m telling you my hair was to my but. This might have worked for her but doesn’t mean it will work for you. Just letting everyone know, no hate!! :)

Larissa M.: Your new hair looks great After bleaching or removing color (processes with a basic ph) it's good to use acid products. Vinegar like you said or what I do: mix conditioner, keratin, some oil and half of a lime juice. It helps the hair go back to it's natural ph and retain treatments.

Tovah Romanov: Dawn is the “go to” because it’s gentle enough to use on baby ducks slathered in oil from oil spills and yet it takes the oil off the babies PERFECTLY so it’s STRONG enough for that. A dichotomy with a happy ending for baby ducks is a happy ending for Nami!♥️♥️♥️♥️

AmyCoco Wiley: I tend to only subscribe to channels when they sound entirely unscripted and I gotta give it to ya- I feel like i can genuinely tell that everything you say sounds like it's going directly from your brain without stopping to be followed whatsoever. #newsubscriber

Moxleygirl 1125: I love that your husband is so supportive and gets just as excited as you when the color came out ❤️

koana: mike is such a supportive husband!! hope i'll find someone just like him <3

Louzelia: Ahhh! This totally works! I dyed my hair with pink at the end of September, and dark purple the end of October. I’ve been using the vitamin C method with no luck, used this once and I’m back to blonde! Make sure to have a good hair mask though because she was dry after I washed it out! So happy with the result!

Suz: honestly that purple color looks sooo pretty on you lol

iiamapoptartt: The original creator of this method, @Lola_Kait or Lola Kai, recommended only using 10 volume as you do not need that much Peroxide to get the color out. She also recommends washing your hair twice and leaving purple shampoo in for 10 minutes before rinsing and then a hair conditioning mask in for 10 minutes as well to restore moisture and held with the dryness.

neshreadsbooks: Baking soda is such a universal ingredient for so many things lmao.

ѕilver ѕakura: All hair colours really match you well! You are so pretty I’m actually gonna be doing my hair a Ash Blonde colour for my birthday! I’ve only done Highlights and a Teal colour for my hair, but I’ve never actually fully coloured my hair so I’m really excited!! I find your videos so inspiring and I loved the Jimin hair colour on you so cute! Love from Canada!

IndigoBlue: You look so pretty with and without makeup! Also, I'm loving today's makeup look!

I'm a multifandom mess tbh: 5:57 Ziek’s like “yep. That’s hair. I can confirm.”

Maddy Jenkins: your husband is literally the sweetest!! Every video that he's in helping you with your hair, he is so attentive!

Mitsuki Mimichoe: You look absolutely lovely like this!!! I'd personally keep it like this a tiny bit so you dont over process it and maybe then use some silver shampoo to lift the yellowness in it. But I think how it looks now is really pretty and fresh and reminds me of spring and summer.

Jillian Holt: For the dry / damaged parts you should try cholesterol cream. You can get a huge tub of it on Amazon for like $5. You basically just put in on like a hair mask for like 30 minutes 1-2 times a week at first and then go down to just 1-2 times a month once it feels soft again.

N A Z: I never leave comments I'm like certified antisocial but this worked. I dyed my hair pink a week ago after being blonde for six months straight and literally two days after putting the pink in I was like, okay I've done that. I'm a big fan of vitamin c for dye removal but really didn't feel like crushing up pills and making a big sandy mess and I was out of the liquid stuff. I still have a rose gold tint in the under layers of my hair but I'm blonde again and I'm so happy

Doublekil: Never seen your content before, but I love your energy & how adorable you and your family are <3

Roos: You are such an amazing person! Love you, your videos and your family. Thanks for sharing this with us

Finn: Omggg Namii your hair looks amazing I’m glad you finally got your hair back to blonde , you gorgeous gal ✨

Hyliann_Princ3ss: I’ve been growing my hair out for like a year now. So I have about 6 inches of new growth & then my ends are red. I’m looking to get the red out & this looks like an awesome method to try! My goal is to be all blonde but I gotta get this suborn red out!! Loved the video!! I also had to order some of that purple shampoo it seems to be sooo bomb & I think that is what did the most work in the mixture.

