Alright guys welcome to another vlog, I'm actually in Gig Harbor Washington right now, which is only like an hour outside of Seattle. We'Ve just got the Starbucks, apparently they're still doing straws at this one. I just need to get my own cup and forget and see how do they do like them, drinkable, lids or whatever, but this is like my new addiction right now. I get grande iced green tea with two scoops of matcha powder, sugar-free, vanilla, two pumps and then just a little bit of cream, and it's so good and it's like a way cheaper and healthier version and less sugar than doing just the matcha like iced latte. And it's so bum! Well, there's another shot, we say there, but I'm super excited because I'm actually headed to get extensions in it's a new technique. I'M gon na get all the info from the hairstylist, but there's only two people in all of Washington who do it. So I'm going to a prima salon and I figured I would vlog it because it's a new thing and there's not a whole lot of videos on it and it's. I think it's really interesting. It seems like the best way to do hair extensions, but here's my hair without extensions in so it's definitely getting longer and it's way healthier now, because it's all like growing out, but it's just super thin now because of a magog, the my grandma dication one. It just has made my hair completely like fall out and thin, so that's like my main reason for getting extensions and to add a little bit of length, but also just volumes. I took out all of my tape and extensions myself a couple nights ago and then did like a hair mask and stuff, and just let my hair kind of chill for a couple days to get out the tape ins. It was super easy I just put like oil and conditioner on the root and then they kind of just like slid out, but I think today we also might kind of like switch up the color a little bit. Nothing crazy. I just kind of want to add some like highlights in the front of my face just to brighten it up a little bit. I'Ve never done like dark with highlights. I either tryingo like a totally different color or just stay black with the extensions. These type of extensions it looks like they blend super well with any kind of like highlights and stuff, and you can color the hair. So I have a few minutes. I just did some work inside the Starbucks and I always get to places like pillow early, because I'd rather just get there and not stress out by the way. Today, for my makeup, I mixed the L'Oreal fresh, we're in the shade 400, with the Tarte foundation that I reviewed day 15, a 15-8 foundation, the new shape tape, nope, that's a filled, face tape and a 16, and I think, is this shade and I feel like It'S a pretty good shade match with those two mixed, and I love the finish and coverage and everything. I also used the elf poreless putty primer on and then I didn't use the settings per. Actually, I was going to i Julie forgot and my outfit is a Seattle basic, just a little sweatshirt and my Patagonia like when I wear it every single day in Seattle. I'Ll see you guys that pairs long, so I'm here in LA I showed I think, we're just gon na like brighten it up in the front a little bit so we've started my hair. It'S Christine hi right right now we're doing we're doing your ear face color! So I'm actually going in and adding some face, framing highlights just to kind of brighten her up a little bit give her some more dimension. Show you guys how we are coloring. Her extensions in the back to technique is MBR which to the natural beauty, rows yeah and we use Pantene hair and I think a lot of people get confused about how they think hand-tied hair or hand. Tied extensions is a natural method and it's actually the hair. We use and it's actually hand tied at the top of the left, so I'll show you guys some it a little bit, but it's a really thin and it lays really flat and I can layer those pieces in the hair, and so it actually blends in even Better yeah, the cool thing is that, like without what tapings and stuff it's hard to put your hair yeah cuz, you can like see the tape and with these ones it's literally just two rows of hair, that's like sewn in basically at the top right. Actually, we we do will be, do several pieces, not a row, so I do like a horse shape horseshoe shaped section or in the head and then I build a track and then I on that track. I will layer the pieces that I've colored and so those one yeah, you don't see any basil, tea, yeah anything and you can wear the highest ponytail you get or a top knot, and you won't see anything you out of doing this for a couple years. I have been doing that for a little over two years. All right got all the boys, I'm just kiddin thing out there we cover all of the West. So that's a plan perfectly with your hair. These were about. They were like a chocolate brown and I needed more of the dark for your face, so I'm coloring, those Ashley is actually coloring those for us. This is what it looks. Like Oh looks nice and like Nick, we have the first truck and we're doing normally with exemptions. It takes like hours to put the man and this one's cool too, because when you take it out - and it takes like ten minutes to read ouais - that wants your hair chattermouth, I'm studying her hair wefts, and this is where I get to look because we're not