Does It Work? Hidden Crown Hair Extensions!

Well, I can't find my mirror so starting off great, hey guys. It'S me Madeleine, and today we are going to be doing something a little bit different on my channel. I just draw eyes: I'm wearing a black shirt, so you're not gon na, be able to really tell the difference. I don't want to go change again. This videos gon na be so bad. I have always wanted to try hair extensions or a wig just something to make my hair look a little bit different or longer. Today, we're gon na be trying out a hidden crown. I saw this product while I was looking up hair extensions, and I was very intrigued, so I got one and today we're gon na be trying it out. It came in this like really nice, pretty packaging and like this, and then they also give you like a little holder thing for everything. So that's nice. Let me show you what it like initially came in, so it wasn't any on the hair, but it came in this clear little packaging. All like hung up on this yeah. I obviously took it out because I wanted to try it on which was a big no-no. They give you these little extra hair pieces to see if the color matches or not. To be honest, I needed to go a shade darker, but I had already taken it out of the package and tried it on and I can't return it now, which makes sense. Note to self, if you do end up getting one, don't take it out of the package yet make sure it is a link that you would like and also the color, so that you can obviously send it back and get a different one. I mean the color. Is gon na work? It matches more the top half of my hair rather than the bottom half, because the bottom half didn't have highlights. So that's why the top half is lighter because I used up highlights and the color is washing out. Obviously, but I mean it's a pretty good match, especially for them doing it just from pictures. Another thing that I don't think I'm going to like about it is the length it's really super long. I haven't curled it yet or anything and tried to blend it with my hair. I kind of wanted to do it with you guys and have an actual first impression. I just kind of put it on and tried to see. If it looked any good. I think I got too long of a hairpiece, especially for my hair, because it's pretty thick, so it just doesn't blend very well, but we're gon na see if we can get it to blend with the curling iron. But what I got was the layers number four. I think this is the longest link that you can get and it's supposed to be like layered, I don't know the prices of them, but they are pretty pricey, but this is human hair, which sounds really weird to say, but it is human hair. So it's obviously going to be expensive if you're into extensions and wigs and stuff. You probably already know that what really intrigued me about this hidden crown is that it doesn't have clips and it's easier to hide with the string. So I'm gon na be putting this on. I'M going to show you guys how to do it and hope it's right. I don't know. I'Ve only put it on one time and I then realized I wanted it differently and I'm a different color, but can't return it. We'Re stuck with this bad boy, so note to self. If you do get one of these make sure it's the length and the color that you want. It comes with a little hair clip not very sure what that's where I guess, to put it on easier. I don't know also comes with a little set of pliers so that, whenever you are adjusting this to your link so that you can clamp down this little piece right here to hold it in place. So it doesn't slide around or like it bigger on your head and then there was also a comb, but I don't see the comb whoa. It comes with like a little comb, so you can like pull your hair through and then obviously comb it together. But I don't see it in my package: it must be down sit out found. It comes with like one of these little combs, where you can pull it through when you first get it. The string line is going to be really big and you gon na want to just lay it on your head and kind of figure out where you want. The crown to rest once you get that, then you clamp it in place. This is not what its gon na look like, but, as you can see like my hair is too thick, it kind of cuts off and then it's like long hair. I don't know I just feel like it doesn't look very good on me, but once we curl it, let's hope that it looks good. I am going to readjust this. This part is actually pretty confusing. This part is the hardest of it all, but once you get this down, it's it's easy to put on which that's what I like is that you don't it take so long to put it on kind of pull it down there we go yeah. I guess that's kind of where I want it to lay okay, we're gon na clamp it down right there once you clamp this down bro, it is clamped down it's hard to get it to where you can adjust it so make sure that it's where you want It to be, I mean we're gon na cut this string off. I don't have scissors right now, so let's try and uh do that myself got it with my teeth: lovely there. It is adjusted - and this I should probably plug in my curling iron and get that heated up for a second we're gon na put this thing on and we're just gon na start pulling some hair through on top. I couldn't find my mirror, so I'm gon na be looking in the viewfinder just bear with me. Okay, so you just want to pull some hair over it too. Obviously it blend it into your actual hair and that's as easy as it gets just putting it on. Like that, and you should be good to go and there we go, I got it on for the most part, I'm brushing through it's like a straight-up knot in my hair, since this is human hair, you can treat it like your natural hair, and that is exactly What we're gon na do by curling it you can straighten it curl it! I'M assuming you can dye it because it is human hair in the future. If I'm going to wear this again, I am most likely going to cut it because you can just see it is way too long. I look crazy with it on and if it was a darker color, it would blend better with this bottom half of my hair, but I mean we're about to curl it and see what it looks like her old and I mean like you can move around in This thing - and it is not going anywhere. Where do I begin, I don't know way to pick up peas. How does it, how does it get a curl around my curling iron? Okay, oh gosh, it's me so bad literally can't see anything I even curly. Is it even on my curling wand, so long, okay? Well, there's curl number one. I don't know if we even got any of my natural hair in that and that's kind of what we're the reason why we're having to curl is to blend in our natural hair with the extension part, I've heard that they're really good about you can just send It back and they'll send the new color. I think that's really cool that they do that, where you can't test out the color slider color darker color, just to see what matches you better, just! No don't take it out of the packaging before testing that cuz again I made that mistake. I also like that they don't just let people return hair that they've already put on that's kind of gross, not kind of that is gross, I'm not even mad cuz. I understand I can't wait to get this side done, so I can freakin see what I'm doing. I'Ve never used hair extensions before so I don't really know what to be looking out for, but I mean it works hidden. You can put it on. You don't have to put on clips, so that's a dang, the plus cuz, that's something else I would have to learn. You know I'm gon na go ahead and finish curling up my hair and I'm probably gon na fast-forward this process and we'll come back and I'll show you guys what it looks like here is a side-by-side after it is curled. I mean it's still not blended as well as I would like it to be. I mean it's blended way better than over here, as you can tell I'm going to go ahead and move on to the other side and I'll be back for a final verdict. There is the hair, all curled, I don't know if you can see, but still not blended as much as I would want it to be. It'S definitely like my hair is just like cut off, so I am definitely gon na have to go, get them cut or something because my hair so thick that it just kind of like cuts off, but the hair is really nice qualities. If you have thin hair it most likely would not be a problem. I think I just have too thick of hair for something like this, but I did want to try them anyway, and I love the fact that how easy it was to freakin put on like I'm stupid. So if I can put it on, you can put it on, and I mean there is a clear band, but it's like barely even noticeable. I don't even know if you can see it, I can feel it right here. Can you see it? I'M sure you can see it with the lights. Also, you can treat it like your own hair, so you could honestly just put it up in a ponytail. That might be how I would wear this just because my hair is so thick there. That looks pretty good. My final verdict on this is, I like them, I think they're, very nice quality and they are expensive, but with any human hair extension wig. Anything like that. You are going to expect it, but I think it's really nice quality. I love the fact again about how you can just put it in so easy, like you literally watch me put it in, and you guys know how dumb I am so. If I were to get a different link that I probably get, I think there's an 18 inch. Maybe this is definitely, I think, the 22 the longest one that you can get. I would probably want the 18 inch just to give my hair a little bit more length, but also not this freaking long. I think I'm just gon na have to cut it to get it. The link that I want cuz, it's just. It doesn't blend very well with my hair because of its so thick. But if you have been here, I don't think it's gon na be a problem for you, I'm not really into extensions and wigs and stuff. So I'm not very sure, but I'm pretty sure.
