No, I wanted to talk about the aftermath of my tape and hair extensions. What I think, how I took them out, what to expect things like that? Do I regret them. So, basically, if you don't know, I got these ala taping extensions. They were 22 inches and it was a black or black Brown. I don't remember. I'Ve done a whole video on this ala tape in hair extensions, so I will fingers cross link that below so you guys can check out the original video when I first got a minute. So basically I love them. I loved the tape and extensions. I thought they were great there. I really got my money's worth. I wore them for four five, six wait. Eight! I wasn't for about 10 weeks, the longest I've heard anybody going was 12. I honestly got them for length and for value they definitely serve their purpose. I got my money's worth. They were about 150 to put in with tip and everything and I'm the Salah website to find out the price range they're all different prices. I love the tapings better than the fusions and here's why the fusions for me will just you know they were the little tiny keratin bonds and I got the great links and they placed them in so because they were thinner. I feel like they sometimes mesh better with your hair, because you know you're just getting like literally it's like your hair, but they're just putting more of those little tiny ones in they are a lot more expensive. They are a lot more maintenance in my opinion, and they hurt a lot more than the tape ends. For me, some people love the fusions and that's their jam, and I am totally down for whatever you guys, whatever you like. So let me just tell you, when I brushed my hair with the fusions, because they were the little keratin bands I found them getting stuck more. I hurt more to blow dry, my hair, just because the tugging and the pulling the tape ins I got kind of lower in the middle of head and the back of my head and some on the side. So with the tape ins, because I had them in for so long - I had two packs put in. It was a lot of year. It was very thick, it was very heavy. I found myself having to trim it myself. I didn't film it I did and post on my Instagram danielle marie life style, the scissors i use they found it found them on amazon. I'M not gon na go too much into detail. Now, I'm not a professional hair stylist. I'M sure I didn't do it right and I don't recommend it. I recommend you guys going through hair styles and getting them trimmed, but towards the end they just were heavy. I like couldn't nicely put my hands all the way through them. You know it was like uh just because of the product, and these are your extensions. Normally, your extensions will last you a year, but remember you're, not washing them twice a week, you're washing them, probably like once every couple months. Let'S face it, I don't wear my clippings all the time, so I hardly ever washing they were getting just great, so I kind of had to trim them up, especially towards the end. I probably did it two or three times the turning that it did help it did ease up the hair towards the end. I could feel them slipping. I mean they grew out about four or five inches mind you. So in two and a half months, my hair grew about five inches, so you know they kind of weigh down my head a little bit. They were a little uncomfortable, a little tugging and I was like you know what I got a bike. The bullet I got ta take him out. I do not go to a professional hair salon. Take them out, you should I'm not promoting this. I did take the fusions out myself, I have to say taking the fusions out, here's the difference. So I what I do is I basically took coconut oil honey and a little bit of castor oil mix it all together, put it all over my head, really saturated the tapes and then I had help and the tapes were taken off. It was really. It was easy to get the top tape off and then the back the bottom tape. For the back part, you can just slide down the shaft of your hair because it would get tangled in the ends when you got oil, your hair, it's gon na get tangled. It'S gon na get nasty. This is the thing that I found the tapes I one of the shower wash Mihir a few times. I really doused it in coconut oil. My hair still has a lot of gritty texture in it. It was kind of like the glue that was on the tapes kind of spread throughout my hair. I didn't take him out the right way, but it didn't hurt. It took 20 minutes. It was easier than the fusions with the fusions like we thought we took them all out and then, like the next day, I had like 30 still left in there, but with the fusions I didn't notice a lot of aftermath. There was not a lot of gunk left in my hair. This is like up here. It'S fine and everything, it's just the back and the ends kind of are just like. I got ta do an apple, cider government. I have to do an apple, cider, vinegar, rinse. Just to get all that gunk, I don't know how else to call it tape. Glue autumn, I really went through with a fine-tooth comb to try and get it all out. You know mind you, because the tapes we're in for so long. You know the glue is very potent you can buy a