Hi, I'm Ava and I'm about to have quite a major hair transformation with great lengths, I'm getting big long, curly hair extensions. I'M also going a tiny bit dark with my color, I'm a little bit nervous, but I'm even more excited. Oh yeah, good thanks. How are you nice to meet you, I'm? Happily I'm Ava. Thank you see. So, let's talk about your hair, I'm really happy with it how it is, but I've lost some of it recently and I feel like it's just losing a bit of life. I'D quite like it to be long, looks I've never had like super long hair. We mention the texture of your hair today, so we'll play around with some perm rods. Have a little lip work out. What'S best for your curl pattern, I've had clippings when I was a teenager, but that was straight we're pregnant. We have two options with the extensions we have the tape method and then we've got the pond. I think will probably go more with the bottom, so it allows you to kind of go a little bit higher. I kind of give me some more left and body into the top as well how'd. You feel about your color at the moment. I love it, but I've had it for a while and I think it's getting a bit frizzy and not healthy. So maybe, if you take it down a little bit darker, we love these kind of bring through a little bit more room, a bit more dimension. But it's quite sort of yeah like down here, yeah, so color wise, but these kind of shades would be quite hard because that can kind of bring down your natural color yeah, but not as dark, and I just want to show an example. These are like the tightest as hormones that we can do on the great limb I mean, I think, that works well, yeah it'll be good and how many shades are there to choose from so great that has 57 base shades, also including fashion colors? If I wanted like big purple ones, yeah, I think we could do it amazing or not today, no, maybe not, and how much does it cost a full head or head you're, looking probably about two and a half thousand and but obviously, if we use less hair? Yes, yeah, so that's that including the price of the Harris yeah, that's including the fries, getting the perm and everything in there yeah and getting it installed properly event light and the cutting as well with that we're just going to tone down your ends a little bit. So I'm just gon na use the cleansing shampoo just to remove any oils fast, then we'll put the toner on and just to give it a little bit more depth in a little bit more of a golden time to blend in better. So the toners all done now, they've, just given you a little bit more warmth to the end. So am I right in thinking that this is human hair? Yes, so the hair is actually sourced from temples in India and part of her like a religious ceremony where people go there get their hair shave. That then goes to the temple. The temple then sells it onto the merchants, which is great then, and then the money from that comes back to the community and goes towards the schools. So it's kind of like the most ethical way of hair that can resource the color options. Massively very so. You'Ve got like your Naturals here, so this loads to choose from from there and and there's also got gold and ash, and then these are more like your fashion shades. So you've got like your super bright ones and then you're more like past early ones, which are quite fun for summer. I'M quite pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be such a big weight on my hair, but I can't actually tell them and how long will they last for once then? So we recommend them in four months and then you remove them. We can send the hair up to the little princesses trust where they create wigs for children and going through like cancer treatment chemotherapy. Anything like that. The color match is actually perfect. I think once my hair's wet in a bit and it will start to blend, it will become even more like it. But even when I put my hands here can feel that this it feels like I've got like a half a few hair pins in but other than that so they're all in now, so we're just going to wet them all down. Let your hair sort of stretch back up again and then what it's to take together. There was just one thing: I wanted to show you as well and I'll position the bond. So how do I keep it? Looking as good as it does now for the whole? Four months, so just the same as your natural curly hair, you know, I'm guessing you probably used oxygen, moisture conditioners treatment. So just keep doing the same. So just really make sure you don't get the top, and is it safe to use your normal blow-dryer with extensions? Yes, so obviously yours are curly, so we're going to do it slightly differently and you just need to pay a little bit of attention to the bonds when using straighteners or tongs, and the last thing left to do is the cut in. So that's really going to show the difference from your hair before and after so I'm gon na shut the mirror and we'll show you when we're all finished. Obviously earlier we spoke about defusing your hair, so obviously I think it's great to keep doing that with the extensions as well. But I'd like to see how you do it. I do medium heat yeah high speed, perfect, so you were drying all the works off, which is what a place to do fair thing with the bottom, because obviously want to dry them off as much possible. So then, now we'll sort of work on the end and getting the shape. I came to your hair. We have a little look at the final results - cool, oh, my god, how they are feeling for you, I'm an actual shot. How have you managed to make it so realistic, so the cut just as important is actually putting a thank you yeah, but you will find over the next two weeks. Obviously your hair and extensors are going to kind of fuse a bit more together, so the codes will be better they'll, be more natural. Not so you'll be more used to doing err. My jeans, I love it bottom line and I'm quite surprised at how realistic it looks. I thought I'd have to do quite a lot of blending. Maybe he's like a curling iron to get my hair so match it, but I couldn't be happier if you have my kind of hair texture. The only option for you is either to put clippings in which are really bad for your hair or to wear a wig or to wear a weave which isn't that great. But now that me and all my curly friends know that this is an option. I can imagine it becoming really popular everyone's gon na be asking me if it's mine and I'll be like yeah. This is mine, don't touch it!

The Sunday Times Style: What would you like to see us try next? Comment below!

Yvvette Ellison Ellis: Interesting, I would like to see her hair after 4 months, will her hair not mat up

Erica Thomas: Really not trying to be negative but this looks awful. £2500 really. You went in way better than you left. If that gets wet in the rain it’s a whole situation, your hair and that weave will completely seperate.

Natasha Dorothea: Love this!

D. A.: What curl is this? I need to get these extensions and want to know the name of this curl pattern ❤

rosa lina: Her own hair are beautiful. I think she has to cut them to fit with those extension...

Opal Skye: Who in the world would spend this much money on extensions like this

Maameelle78: The hair looked dry...

hotties3v3n: The extensions are awful.
