Good morning and welcome to my hair journey, so I have decided that it is time for me to try extensions I've. Never really. I'Ve had some clipping extensions, but I've never really worn them before and it's never really crossed my mind to have the proper full-on extensions before, but after seeing all my friends and how amazing their hair looks, I decided it's time. So this is my hair right now. That'S my whole head of hair right there, so you can see how fine my hair is, and I just thought for summer. I would really really like to have extensions to be able to do Pat's buns ponytails in my head to look nice, especially when I'm going to holiday and in and out of the sea and stuff. So that's the decision I've come to, so I am going to glow Fulham and I'm getting the hair. We have London, extensions, so buzzing. So these extensions, I know, are amazing. I'Ve tried the clipping ones, so I'm sure the salon quality ones. It'S just going to be amazing, so if you don't know, then here we have. London is a Lauren Pope's range of hair and it's amazing, so I'm very very excited to be getting it done today, and I've already been up to glow Fulham last week and I went to just get my hair colour matched and talked about how long I bought It in how long I want it, so I've decided I'm gon na go like beneath the boob and if it's too long I can always cut it, but I don't want to go to too long and too freaked out, so I've never had more hair before so. I'M sure it might feel a bit weird, it might feel a bit heavier than normal and so yeah. Let'S do it I'm a little bit nervous. I'M not gon na lie just because it's something I've never done before. If you're wondering this is my, I did have balayage in my hair, so I've just put on a semi-permanent - and this is the L'Oreal casting creme gloss in dark chocolate and I'll confirm later what color I'm getting the hair extensions. She did tell me, but now forgotten and yeah now, I'm a bit like for the train, so I'm gon na rush off and heading to London. So I'm in town now, oh my gosh. I didn't get changed because where there is not cutting it, but I've got to Putney bridge, I just had a breakfast and lovely PR friends where T is such a cute little cafe if you ever coming around this area. So next stop okay! So I have long hair. This was so crazy, but honestly I am so so so happy with how it's turned out the color match is perfect and, to be honest, I thought it would feel a lot heavier than it does. I thought I'd feel like it was really weighing down my head, but it's not at all. The only thing is I can. I can feel the bonds like when I run my hands over my hair. I can feel the lumps, but obviously you're going to it's just because I'm not used to that - I'm not used to wearing clip-in extensions. So this is a whole new process for me, but yeah, I I love it. I absolutely love it. So let me give you all the details in case you're thinking about getting these kind of extensions or you just want to know a little bit more about them. So I have got hair rehab, London extensions. These are the item, extensions um and they honestly feel so so soft like it's dreamy, it's so so nice, so I've got it cut down to here. It was only about a few a couple of inches longer than this, so I didn't have a lot taken off. Just because I thought you know what I'm getting extensions I might as well not have long hair, so I wrote down at notes on my phone because I was literally asking and Sinead in glow every question Under the Sun because, as I said, this is also new For me, so I was just like running the questions off to her, so the exactly searches I've got of the eye tips. The color is one v and I had the 18 inch extensions now. Obviously this is cold, so it's a little bit higher up than if it would be straight. So this is how it kind of looks cold when they coat it. For me, in the salon it was so nice it was like mermaid waves, which I think, I'm probably gon na. Do my hair more like that in future. But I just went to someone in me and got a blow dryer and I do really really like it. Like more Hollywood kind of, but I think for me when I'm doing my own hair, I'm probably gon na - be going for the mermaid waves because I'm just more used to going for that kind of life. But, as I said, I went to glow in Fulham. I had to have my consultation, where I just kind of said how long I wanted my hair to be, and they could color match my hair and then a week later, I've been to have them put in. It took about two two and a half hours, which is actually really really quick. I know people that have sat in a chair for like four or five hours, so that was really quick and they've been fitted, so so well, they're all aligned really really well and you can't see any of the buns. So when I'm just like now, it's almost next to me, they would not be able to see my buns and I've already had so many people kind of say how natural they look, and I think, if you didn't know me - and you didn't know what my hair Looked like before, then, I don't think you'd instantly say that my hair was fake, which I love. I think it looks really really natural and I'm just so in love in terms of the process. So I've got there basically just started fitting it straight way. Sectioning my hair, as you saw in the clips before and then after that they wash my hair. I think they'd normally wash it before, but ended up washing it after styling it, and then I was out the door so with this. I just need to kind of take care of it, obviously being gentle not pulling on my hair too much, because I don't want to loosen any the buns or anything like that. So, in terms of maintenance, what I am gon na do, what it's been recommended is that I plot it at night so that it doesn't get tangled or anything like that, also to wash it once awake. So I didn't even realise that I thought I'd just be washing it like my normal hair, which I wash normally every other day and extensions once a week. So what I done this morning is, I took this section of hair. This is my natural hair and I put the rest of this hair into a ponytail and washed my roots, because obviously this is still my natural hair. Oh it's still gon na get greasy. I won't be actually, but why so that's what you can do is you can wash your natural hair on top, but still leaving your hair for a week for the extensions, because you don't want to keep washing them too much otherwise, they're, just not going to last. You as long yeah, actually that was really quick and because I don't know they're kinda keeping curls more than my natural hair would ah did so um it for a week. It'S gon na be absolutely fine. I'M going to be able to curl it on the first day, and then I reckon just every few days. I might just top it up, but it seems like it's really gon na hold a curl. Well, it also needs to be washing my hair with sulfate free, shampoo and conditioner. So again, that's something I didn't really think about is that I'm kind of gon na have to rethink my hair aging, because I have got completely different new hair, so I need to use sulfate free, shampoo conditioner. I also need to be putting oil on it, Lowe's, which is great, because I've got loads of hair oil in my cupboard, so I can definitely get through that and and then, when I'm up going on holiday, I kind of just thought: I'd be a mermaid in The sea I mean I do need to kind of look after it when I'm out there on holiday and just making sure I'm not ruining it with the Sun and the chlorine and the sea, water and stuff so yeah. I think I'm going to be tie. My hair up when I go on holiday and try not to get it wet as much as I normally would when I'm on holiday, but obviously it can't be helped like if I get it wet. I'M gon na be drying my hair that night, but I think when I'm on holiday, I might just try and take some sea salt spray and scrunch it up so that it can dry. Naturally, so we'll see what that looks like stay tuned, I'm gon na vlog, my holiday, so you'll be able to see all of this. The only other thing is that my tangle teezer is gon na become my new best friend, even though it was already but yeah. I'M just finding this go through the hair extensions, so well, and you can see like as soon as I brush it through. It looks so nice and shiny, and so this one is got hair all in it. But this is the wet hair one and I love it. So it's a lot bigger. You can hold it in the palm of your hand and you can just get through more hair more quickly. So I really like this on so that's kind of my hair journey. I will put the links below for everything for hair. We have London and also glow for them. If you didn't want to go and check them out, I'm really really really happy with this hair and for someone. That'S never really more clipping extensions before or any kind of, hair extensions. They just feel so nice, I'm just gon na show you my ponytail, like that is my ponytail. I'Ve never had a ponytail, so excited pairing up. London amazing would really recommend. As I said, these are the eye tips, but do let me know if you've got any other questions in the comments below just shoot away and ask me, let me know how what you think of my new hair.
