Perfect Locks Hair Extensions Indian Curly Hair Review

Hey you guys welcome back to my channel uh. This is going to be my review of or actually show and tell slash review of my perfect locs hair extensions. Okay, i was contacted by perfect locks, hair extensions to go ahead and do a hair review um. They went ahead and sent me the indian curly, hair. Okay, i got two packs of the indian curly hair in 18 inches and i would have to say first the i know the hair does not look like it's 18 inches, because the way they measure their length is basically when the hair is straightened. So when the hair is straightened, it is 18 inches. I think right now it might have shrunk to maybe like a 14 inch. That'S that's that's what i think it might be like a 14 inch okay. So this is how the hair looks out of the pack. Now the hair looked out of the pack package. It was packaged really really nice um. It came in this little bag right here and it has. You know perfect locks name on the bottom as well, and then it's like a velcro and then the two packs of hair was packaged in these clear bags and within the package it came with their business card, as well as their little booklet and their little booklet. It just basically talks about virgin hair and everything and basically a hair care guy, as well as a routine care and maintenance guide, and then it also came with basically a little a note. You know just saying you know: we're excited to work with you and everything and about the hair review. Okay. So that's basically how the package is um, i'm gon na go ahead and show you a picture of the weft. So that's how the weft looks. This machine was, i think, the the quality of the weft was really really good um. I have like a little bit of hair left over. This is how the hair looks, and this is how the weft looks so overall, what i felt about the packaging as well as the look of the hair and the way the weft looks. I thought it was really really good. You know the packaging was good. The hair straight out of the package was really good, as well as the weft okay, now um, i would have to say the hair was kind of a little bit tingly. I don't know it might have been for the simple fact that you know when they do comes packaged it does fold, they do have it folded, but when i did run my hands through it, it does snag a little bit and it might be just for the Simple fact that it is curly hair and it's coming out of the color of the hair, now the color of the hair, it comes in like a natural black, slash natural bronze brown brown. Okay, you guys natural black natural brown brown. Oh my gosh! I cannot talk. Okay, so hopefully you guys can see it has like a natural black color as well as you can kind of see, like hints, of a natural brown color as well. Now i know the hair looks completely different from what i have. What i did was actually color through hair, i unbreak the hair uh. I used you know basically clear all 30 developers as well as clairol bleach mix, that together lighten the hair and then, after that i went ahead and used a door. I forgot exactly what color. I use, but i do or i will be, having a video about me, i'm bringing my hair, so you guys get to see. You know the products that i use as well as the process of how i went ahead and colored the hair. Now this, like, i said this, is the color that i got after i ombre my hair and i'm hoping that you guys can kind of see it's like a you know. It'S a reddish color like reddish, burgundy, dark burgundy, and i really do like it, and i thought that the hair, as far as like the coloring process, the hair color, like just like that, like really really quick. Okay, so i mean i might have had you know the the color on no more than 15 minutes and then, when i ombred it like actually lightened the hair with the 30 developer, as well as the bleach. I only did like a process of like five to ten minutes and the hair lightened really really quick. So i thought that was a plus okay. Now, let's get on to how i went ahead and installed this hair, this is not a sew-in. This is actually a wig that i made. I didn't show the process of me making the u-part wig, because i mean i do have other videos on that. So, if you want to see like the process, you can definitely check out my onyx essence: black diamond. You part wig or a couple of my other videos, so what i what i did was i just used this dome cap on cap. I use i got it from my local beauty. Supply store, um. It was really you know it fitted very, very well. I just went ahead and sold the tracks. I didn't cut the tracks or anything like that. I just did the fold over method. I went all the way up to the top and i actually measured where, because this is actually a closure. This is my same closure that i use and all my hair extensions from my arjuni hair all the way up until now, this is my closure from silk. Faceclosure.Com i've been using this closure for every single sew-in wig, whatever i would have to say the quality of this uh. The silk based closure is very, very good, like i've had this closure, i think over a year now and as you can see it blends very well with the perfect locs hair um, i did cut it. You know because it was longer. I think i might have purchased it in like a 16 inch and i think i paid between i think 165. I think that's how uh the price range of all closures are it's between 160 and 165 and i think that's the price that i did pay for. It so i did not bleach the knots whatsoever. What i just mainly do is use some foundation that um and then just dab it on there with either my finger a q-tip or a makeup brush. Okay - and i do just fine so what i did basically back to the wig - what i did was like i said i sewed the tracks onto the wig cap and then after i did that my braid pattern is really really simple. What i did was actually parted. My hair down the middle, i braided two braids one braid going across one braid, going across all the way towards the back, and then i just braided the rest of the braids just to meet the middle part. And then i just braided it down the middle and went ahead and applied or installed the the wig on my head and then just sold it down around my perimeter and that's it that's how it is. Okay, let's talk about how i feel about this hair. Now i have some likes as well as dislikes about this hair. Now the things that i like about this hair is the texture. The texture is very, very soft. It'S very nice um. I wouldn't have to complain about it like the the curl. The curl pattern is very, very a very nice curl pattern. I hope, hopefully you guys can see that. So that's the curl pattern very nice. The texture of the hair is really really soft um. I really do i like the length i wish it was a little bit longer because you know when it when you do when the cur the hair does curl up. It does shrink - and you know me - i really really like long hair, so i wish i would have gotten maybe like a 22 inch or a 24 inch that would have been perfect because once this hair dries, this is what i do not like when this hair Dries like it looks okay right now, but it's like when you're moving around and everything and it like dries completely. It does get really big, it shrinks up even more and then it just pops out - and i mean that might be good for other people. But you know, as far as i go like i really like for my curly hair, to have a little bit of weight to it. You know like just to hang a little bit okay, so that's one of the things i do not like about this hair. As far as the shedding, i have not seen really any shedding like too much shading whatsoever might be a couple of strands here and there, but nothing that i would have to complain about. As far as detangling now, everybody knows like with curly hair curly hair tends to tangle more than other hair, but for it being curly hair, it does not really tangle whatsoever. I use like a denim brush and i'll go ahead and just it'll flow right through it. You know and as you can see right now, i'm running my fingers through it and there is really no tangling. It might be like a little bit in the back, but actually you know i'm not even gon na say that, because the hair, my fingers is running right through the hair so and yeah like i said like maybe it's about three strands, three shreds of hair. That came out since i went ahead and ran my fingers through it, but overall i would like to say i do like this hair. Like i said, the only thing i really don't like about this hair so far, because i've only had this hair in for about a couple of days is the fact that when it does get completely dry, it does shrink even more and it does puff out. For so for the ladies that love big hair, this hair is definitely for you. What i am going to do is straighten this hair, i'm going to straighten this hair. I think i really do want to wear this hair straighten and i will post a video of me straightening hair, just to see how it does when it is straightened. You know it doesn't do bone straight. It doesn't have like a little bit of the curl pattern. Left to it now the thing about this hair: i've heard that when you do straighten it and then you do go ahead and co-wash it, it does curl right back up. So i want to see how that does too, and i also will be posting a video on how to do my curly routine in the morning. You know, because what i do is just basically do a spray bottle, fill it with a little bit of water. A little bit of my herbal essence, hello, hydration conditioner, and i also put a little bit of coconut oil inside of the mixture shake it up spray, my hair, and then i also use what else do i use? Oh, i have like this mixed chicks, uh, silk. Serum for curly hair - and i just you know, put it's like a little serum and i put like maybe like a dime size on each side and i'm good to go.
