Hi guys it's amy from a couple of sass and i'm back to do a video today is such an exciting video um. So you may have noticed my here. I'Ve been trying to grow my hair out and i'm typically known for my short hair, and you see that it's different um, so I just had extensions put in my hair today um. So I wanted to give you a inside look of the process and kind of tell you what I've learned in my experience. So if you've ever wanted to know what it was like to have extensions or if you could have extensions of the hair link, that I was that the answer is yes. Yes, yes, you can. I really didn't know if I could do it, because my hair was so short and I have a lot of layers in the back of my hair because I had the bob or the stacked look and I was growing it out and I have been growing it Out but it um it still. I have a lot of you know still a lot of layers that haven't like met up with for one link. So let's talk about the hair, so you guys I I was super super nervous about it. If you go on my Instagram stories, you know because I took you on the trip with me, and so I really had a hard time deciding what I'm going to. If I was going to do it or not um - and I thought you know what I'm just going - I'm going to see if my hairdresser would do it so I talked to her and she was like yeah absolutely we could do that and your hair is fine With the length and I'm like okay yay, so since I've been growing it out, I absolutely hated it. I mean, like completely makes me crazy. I cannot fix it, I'm so it's in that in between growing out sage, and you know what I'm talking about it's terrible. So if it wasn't for getting the extensions, I would have already cut my hair back short again, because I just couldn't do it just I just don't have it in me. I have had short hair, not as short as it's been, but since I was 16 I had my hair. That'S when I first cut my hair - and I cut it to about here, and it seems like every year as I've gotten a. I just continue to get shorter and shorter and shorter until it was. You know the link here. I'Ve even had it up to here. I think so. Um I just keep going shorter. Shorter doesn't scare me, I don't know why that's weird, but this scared me the long hair scared me, and so what I got was tape in extensions. So I'm going to give you a little information about them, so the brand of hair extensions I have is called babe, BAE and they're the tape and extensions they're. Caroline, Caroline is also, I don't know if that's the style or that I'm not sure, but tape and extensions, Caroline and the color is 12 / 600. Now this is the most popular popular color. They told me almost everyone goes with this color it pretty much. I guess it just matches everybody's hair color, which really surprised me, but this is the most popular color and it seriously matched my hair so well. I couldn't even tell it apart when I went to have the color swatches done. I was like. I can't even tell him if you've all man Instagram stories, you um, you know, because I showed you, the hair, color swatches and I was like you guys, look how much how well this matches my hair. So I was super excited that it was going to match and I wasn't going to have that light problem. Okay, so um, the hair extensions can add volume to your hair. So if you'll spin here um, you can have the same links here and just have extensions. Put in to add volume also adds link, and you know my hair was probably rimmed here. I'Ll show you a before and after and and here is the length um. Let me see if I can. Let me look and see what I forgot, how many inches we did. So what how it's done is there tape and extensions, and so it's a medical-grade adhesive tape that is actually made for here that they put in you know by dividing your hair up and just you know your hair style, we'll just kind of see where place it And see where it looks the best with your hair, it really was a very easy process, least for me um, it was just a community, didn't hurt, it wasn't uncomfortable and there was no bonding there's no like gluing or anything like that. Like I said, it's tape in extensions, you can remove it, you can take it out, but when you do have them removed, you will have they'll use an adhesive removal specifically for this. For this. These extensions so wrote some notes down here. This is so not both the damage, your hair um, it's very gentle, it's very easy. It uses this is actually real hair, so I bought this from the actual hair stylist from for them. So I have, let's see how many did I get. They come in packages of one package has 10 strands and we used four packages on my hair. You know how much, how little hair that I had so I think four was a great number that we didn't know if we would have to use that many, but I'm glad that we went ahead and ordered them because we needed them. So so it's made. Ok, here's what it is! They'Re tape and extensions are made with a hundred percent pure remy, human hair. Okay. That is so you guys it feels just like my hair, like I cannot tell a difference, it doesn't feel any different. It doesn't. I think it looks like real hair to give it it. Let me think it does anything. Okay, the last me: how long does it last so it's supposed to last six to eight weeks and at that time I will go back into my stylist and she will remove the extensions and she will color my hair or soyal my hair cuz. I get my hair foiled about every angle and every four weeks, but I'm going to wait six weeks, this time, she's going to foil my hair and then she's going to reapply. We tape the extensions, the same extensions and they are to last. They can last. You know they say it can. Last I mean you could probably make them last eight months, maybe if you take really good care of them. If you use like really professional-grade products on your hair and not a ton of products - and you don't use a lot of hot, like your flat iron, isn't like super hot and your blow, dryer isn't super hot, so those things are really important in making them last. They you want them to last as long as possible because they are an investment, definitely investment, but the fact that they could last up to eight months, maybe even more. It is great and then they can reapply them. So in six weeks I will go back and that is what I will have done, but now I will say with my hair being the link that it is. I can tell there are areas that I can tell you know the difference in my hair. It'S not drastic, and but I mean if you're sitting there looking at someone you're going to be able to tell I can tell when someone has extensions in and they look really good in there. It wasn't even my length, I mean they were way longer, but I can tell um, but again I knew that going into it. I knew it wasn't going to be a hundred percent perfect and I am completely fine with that. The growing out stage is not for me okay, so this is my with my solution and I am completely in love with the way it looks. So I'm just going to kind of try to I'm going to try to add in pictures to show you um. I haven't fixed it, I don't mess with it. They did this for me, which they did an amazing job. I hope that I could pull this off because um I love the look, so I think that's it um. I am completely uh. I love it. I do like I said you didn't conceal. I can pull up my hair right here. I can see that um and I can feel it Sylvie I'm taping, but it doesn't, it doesn't hurt and I don't feel uncomfortable. It doesn't really even feel funny. It almost feels, like you know, when you have your hair in a ponytail, and you have you know you can feel the tie in your hair. I mean you know that something there. That'S almost what it feels like to be. That'S just that's an example. I can give okay, so I was told to also not wash it for two days, so the tape sets the adhesive sets in and also caring for, it probably wash every two days: don't wash it daily and use a sulfate C for color treated, hair, sulfate, salt And paraben free - and they also told me to get a hydrating, shampoo or conditioner. This is the kind that I bought from the salon, I'll put all the links below too. So that way, you can look it up um. So it's hydrating and it's addition to like normal um, but for the conditioner that whenever I put the conditioner in my hair, not to put it on where the tapings are so you know just put the conditioner like here and down so then. I was also told in between washing my hair to use a dry shampoo, and this is the one that I picked up. I have never used dry shampoo before I say that I used it one time I didn't really need it. I didn't really know what it did and they told me this will be a game changer for me with a hair, long like this so trying to see so anyway. Those are the items that I got, my that I bought to use and, okay, I think I went over everything or everything that they told me um, but you guys. What do you think I am so crazy like confused, would not very look at myself. I don't even recognize myself because I am just known for my short hair and it's all my kids have ever known me as our whip in short here. So this is like they're like Oh mommy, Oh mommy, you know really having to look at me a couple times and I get it because I'm doing that too, you know my guys. I will check back in with you and, as I go through this extension process, let you know how it's working, how I like it in the later days, so I hope that helps in case you are interested in getting extensions or or have thought about it. Like me, thanks for watching guys all right,
