Hey guys, my name is Holly and I have been searching everywhere on how to do my own extensions. I have the keratin links from Donna Bella. I usually get maintenance at least once a month and going on day, 24 of quarantine and they're growing out. As you can see - and I don't like that - because hey it breaks your real hair and well, everyone can see them so today, I'm gon na show you a quick and easy trick on how to do your own since there's no salons open. So first I always start out washing my hair. Don'T want any products and it want it clean and dry it. I use Donna Bella shampoo, let's see yeah, that's where I get. My extensions from I've probably tried everything on the market. They have the best hair. You can also buy tips. This is what the package looks like, and this is what the tips look like. They come in black, clear and brown, hopefully exam my nails, they're, terrible because there's no nail salon open, but here's the brown and then the clear. So I like the brown cuz, it doesn't show my extensions, so I have a bunch of hair that I've saved from the past when I've hired no maintenance once a month, and the reason for that is so I can reuse the hair and that way it saves Money and time so today, I'm going to show you how to do your own. That way, you're not stuck with this so first and I'm going to attempt to do this with a mirror of it on the side, but I've got one really long one. So normally I would just pull the hair back. Oh also, one thing to mention: I did use the Donna Bella conditioner and I only put it on the hair, my extensions I don't get it inside or on the bonds because it can loosen them. So that's very important, but after that that's all I use, because I don't want to soften the bonds so I'll pull all the hair up. I have two corrects that I use also I'd used the Donna Bella protector, which helps so it keeps my real hair out of the way so first put it on that's so, and then I use a clip to hold it on to my real hair. So it doesn't go anywhere, so all you see is that also from Donna Bella, you can buy little velcro stickies. So that way you can keep the flyaways professionals can do it out, but I'm not a hair professional, and I definitely can't so that's that now, if you just want extra, make sure it holds everything, nice and tight, you can even do a second time. So the first way of doing it and I went ahead - have a piece, a Hale ready. This is one from the side that was already cut layered to my hair, so the first way which I've already where you tipped it, and I will show you that if you want to see more videos, just let me know and I'll go through I'll show you How to tip them a ton here that I've tipped, but when I'm about to take out I'll need to retail, so take the hair, as is, and I always like to brush just to make sure. There'S no knots and no flyaways like I just had and you'll put it if you can see right up top, that's how much growth I've had. I was not when the lucky ones that was able to get my hair done before all this happening because who would have known - and I had just gotten married so I'll hold on to the old one. I think my gun, which I'll put links the bottom of my video so that way, you'll know where I've gotten all my products and you can just go straight to Donna Bella and buy it and then and you'll hear some sizzling go up all the way. Just don't let go and then you're gon na twist, just like they do at the salon. The new hair on it's still really good until it's dry. So after that I use Donna, Bella good did Hank off the old one and remove the extension. I will show you where I use, but usually with their hair, you don't need to use acetone or anything it just crunches right off I'll, just use that jiggle it a little bit and you'll hear it crunch where you can spray alcohol on it too. If you have any but I'll hold on to my real hair and then it slides right off without breaking my hair, so that way: hey if you keep them in you're gon na break your real hair and there you go that's the old one. So after that's done, take my gun again and I want to remove as much of the old glue as I can and then twist it. So that way you can cut off all this excess glue and do a REIT it yeah. Thank you for watching and I'll continue to post, and my next one will be the second way of doing your extension without having it on and you can remove it and put on a whole new one. And thanks for watching and I'll put links at the bottom of my video

clipinqueen: Thanks for sharing. I would just caution you to fully remove each fusion piece at some point so you can comb through the hair and take out all yr shed hair. Otherwise nothing wrong with doing it yourself. I do mine as well!

Sandra Wilkinson: Super Information.. Do you know what the heat temperature is on the melting tool? Is the heat temp, close to cool, warm or hot setting on a curling iron? Is it easy to over heat keratin beads? Or burn? I imagine it's possible to make a few mistakes, when I start doing my own? Lol Until I get used to the techniques! I'm still learning how to apply false eyelashes. . Thanks for great video