remover online they have on. I don't know necessarily if that would have helped to be honest, because the glue just is gon na be stuck on your hair. That'S something that's gon na happen. There was a lot of shedding, but that's to be expected because for two and a half months there really was not a lot at all. Here doesn't feel weird when I shampoo it or anything. I am using a sulfate free shampoo, so it's not that real heavy type of shampoo that's gon na get everything out. It probably should go, buy one that just gets all that stuff out. I would say if you're gon na take them out, take them out when you have nothing to go to like I have a wedding coming up in a week, so I wanted to take them out before that. To give my hair just a break and a rest like I just washed it and for four days straight, did nothing with it, and then I washed it again, two or three times in the shower, and I just kind of blow drying it and just let it Sit and then I'm gon na do an apple, cider, vinegar, rinse and really try and get that all out, so it probably takes about a month give or take for your hair to get back to its normal state. In my opinion, that's just what my experience has been the fusions. I didn't notice. You know a lot of people say when I take all the hair extensions, my hair, it seems like it's just been destroyed, it's lamp is thinner and it sheds so much. I'Ve noticed that a lot more with the tape ins because they were for volume and length. I had a ton of hair. You guys you've seen it. I had a ton of hair with the fusions. It was just for volume, so it was easier maintenance. After I took him out like there was nothing really there's no texture left in my hair, my hair felt as normal as it did before the tapings. I left it a lot longer than the fusions, because I couldn't stand the fusions to be honest and really used. A lot of castor oil, which leaves residue in my hair, usually was going to say about that, though the tapings it's different, like you know, it's a thicker piece of tape, that's sandwiched between your little hair. So there's going to be a lot more texture and I had so many in I mean I hit two boxes, so it's gon na take time. You just got ta be patient with it. You just have to treat your scalp as well as you can um. I would do it again, probably if I was gon na get married or something I think I'd do it maybe add in some um. I don't want that noise. Sorry, maybe add in some colors like some highlights, I don't know um. I can't say that it really ruined my hair or anything like that. I definitely noticed my hair feels shorter. It feels thinner just because it is compared to what I had in so you know I love them, though I loved that length that makes me want to just grow my hair. I think that's it. I don't regret it like. I said I'm not gon na. Do it again right away, maybe in a year like, I said, maybe for a really special occasion, because they are a lot of work. There are a lot of maintenance um, so it is exhausting, and your here is, you know it just takes a lot for it to get back to where it was before. I probably should get it trimmed, but I'm just not gon na. Do that we're just gon na see how it just gon na leave it alone for a little bit. What else can I tell you about that? I think that was that's really it. I did order some under some hair extensions, just a like black Brown type of hair extensions, because I had the foxy locks, the um. What do you call it? The ombre ones, so I wanted just some regular ones. I ordered them from undercover glamour. I had never heard of that website, but a lot of vloggers that I saw when I looked up because foxy locks was out of the color that I needed and, like I said, I have a wedding coming up. So it's like you know. If I want some clip-ins they're, just you know a solid color. Where am I going to go to find those and a lot of people suggested this site and they were actually a lot of reviewers, comparing the foxy locks to the under grab to the undercover glamour? The seamless back select - so I don't know if you guys want to see that or you want me to do a video on that - I'm happy to do one. I think that would be cool I'll, definitely review them. So don't forget to subscribe to my channel. So you can hear about the inner core of glamour, how it relates to the foxy locks, and I will continues my hair journey, how it feels. But I did I absolutely love the tape ins. I would do them again in a second just know as less maintenance as they are when they're in compared to the fusions. When you take them out, it is an adjustment period. I mean I have a lot of gunk in my hair that I got ta get through and it's just gon na take a lot of kick gloves to get it out. If you guys have any suggestions, are some really great shampoos and conditioners for that? Let me know: I'm gon na stop at Alta like next week and I'd love to hear anything that you have just to get that. I don't know if you've ever had tape and extensions or any extension, so you've had any kind of similar situation like this. You guys have a lot of great ideas, so that would be wonderful, alright.
