Diy | Keratin I-Tip Hair Extensions

I-tip hair extensions are great if you are looking to add some body and a little length. You can pull and part your hair any way you'd like. But to buy these pre-made you have limited hair textures to choose from and limited color ranges.

Hi, I'm going to show you how to DIY your own. I tip hair extensions with carrots and glue, so if you're interested in learning how to learn this and save a couple of bucks, please stay tuned thanks. So, first, what you're going to need is an old flat iron or a mini flat iron. You can get a mini one at Marshalls and Ross places like that for about fifteen dollars, or you can just reuse an old one. So here I'm just using an old one that I got from my aunt and you're also going to need keratin. These are carrots and beads um. They just look like little tiny pellets can't really see that but I'll zoom in later. So that's what you're going to need. I got minds off of Amazon. I forgot how much, but maybe around twenty dollars for three hundred little pellets, which is more than enough - and I also have these microbeads. They are lined with silicone, so it doesn't damage your hair and one of these tools, but you can also make one of these yourself and, of course, you're going to need some hair and a pair of scissors. So, let's get started so I'm going to demonstrate that again you want to measure your weft, so I'm only going to use about half of this, because your eye tip extension cannot be too thick or too thin. So I'm just going to split after that. You want to cut off the left comb out all those short hairs. If need be, you can trim the hair at the top, so it's more even at the top, and then you need to grab your flat iron, which already has a keratin on it. Abiura keratin bead, which looks like so it's just a clear, amber, yellow, um pellet, and you want to grab your hot flat iron and put the keratin on here. So the keratin is going to take some time a couple of seconds to melt on. Sometimes I just use something to push it down on to kind of help, speed it up so yeah, it's definitely Realty. So at this point you can't really tell what it is anymore, since it's melted so much and another way to get your keratin to just melt. Really quickly is to almost close it all the way, so it's almost um just surrounded by heat and pretty soon it'll, just be like this little puddle right here. You can see the keratin puddle right here and you just need to cover your hair, the keratin. So I just slide it right out, and I did it a couple of times just to make sure that the keratin is everywhere again. You just slide it right up, make sure it goes down just for a couple of seconds and then you just twirl it here is your eye tip extension snip off the tip, and that is it. So this is an easy way to save money. You can use any hair texture that you want. You can dye any color that you want instead of buying these already pre-made for you and um having your own pack or two packs or bundles or whatever you want to use for hair will make it. So you can ensure that you'll have enough hair, because sometimes they only sell by a hundred eye tips or 300, and you don't know how much you're going to need. So I hope this is helpful thumbs up. If you want to see how you apply these in your hair and thank you for watching bye,

MakeWayForCJ: +Darling Aaliyah - This is a good idea but there is an easier and less messy way to go. You could also just go get a bottle of Liquid Gold Weave and Extension bond from the beauty supply store, put a little on the tip of the hair (getting tall of the hair on the tip soaked with it), twist it tight, let it sit and then clip off the top. I do this all the time and it takes less time, is less messy and you don't have to mess up a flat iron to do it.
