Fusion Hair Extensions Q&A

Hey guys! today I am answering some of your questions about fusion extensions :)

Hi guys welcome back today. I am answering some questions about fusion extensions that I've been asked on Instagram. I posted one of those question thingies on my story, any questions you guys had and I'm answering every single one that I got and by the way, if you don't follow me on instagram, it is just Alexis Murcia. So if you want to do that, I'm trying to jump right into this. I wrote everyone's questions down in the journal and answered them and yeah. I'M not gon na sit here and talk because that's what not what anyone's here for um! So how much does juice cost and where did you go? Those were the two most common questions I got asked. So I went to instant Beauty, hair extensions in Toronto Ontario and I got 22 inch, 125 gram fusions in blonde. They were eight hundred and twenty-five dollars. So the prices are definitely gon na vary depending on where you go. Of course, I would say if you're like me and you live in a small town but you're near a bigger city, I would definitely head into the city and look for a studio. That'S right for you just because, when you're in a smaller town a lot of times, things like this cost a little bit more because it's just like a more rare skill. I guess in the area like there might be one or two studios that can do it. However, if you go into a bigger city, there's a studio on every single corner that can do fusion extensions right. So sometimes it's just a little bit more up priced in a small town and that's okay, I was quoted. I think the highest one I was quoted was actually in my hometown, which was twenty five hundred. I only found three studios. I couldn't do it here and then in Toronto. There was just so many to choose from and definitely do your research do not just go with the cheaper studios, because I have seen some horror stories if you live in the Toronto area, I can definitely recommend instant Beauty to you. She did a really great job. It is really fairly priced. I had a great experience there, but yeah just make sure you're doing your research and looking at the reviews, because if there has been a horror story, it's somewhere on Facebook. Trust me all right. Are they worth? The money depends on who you are really for me. I personally wouldn't get them again, but they were worth the money. I guess you could say like you know they are like fused into your hair. It'S an extension of your own hair, so it looks a lot more natural. I don't love the fact that you've defiled them every single day. I love clippings because you take them out at night. It'S just like you, don't always have to be wearing them, but with fusions your hair can get like frizzy and separate, and it's just like. I just think it's a little bit harder to manage if you're someone who doesn't like clipping in their hair extentions every morning, it would be more worth it for you and also, if you're down, to straighten and curl your hair every single day, they're right for you, Um, the next question that I got asked the most, which I have so many things to say about this is like what was the worst part about having them and what was the best part about having them. So the best part about having fusions for me was just having long hair all the time, obviously, and they were gorgeous um cons. They are achieved for like the first three weeks, which everyone warned me about, like everyone who had using essentials like so hard to sleep. Sometimes because are itchy, and I was like no they're - not. Why would they be edgy there because they pull on your hair a little bit for the first couple weeks, because they are a little bit tight to your scalp? I guess that's what I found on Google but yeah. It annoyed me to no end when I would like to be trying to sleep in my head with itchy. What'S next, how long do they last mine lasted? I got them done on August 30th and then they got taken out the weekend of my birthday because I got them taken out in Montreal for a commercial shoot where I could not have extensions. So it was probably February 18, so they did last like a good six months. The next question was: when did you start losing your extensions and I actually didn't lose a single extension until I got them removed and by the time I got them removed, they were very, very grown out, but like even when the girl took them out. She said that they were really like nicely applied and everything like that, and she couldn't believe that I hadn't lost any yet what was the best way to style for bed um, I would say for me my favorite way to sleep when I had them was in Dutch braids, I definitely had to wait a little bit because you have to wait for your hair to grow a little bit for them to be more flexible, just make sure you're not sleeping with your hair down cuz. One time I got really drunk and in college - and I slept with my hair down and I woke up with a rat's nest on like the back of my head, and that brings me to another question. I don't know where it is, but somebody asked if they ever got matted one time they got matted. It was because I was drinking and I didn't put my hair before bed. It was right here the next morning I spend about two hours gently pulling them apart. I went to winners and bought hair oil, which your nose was foot oil near them, but I literally didn't know what to do is so bad. It'S like used a wide tooth comb and, like gently, pulled them apart and comb through it for literally so long, and I finally came out, do not sleep with your hair down. Please please: are they hard to style, um, sometimes yeah, I especially if you're like me. I have very very frizzy hair and since the hair extensions are like perfect like if I would go out - and it was like super rainy or something my natural hair would get soaked and then dry naturally. But the extensions would just like dry perfectly and then that's what like really got to me and made me really annoyed with them. Um did they damage your hair if they did damage my hair? It wasn't noticeable because I never noticed any issues my hair did shed when they were removed, but I'm guessing that's because my hair was shedding as they really confused in there anyway. You know what I mean so then it was just like stuck in the fusion and then, as we pulled them out. The shredded hairs came out as well, so it looked like more hair was shedding than it was. I think um but yeah like if it damaged my hair, mind you. I do have extremely thick hair, so it might be less noticeable like if you thin her hair might be more noticeable, but I didn't see any damage so yeah. The next question was basically like. Do you prefer clip-ins or fusions? I personally prefer kleben's cuz I like to play with my look and also like it was really annoying when my hair would get wet or something like that. I own public or humidity, and then my hair would like separate from the fusions and it looked kind of crazy um yeah. I personally prefer clip-ins, but if you're somebody who's down to get up every single day and style that crap and go for it all the power to you, I wish I was you. I would love to be able to have few days again but they're, just not for me. Um they're a little bit hard to sleep with for the first couple weeks, so just be mindful of that. Maybe don't get them exam week. 100 % do not get them exam week if you're in college or high school, because you won't be sleeping and you won't be able to focus on your exam, because you will be itching your head, the entire time yeah, if you guys have any other - and let Me know down below. I know a lot of people from YouTube. Don'T follow me on Instagram a lot of you from Instagram. Don'T follow me on or don't subscribe to me on youtube because I never post about the other one. So I do so. Some of you might not have been able to ask your questions, but just ask me down below, and I will answer them remember that I'm not a hairdresser, I'm just somebody who had fusion extensions. So this is more so personal experience answers. I don't actually know anything like technical or smart about fusion extensions so like if you want to like remove them at home, I'm not the gal to ask, but definitely don't remove them at home. I saw a girl, I'm not gon na name, her remove hers with peroxide and tweezers on YouTube, and I was like go to a studio please, because everyone's worried about their hair getting damaged, and that is how your hair gets damaged. It'S not the fusions. It'S the tweezers and the peroxide or nail polish remover or whatever she had, and she was just like working at in it's like it just made me cringe because, like my when I went to get them removed, I went to a really good studio and she, just Like they gently came out of my hair and this girl was just like really working at it, so you know I'm not gon na name names, but please don't do that. Please don't! Please don't follow that tutorial. I don't mean to like call that girl out or anything like that if you've seen the video, because I mean she can do whatever she wants with her own hair, I'm just saying it's probably not the best idea for you to follow that tutorial. If you're looking together removed, I would just say: get the room professionally. I heard like you can remember straightening iron and you can use like acetone and the pliers. What you can do, but I would say, just go to a studio like mine, came out really effortlessly and I'm like no tugging on the hair at all and yeah. I'Ve definitely seen some videos where they're like pulling on their hair, which is never good, and I can't give you advice on how to remove them at home anyway, because again, I'm not a hairdresser. I would love to go to hair school one day, but today is not that day so have a good day. I love you guys. I hope I was able to answer some of your questions. I guess that's everything I hope I was able to help you all out have a good day. Bye,
