Tape In Hair Extensions (Take Down And Reinstalling)

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. Today we are going to be taking down tape in extensions toning, the client's hair and then re-installing the tape and extensions back onto the client's head. So my client has been having 18 inch bellamy taping extensions for about eight weeks. Now, as you can see, they have grown out with her hair heather does take really good care of her hair extensions. She uses the matrix length, gold, shampoo and conditioner, as well as the heat protectant, so her extensions still look really really good, so i removed all of the extensions with the bellamy, tape and extension remover spray. Since all of the extensions are out, there should be some tape. Residue still left, so i pre-washed heather's hair to get her hair ready for toning. As you can see, her roots have grown out and they're a bit more brassy. We are going for a more ashier type of tone for her rootage as her toner is processing. I am getting a tone bath ready for her extensions here. I'Ve cocktailed a mix of matrix length, gold shampoos, matrix brass off blue shampoo and schwarzkopf bc, bonicure purple toning shampoo. Here i am just mixing in the shampoos making sure everything's processed in the water kind of broken down and is diluted and ready for the extensions to be dipped in and we're ready to dip. I come through each hair extension strand to make sure all the knots were completely taken out to get them ready for this tone bath. The purpose of this tone bath is to help to remove all brassiness from the hair extension strands. Heather'S hair is pretty platinum, so we want to make sure that her tape and extensions are going to match as evenly as possible. So heather's hair has processed beautifully the root shade took to that brassiness. So well, it made it a lot more ashier. I quickly ran through heather's ends with the purple and blue shampoo mixture, as well just to remove any extra brassiness. She is ready to get her extensions. Put back in the extensions are in and they blend beautifully. Heather has three full bags of bellamy. 18 inch. Platinum tape in extensions i am loving, heather's new root shade. I love that the ashiness of her new roots really blend into the platinum white ends so much more better than that brassiness did here. I just gave heather some beachy kind of waves.
