Hi beauties: this is sam from instant beauty. Today, i'm going to talk about all the tools that you will need if you have extensions, whether they be clip-ins or the permanent kind like fusion, microwing tape or any other kind really. So, first of all, with any type of extensions you're going to need good, combs and clips. So if you're going to be sectioning, your hair, when you put in clip-ins you'll, probably need a good section comb and a good fine-tooth comb to do teasing. If you need to hide them and then you'll always need clips, i'm sure when you're applying them or when you're styling your hair. Another thing you will need is a wide tooth comb, one even probably wider than this, because you will never catch a tangle and pull out an extension and actually wide tooth. Combs are great for hair in general because they will never damage your hair. The reason why you need both tools, the fine tooth comb and the wide tooth comb - is because they serve different purposes. The fine-tooth comb is great for, like i was saying, before, teasing and sectioning your hair, especially if you have the clip and extensions, but it's also great for teasing afterwards, if you have very fine hair and we have a teasing video, also if you're interested wide tooth Comb, i'm just going to reiterate it's a great tool to have for anyone with extensions or without because it is very non-damaging and the bristles are wide enough so that the tangles and anything else may slip through without pulling out the extension or damaging your hair. Next, you will need an extension brush. These are really great, especially if you have fusion extensions or micro ring extensions, because it's a loop brush, so each bristle is looped and they won't get caught on the extension another thing about the extension brush. It is available at most supply stores, but it is essential if you have extensions, so i really do recommend it is the loop brush. Other people may recommend a bristle brush for extensions, but i, in my experience, don't recommend that i find that this is the least damaging brush that you can use. The next tool that is essential is a flat iron or any hot tool, depending on how you want to style your hair. But when you have extensions in, you have to be careful that you don't use a tool with too high of a heat setting. So you always want to make sure you get one that has an adjustable heat setting. This one here is actually by avanti um, and it is one of my favorite straighteners. They have, i believe they have curling irons and curling wands also. So if you ever run into an avanti, straightener definitely pick one up, they are excellent and they do have an adjustable temperature setting so that you can adjust. If you want to do it higher or lower, but with extensions you should always use a lower heat setting. Just so you don't damage them and you can extend the life of the extensions and when choosing a hot tool, you do want to be sure to use one that has a ceramic plate. This way you do not damage the extensions and then after styling, of course, you'll always want to use a really good smoothing gloss, because this will help blend the extensions. So it is definitely a great tool that you should always have and then finally uh before you go to bed, you should always put your hair up. If you have extensions, if they are permanently on, if you're wearing clip-ins, obviously take them off and comb them out and put them away, but if you have the extensions that are on your head, you do need to put your hair up and the best way to Do that is with a non-damaging hair tie, one that doesn't have the silver clip, because that can really pull on the hair and something that is loose. You don't want something very tight to pull the extensions, just something to secure it enough. Okay, guys that's about it! Thank you for watching. You can. Let us know in the comments, if you have favorite hair extension tools and if you're new subscribe and if not give us a like. Thank you so much see you guys later bye. You
