Donna Bella Hair Extension Review

What'S up guys um and girls uh, i am hopping on because i wanted to share a kind of like a review or informational video um on behalf of donna bella, hair extensions um. I do work with them. No right now. I do not have extensions in. I am getting ready to have surgery on my wrist and i thought it would be so much more difficult to take care of extra hair while recovering from a wrist surgery. So i had it out for the month of december. However, from today until the 20th, they have an additional 15, they have 15 off their website and with my code, you can get an additional discount on top of that, and so i wanted to talk to you about the two types of hair extensions that i have Had personally from donavella so back in, i think it was september. Yes, i had tape in extensions placed by a salon here in town and a hairdresser, and i have had tape and extensions before um and believe it or not. I got tape and extensions by going to a sally's in louisville a couple years ago, um four hours before i was supposed to go to a derby event and the kind sales uh person had me sit in the back of the stomach. I laugh about it now and put all of those tape and extensions in he did a great job. However, the color did not exactly match my hair, so um. It took a lot of toning um and a lot of working with my hair to try to get the colors to finally match up and they did. However, the brand was not exactly like ideal for really nice hair and then i had weft tied hand tied extensions as well later on that year, that were not donna bella and while the hair was great and nice, you can always tell a difference between um hair. It'S weird like i've, had hair sit in front of me and, like touched other people's extensions, and it's just not the same, i'm brushing them right now, because this was the first set of extensions i had so in september. I had tape and extensions placed and i did like the one. That'S the ones. That'S like a darker root to a blonde um. I will say that when i had these placed, the blonde was more yellow, so i did have to do some toning on my own. I personally obviously had blonde hair when i did these and it looked really great so i'll - throw some pictures in here and some videos of me with the blonde extensions. So you can see the hair itself feels great. This is two packs of the tape and extensions um. I took them out myself, so they look a little messy, but you can kind of see um the hair, how it is darker at the root and then it gives it goes lighter. So it's kind of like an ombre. It still has a curl in it because i called my hair all the time with extensions um. But what i love about tape and extensions is, you can place them just about anywhere um and they last just as long as long as you take care of them. You can wash your hair, you can put product in your hair. You can use hot tools on your hair, pretty much you can do everything else with your normal hair with extensions and it. For me, it didn't really ever damage my hair. I know some people, depending on the hair stylist depending on the brand. It can damage your hair, so i just recommend making sure that, like you're, not washing your hair every day with extensions, whether they are tapen or weft and then also um using the right kind of products on your hair, i love olaplex. I think donna bella in the new year is going to be coming out with a hairline um. They have a hairline actually that they use it's like are gone um and so i've used their shampoo. I flipped between that and olaplex um tape. Ins are, there are two type of women who, like extensions, some women, live and swear by date by tape and extensions, and then some live and swear by weft hand-tied extensions. I, like both um, i think as long as the stylist knows what she's doing you'll be pretty happy with your hair um. It would not match right now. Obviously, but i got the 22 inch extensions when i did these so i'll show some video as well. What that looks like with the extension and you can kind of see that it was a lot of hair being two packs um. They will actually kind of guide you on their website, like what kind or how much hair to order. Based on, like the weight of the hair itself, you will be a little tender headed whether or not it is tapens or weft, either way, you're, adding weight to your hair, and so your hair will be a little tender, but other than that. I absolutely cannot wait to get some extensions back in my hair, because, even though i love having short hair, i just live for. Having long hair, i mean it's so nice you can do more with it. I have to learn cute hairstyles, but the day will come when i do so. That is the tape in extensions 22 inch from donna, bella and i'll share like what colors i ordered in my process later on. Okay. So next i'm going to talk about the hand-tied weft. These are hybrid extensions from donna bella, so it's a mix of hand-tied hand-knotted as well as machine um. I loved. Having this hand when i i just these are the ones i just took out. Obviously, because my hair was dark um when i put them in i mean i felt like a totally new person. My hair was on it. I was like, oh my god, i'm a blogger. Yes, not that hair makes a blogger, but i felt like me like i was who i was supposed to be so many of my friends loved it. My boyfriend was excited because i've always had blonde hair when we've been together, um, and so i again ordered 22-inch extensions. I trimmed them not a lot. I just we didn't. I wanted the length if i, when i go to do it again. I probably will trim them a little shorter because without trimming them i mean it was pretty. I mean it was well down below here and longer in some areas, and that was a lot of hair and, like i was like sitting in the car like sitting on my own hair, so i started with the 22 inch in this chest: nutty chocolatey dark brown. We did color my hair to match um. It took a couple of times because i have such blonde hair, but it turned out great again. I will include some videos, so you can see um and, like i said, the only reason i took these out is because i'm having surgery and it's a lot easier to handle short hair than long hair for a bad breast. You can get these also an 18 inch same with the tape ins um. I love to do the sew in like hand tied ones just because i feel like they're more secure on your head. There are a couple of ways that you can do it, so it depends on your stylist uh one time i got it done and they did like the entire halo like rose of the extension and then recently the stylist kind of broke it up and she did Like sections throughout, so it wasn't one all-around strength, both of them worked and my hair was really happy and healthy, and one thing i really love about extensions is it adds thickness and volume to your hair so, like i have a lot of my own hair, but It'S very thin so, like it always looks kind of flat, i mean i was in the bathroom trying to fluff it up before. We started this um, but i love the um weight and the volume that having extensions brings to your hair, i mean you can ask anyone. I looked like a totally different person. I did do two and three three-fourths of a pack of the weft extensions. I have them tied together right now, so they all stay together, um, but i had ordered three and i ended up using pretty much all, except for like a small little bit of the brown, and i kept that in case i need it in the future. So you don't have to do three packs. I'Ve done it before, where it's just been two and like originally, when i got it done, we did two packs and then we added in like three fourths of the other pack a couple days later, just because i wanted a little bit more volume in the back And i had room um, so it really just depends on what you're looking for and i totally highly recommend them. I will toss my code up somewhere here for you to use um and if you do use it before the 20th you'll get a discount. They also have their own brushes, the other ones around here so like these are my two favorite brushes from them. I recommend this type of brush because it's very good on your extensions. You don't have to worry about like hitting your like going too deep and pulling them out right now, when it's just my short hair. I'Ve been using this wet brush, which i also really like. So one of the things that are special for the holidays is a brush set. I just showed you two of the brushes that come in the set. The third one is a comb. It'S in my shower because i use it when i put a hair mask on and i will actually brush out my hair in the shower. I have learned to start doing that versus right when you get out, apparently it's healthier for your hair, so they have the brush set um. They also have the limited edition. Hair waivers mine is in the mail. So as soon as i get it i'll be sure to share that as well as a bunch of other stuff.