Pavneet Dhaliwal: You are Literally like my favourite hair video person, I’m so glad you have a video for this I’m struggling with the faded red rn and need it gone tonight. Also your son is adorable, that laugh is everything ❤️

Justice8911: Dude I'm a hairstylist and I'm shook! I currently have rose gold hair and am pregnant so I don't wanna use harsh removers so I'm totally going to try!

kaliru1: Btw my hair also felt like super soft while rinsing it out and I new that was not right so after I finished shampooing it out I rinsed my hair in apple cider vinegar and immediately my hair went back to my normal texture, so doing so ph balanced it. I rinsed it with water and conditioned and its like 4 shades lighter, but I did use expired baking soda so ima try it with a new box

Ashley M: "It always looks like noodles when its wet." I love that your husband is so supportive! I'm in the same boat= unwanted pink. But I'm growing out my hair. Idk what to do.

Silvia Borba: arctic fox is trying to create a damage free colour remover. You would love that product once it comes out

Sho N: Hi! I would honestly recommend a deep conditioning treatment and leave it for about 20-30min. It always does wonders for my hair after any drying thingy like bleach or backingsoda...etc.

Chrystal: OMG this is amazing! I'm so excited I'm going to try tonight LOL Been wanting to fade my boring brown ever since watching your videos hahaha! Thank you Namii!!

Tham Tran: It might feel dry because fanola is already quite drying as a toning shampoo and you kept it on for long. If you use a conditioning treatment after, it should be fine :)

hv: aw he seemed so supportive of u "wat u gonna do" lol. also im def trying this, im going thru the same thing rn with my faded pink hair

Madeleine June: Please do purple! When you applied the mixture the colour suited you so much

TG & CHAN: I’m literally doing this process as I watch this video. I’ve tried it before and recorded it on my channel and it’s worked for me before so I’d say it’s a safe method to use but it does dry your haiout because of the baking soda. You can use deep conditioner to get your hair back to normal

Heyou _: I’m so happy it worked out and yasss you look really good!!

Laurel D: I'm trying this right now wish me luck lmao Update: I'm back and my hair was super blue before, not faded, so I didn't expect blonde like Namii's results, but omg my hair is now super faded pale green, I don't have purple shampoo so I used regular shampoo and this works so well still.

Mirabela Ghita: I'm doing this right now, literally thanks for the video, I've been looking for ways to remove this damn blue out if my hair for 2 weeks now. My hair will be ok and the blue will be gone!

Abi: I tried this on my semi permanent black hair and it worked super well! I did it twice and was able to get a nice base for a new color

Anna Luisa: Can confirm that baking soda does a number on your hair, i used it once to lighten my deep purple hair to lavender and it really dried it out but it works pretty well!

PD: Also all the people telling her to do black/brown: it would be a lot of work for her to go back dark since she would have to fill her hair at least twice for it to actually look nice and not wash out and look muddy

C. Stevenson: Hi Nami! I cannot tell you how happy I am that this worked for you!! I had fuschia hair for years, got bored a couple of weeks ago and dyed it BRIGHT RED.... I hate it! I want to try this, do you have a recipe? I don't think I want to take a chance guessing and my hair falls out!! You are so funny and cute, love the videos!! And congrats on finally getting that dye out!!

Caroline Boves: This is the first video i watch that offers a relatively safe method to remove semi-permanent dye that actually WORKS!!!

Satin B: I’m dead ass going to try this. My hairs just been bleached once and I’ve let the color fade about as much as possible, so I think This is a great option. Im shook that this method isn’t well known!!

leticia garcia: I destroyed my hair doing this process. I suggest letting it fade as much as possible using dandruff shampoo and clarifying shampoo. Also if you can go swimming the chlorine in the pool water actually pulls the color out better then bleaching. Be patient with lightening your hair. Best solution is the hair dresser!

