Hello, everyone bonjour voice, welcome back to the channel, so you guys wanted a hair update on his hair. So, as the title says, he cut them off and wanted to reattach them. So i'm going to show you guys a little bit about how i did that in this video, not a full video thing, but pretty much the basics of how i do a reattachment, a natural, lock reattachment. So these are the tools i'll be using. You guys are familiar with these tools. They are in my etsy shop link in the description if you want to go purchase so i'm also using some single ones, but they're not pictured, so i'm showing you guys what they look like. So i'm using single double and triple to do this first things. First, i'm going to comb out the part of the lock that i'm going to attach, and i'm just showing you guys that these are actual natural locks. When you his two-headed dragons - and i do this because it makes it easier to attach the hair to the new growth hair and as you guys can see, this is, if you have been following his journey, you know that i've never used any like gel or things Like that waxes on his hair and as you can see me combing it out, you don't see any product build up, there's a little bit of lint, which is to be expected, but there's not heavy product build up and the hair is still really clean. I'M gon na get into the attachment. This is what it looks like, and this is about how much i want combed out um to go ahead and start the reattachment. Now, if you notice his hair length, his hair length is shorter, then i recommend you to go. Get it done by someone or you to do it yourself? Well, if you wan na, do it yourself that i guess that's okay, but please do not send this video to me. Don'T use it as a reference to send to me and say: hey! My hair is his length you can attach on my hair. You did it on his hair. No, no! When it comes to services in the shop, i have a standard. Your hair has to be at least three inches for me to reattach or attach anything to your hair. That is the standard and we're gon na stick to it. So pretty much, i'm just starting off by placing his lock, where i combed out the hair to match his natural hair lengthwise, and then i'm going to go ahead and use my triple needle first to start pretty much just packing that hair in just to start forming Things but i'm not tightening anything yet i'm just forming it now. I do have online classes coming up where i go in extreme detail about these, so i will have links very soon where you guys can go pre-register for these classes. I'M gon na have a whole module for each thing. It'S gon na be everything that you guys see me do here on the channel everything that i do in the shop. I will have a very detailed, very, very detailed, step-by-step abc123 video on how to do it. Um, it's kind of hard to do that on youtube, because every video will be like hours long. So online course is the best way for me to do it to give you guys, modules and help you understand exactly what's going on and instead of trying to fit it all in a youtube video. So now i'm starting to tighten as you guys can see. He volunteered to be the tester he volunteered for me to pull it like that, but um so yeah. Now i'm gon na tighten as you can see. It'S still not seamless this. This was just me putting it on and placing it so now i'm going to use the 0.5 triple i was using the i was believe i was using the 7 5, but i'm using the 0.5 triple now and i'm going to go in and tighten everything up. Really nice and tight, and the another thing about doing this on shorter hair - is that you kind of have to get pretty close. But you have to leave enough length to retwist if you're going to retwist, if you're going to interlock, which i suggest, if you're doing this on, really short hair, then it kind of doesn't matter how much you leave, because it makes your interlocking a bit easier. If you don't have a lot of loose hair out but yeah, so that's what i'm doing here, i'm tightening it with the smaller crochet hooks, and this is what it's looking like and i'm gon na keep going, keep tightening it until i literally cannot tighten it anymore And i got some questions on instagram because i've posted the tick tock that you guys see in the beginning. I posted it on my instagram. I got questions about you know. Is this going to come out? Is it going to last? Can you swim with it? How long is it going to last? How does the hair lock up afterward and pretty much? The hair is meshed up with his new hair and his new hair is going to go through the locking process, but the lock itself is just already locked, and someone said well: is the hair dead? Now, technically you guys, if hair once the hair exits your follicle, it is dead. So the intention behind cutting your hair, of course, matters to some people. It doesn't matter to other people, so i think it's important to understand the diversity that exists and when it comes to people who wear who decide to wear their hair in locks, everyone is not on the spiritual journey. Everyone is not, you know, thinking their hair holds energy, everyone, everyone doesn't believe the same things. Everyone doesn't do everything for the same things and i think people lose sight of that. Just because someone is a lock where it doesn't mean they believe everything you do or feel the way you do so i think it's just best to let people do what they want. You know if they want to cut their locks and attach it let them do it um i for one love a good cut and reattach i've done it um teen times to my own self. I just probably never post every single time, because i didn't really want to get into that with people, but yeah i've done that quite a few times and i'm gon na probably keep doing it so yeah. That'S it, and i had a question about - is his hair going to last so his hair. I will probably post for you guys, like his first wash after the reattachment everything like that. He still works and everything everything with it because it's just like it was before just different parts, and now he has a new growth that is attached to. Of course the hair is dead and has been dead for a long time when we place it on our heads.. However, this man chopped off his OWN hair and people are talking about they wouldn't put dead hair on their heads.. People it's his hair!! It came off his head!! alive or dead, nothing is going to come of it because it was his... btw, you did an excellent job of freshening this young man up a bit. Too many of these dread wearers allow their hair to die off long before it's cut. It looks dry, damaged and dirty.. When you were finished this mans hair was shiny and alive and he looked so much better..