Destiny H: Okaaayyy Nami, I just got my hair back to healthy after bleaching and ~dying~ so I'm trying this recipe right now because it's finally relevant to my hair impatience lol Let's see how it works for redd.

strawberrylycan: Happy it worked for you. Tried it today, faded some of the color, lightened my natural roots but i‘m still overall red/orange :/ highly recommend a deep conditioner afterwards. Your results make me consider redoing it

Barbora L. Hájková: I couldn't resist so I tried it. My hair color was pretty similar to yours and I am shocked. My hair is even more blonde than I remember! It just need some toning but still, it did hella good job.

SammiiXxCare: Thank you for showing all the things that happen when your dye your hair... product all over clothes, neck, floor, bench, sink, foot, PHONE!?! The struggle is real, and I feel a lot better that someone else has these issues!

ThatAwkwardVampire: OH. MY. GAWD. The way your roots just blend into the blonde looks SO BEAUTIFUL against your face! Like, I'm dying you're so pretty! (Your personality too because you have such a pretty personality AAHH)

Cieana Gabriella: I believe it feels damaged because of the developer. But it also was hard to dry due to the dish soap stripping the oils from your hair. But, on the plus side it looks amazing!

v k: Removed my indigo hair with one go ! Thanks for the helpful video ! I remixed the recipe a lil and it worked as well 2 oz 5vol sensitive scalp developer 3 oz baking soda 1 tablespoon dish soap 1 oz whole foods shampoo 1.88 ml Olaplex #1 Mix, Apply, & Rinse after 30 mins. Absolutely no color left nor yellow/orange tones A little dry but did Olaplex #3 after rinse out to close my cuticles and it feels much healthier now...

maudehunter: Anything pastel-y would look bomb on you! Like do a pastel rainbow, that would be nice!! Btw, you're sooooooo gorgeous and your makeup is WOW :3

lalaceyvictoria: I used 20 vol developer, baking soda & conditioner mixed together to get mine out yesterday & washed it out with a clarifying shampoo. So happy that it worked

kae marie: NAMI!! we need a tutorial for your makeup in this video because GIRL when I saw your hair through the bag and then you took it off your head I was so shook lol. also the way you were expressing how you were struggling was so funny I’m sorry

Julieeeeet: I just tried this and my hair was just a slight tad lighter than yours but I know the pink was still in there and I’m getting my hair done tomorrow. I didn’t want to have some parts be nice and blonde while the rose goldish part was there. Almost made my hair seem like a light brown. I’m so very pleased to see this in my notifications! Also Im cosmetologist as well so this blew my mind Thanks Nami!!

Megan: Ahhh this is so helpful! Thank you nami! ❤️

Angelica Violette: I’m so happy this worked for you because things are always different on asian hair!! That means it could work on me!!!

Spryte: So I used this method and it worked amazing, however my hair was like straw after and felt so scary! I did a leave in treatment after and my hair feels normal now, Just a warning for other people because i was pretty traumatized at how dry it made my hair! HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE

Lady.Whatever: I love how your husband is SO SUPPORTIVE!!!!!!!

Tinara Nathania: YOUR SKIN IS GLOWING GURLLL <3

Alexis: This is amazing!!! I recently had to cut all of my hair off from a bleaching gone wrong. My hair dresser said she could fix it and make it manageable until it all grew out.. but I decided to just cut it and be done. But I recently tried to dye my hair burgundy and instead, it came out bright purple. I was like oh heeeell no. I started crushing vitamin c tablets and using Head n Shoulders, which faded it significantly.. but there were parts that wouldn't budge! Then I found this! I just did equal parts to the best of my ability, used a 20 vol developer with Moroccan Oil, mixed it up, rubbed it in, and covered with a shower cap! I only had it in for 10 min before my hair was all back to blonde! (Aside from some stubborn pink spots) but all in all, if you do this and you're worried about damage.. I'd say go 10 min and rinse, wait a day and repeat.

Lauren Tuypens: Your hair always grows so fast!!

Raven Fuentes: Just saw this on recommendations and I already tried this 2 days ago, bc I saw a girl do it on snap, I used different measurements bc I thought it was too much on my hair. So I had purple hair, so I put the mixture on my hair and once I was almost done I noticed my hair turning blue so I left it for 30 min, didn't use a shower cap and then washed my hair and once it dried it turned green like a green pastel and turquoise I was shocked bc I was gojng for blue and green. But I was hoping to get blonde again. I think this happened bc of the measurements or bc I noticed my purple hair had some blue tones, but im not sure I'm still learning lol

Julliana Rodriguez: Omg your video helped me so much ☺️☺️ I've been wanting to find a way to remove semi hair colors without damaging too much my hair and I just want to say thank you ☺️ I just did it today and my hair still soft and healthy and no color yay ❤☺️

IncuBee: I just tried this method and got almost instant results. Update: Although it did get the color out of my hair from when I dyed it, it made my hair turn to a yellow-green shade.

jessie: Okay so I watched this video months ago bc I love your videos but I came back since I wanted to get green out of my hair and it worked thanks sm!!! The green was patchy so this really helped me.

Trisha Shuler: i think her " damage" came from leaving the 20 vol in for and hour and 15 minutes. BUT she is right anytime you do ANYTHING to your hair please use a replenishing or repairing conditioner/ mask. your hair will need it.

Aimee2393: Nami, you have saved my hair!!!! I box dyed it brown and all my brown came out of my already bleached blonde hair. I did the exact same mixture except with 10 volume and waited for one hour exact. The results are shocking and it doesn’t smell like color oops.

fullmoonsinner: I used a semi permanent fushia from wella on my hair two days ago and HATED IT and did this today anf the color is 95% gone!! The spots that didnt get stripped all the way faded to a pretty rose gold so I'm not complaining. I used a deep conditioner and plenty of coconut and argan oil as it air dried and it doesnt feel terrible. Thanks for experimenting on your hair for us!!!

Siobhan Fields: The colourb4 hair colour removers are great! They work every time and leave your hair in great condition. I get them in the drug store as I'm in the UK but I'm sure you'd get them online!xxx

Katsic: Remember baking soda has an alkaline base so this will do damage! Definitely not ideal for the curly gals out there. Do this if your hair can take a beating.

Fouch Farmhouse Creations: The color of the remover looks pretty on you!

myphoenixo9: After putting baking soda and rinsing it, you should try putting apple cider vinegar. It will soften the hair like a conditioner. Tried and tested. The only down side is if you don't rinse it well it will smell. Hope it helps :)

Kayla Pears: That purple colour looks beautiful on you!

DrugstoreCowboy: Forgot to mention this works great tho if you’re looking to lighten natural hair and maybe give yourself an ombré or some natural highlights. It didn’t work for my vibrant semi permanent hair but it lightened my roots to a very pretty deep brown and my hair is DARK and STUBBORN so pretty impressed. Good low damage option but highly recommended deep conditioning after and waiting a few days if you’re gonna do another treatment since the baking soda can be drying. (Ps don’t do this overnight baking soda left in is known to snap the hair which = your hair falling out)

Tony Ring-Dowell: Can confirm! I mixed equal parts baking soda and 10 vol developer until it was pudding consistency. Then I added some Olaplex No 1, two squirts of Ever Spring dish soap, and two squirts of purple shampoo. I let it sit for 30 minutes and it removed all of the fuchsia semi-permanent dye and most of the Overtone pastel pink. I think the remaining pastel pink was user error - I was running out of my mixture and didn't apply enough in those spots. Hair was super dry, so I did a light shampoo and deep condition. No extra toning needed - back to platinum blond. Thank you!!

Haniah Hamidah Sahid: Hi! Thanks for sharing this video. I just tried fading my blue hair color yesterday and it turned out successful. Yet, because I didn't have 10/20% developer, I used my 12% developer instead. Just in case there are some other Indonesian friends here, I used : 1. TRESemmé Color Radiance & Repair For Bleached Hair Shampoo, 2. Mama Lime dish soap, 3. Matrix Cream Developer Oxydant 12% 4. baking soda (I didn't know the brand) After finished fading it away, my hair is super dry, it is even worse than bleaching my hair, so don't forget to use conditioner after you rinse it. Good luck for everyone who's going to try!

Opal Hamlin: baking soda does good for getting hair color out, but it throws off your hair’s pH balance, which makes it hard and damages it. and it takes a while to get it back to its normal pH. when i used baking soda, my hair was crunchy for a week before it went back to normal

Mikurotsukami -: I have used a method similar to this for years! I reccomend keep using olaplex and also use a protein then deep conditioning treatments. I was surprised it worked too!

Larissa ptrs: I am soooo glad I met you in person, you are sooooooo nice and your kids are so adorable hoping to meet you again soon

LotteMarie: A dark purple would look awesome with your roots! Also loved when you had orange hair

Hannah Isabel: Nami is so me I’m pregnant right now I used to love doing my hair now I still wanna do it but when it comes down to actually DOING it it’s a full blown workout out of breath and I just get sick of it and her face says it all

Yamina Ullah: I just did this to my hair and it was the best idea. I tried 3 times with different tips and it didn’t work. My hair was dyed with virgin pink artic fox, and after I used these products the dye came off completely to my bleached blond hair

Ai Fallen: Dude. Okay. I'm so going to do this now. I've watched enough vids I think now and this seems like the best idea for me currently. I have faded orange hair right now and I hate it. So I want to strip the color, figure out how to do my roots, and then dye my hair magenta. Here's hoping I won't end up bald or going to a salon to correct it. >.<

Amy DePeder: OMG!!!!!! I'm totally going to try this. I've been trying to get the same color out of my hair and go back to a normal color. This will be my Thursday Night. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Meegan: (BABY BELLY) IM SHOOK! This worked so well, and you look so cute with any color! I’m excited to see what color is next!!

Alondra Pena: I would just use a diluted color that is across the color wheel from the one currently in you hair, you probably countdown have canceled the orange/ red tones out with a light blue dye with conditioner. It wouldn’t have damaged your hair more, I’ve done it plenty of time and it’s worked perfectly!

Namee Park: Next color suGgeStiONs ??????? ps for the recipe, I kinda just eyeballed it as equal portions of all four ingredients ~~ I hope this is helpful! The peroxide could lighten your roots a touch so pls be mindful of product placement! MAKE SURE TO USE A RECOVERY TREATMENT AFTER + A LOT OF CONDITIONER + A LOT OF OIL to bring your hair as close to back to normal as possible!

G: get you someone as supportive as Michael.

Ann Fhd: omg, it works its amazing. my hair was purple pink and before that blue-green so now it's light blue. used hand soap thought it would be better than dish soap and added conditioner little of vitamin c powder. thank you so much

Tracey leigh: Oh wow! I can not belive that worked!! You wouldn't belive how much I spend on colour remover! Looks so good x

Laura Bonengel: I did this to my hair and it worked. Not as well as yours, but it still stripped my hair. I used 2 oz baking soda, 2 oz 20 volume developer (it’s all I had), 2 oz clear shampoo (Maui moisture brand), about a tablespoon of blue dawn dish soap and a splash of Ions knockoff version of olaplex. I dyed my hair twice in October with permanent brown box dye, then in March I used Arctic Fox Transylvania and it took out SOOO much dye. It worked a lot better on my left side, but I think it’s because I saturated that side a lot more and it was on that side for a good 10 mins longer. I left the whole thing in my hair for about 30 mins and then rinsed it in the shower and used a super duper thick repair mask and left that on my hair for a good 20 ish minutes and rinsed with ice cold water. My hair was very healthy to begin with and i don’t feel any damage at all. It’s very dry, but no damage. No spaghetti hair or anything. This has worked better than any color remover I’ve tried and I’m so happy. I just want my natural hair color back I might do it again in a few more weeks to see if I can get anymore out.

claudia di stefano: Okay I just tried this on my purple hair (that color didn't wanna come out ) and now I'm blod agaaaainnnn Its kind of green but I think after I tone it its going to be so platinum you literally saved my life with this

Maia Demars: Baking soda, dish soap, and hydrogen peroxide works REALLLY well I went from a dark vibrant purple to your rose gold colour it was very surprising

Clarissa M: Sometimes when I have faded blue hair with stubborn green tones left, red toning shampoo/conditioner helps remove them as well!