Just doing the black, actually, I can't really tell right now, but in her hair I do have some ashy air pieces lighter, lighter pieces somewhere I get to it really creative and see where I want the hair placement in the color placement to be so. You can just go around the faces to figure out where yeah, sometimes I'll, pin them on or sometimes I'll hold it like. If I had weight a lot more dimension, I would kind of just hold it up to your hair first and see make sure that it matched, but this one a little bit easier in the sense that we're not doing anything too far from that your natural is Through the trap, you want sea beads, so we have all the parent, how like subtle and how does that feel. It was really good, so I'm gon na curl it now leaving that out not so curly creates that really nice relaxed beach babe some pins on the longer these are 22, so sometimes I'll start again on the bottom. Where I left off, you don't think. Oh, it's a video, more maintenance, but it actually makes things easier because your stylist lasts longer the curls last longer yeah. I'Ve always felt like long hair was easier than yeah short here. Yes in longer, you could just like throw back in a bun if you feel yeah. Thank you I'll. Look out there mom t-shirts yeah by Teli, okay, everyone does that, like an ECU deeply, it's a game and my best friend's boyfriend still calls me Natalia. She has two full rows of natural beater, both and her hair. A little bit of dimension that you see in there is I'm her extension. So there's a little bit right there and I asked those those pieces started out platinum blonde and I just toned those down to a nice ashy Brown in the camera. For some reason it looks a little bit more on the warm side, but in persons they're, very ashy, and so I literally only I did six foils three foils on each side. It was in her hair and then you can see how, as I when I added into those extensions it just continued on down. So I really didn't have to put a lot of light nur on her hair, so we really saved the health of her hair and just added the rest of dimension came from her extensions you're. So welcome that looks amazing. Okay. So it's actually now about a week later. I just filmed this look, which will be up. I think, after this video I think it'll be up like right after or next week for sure, but I wanted to give myself like a few days to live with the extensions before I kind of wrapped up this video, so yeah. I'Ve had him in for about a week now and I actually haven't washed my hair. Yet I can go a long time without washing my hair. My hair doesn't really get oily and if I just use dry shampoo in between it's like we're good to go, so I just washed my hair as little as humanly possible, but I'm about to wash my hair tonight. So I just wanted to film this. While it was still, you know, fresh with the color and everything right now in the next video once I've had these in for a couple months, I will do like a full update on how I'm liking them and how it goes with washing them, and all that I just wanted to give you kind of like my thoughts as of right now so the first night I got back, and I would say the first full day after you can feel them like. They feel very tight, Christine told me to take Advil. I already had a lot of pain pills in me just from other stuff, so I didn't do that, but it does feel like super super tight, which is the same way the fusions feel the first night. It'S not super comfortable. It'S not comfortable asleep on if you're, like really a pain, sensitive. I wouldn't call that pain. It'S just like discomfort and then just be aware of that that the first couple nights are a little bit uncomfortable. But after that, like right now, I can barely feel them in my head. Just feels heavier obviously, because I have more hair in, but that's how it feels with any extensions. So far I have been loving. I put my hair up, I think twice so far in like a high ponytail or high bun. It is like a world of difference between teh pins in this because it lays flat against your head. So you can't see them at all, like you can tie back your hair pretty much any way and you can't see the extensions because it's just like the band across and they don't like, stick out weird in certain angles. So you can wear your hair, pretty much any style. So if you're someone who likes styling your hair a lot - I would say these ones are definitely the way to go. You are supposed to brush them with a wet brush every day. I think morning and night. She said so here's the full full hair. I love it, I'm so happy with it. I love how it's like very subtle dimension and you can see it in certain lighting more than others, and it's like a cool toned light brown color there. I think you can seize them right there. I think I want to go a little bit shorter next time, just like another inch, so probably around, like 18 inches, just because I'm shorter so longer hair looks longer. But let's see, if you guys can see some of the color she added oh yeah. So there you can see so this is like the extension any of the a sheer light. Brown is the extensions and it's cool, because then you don't have to damage your real hair as much or at all. If you don't want to, but you wanted to add some other color in because you can just dye the extensions. So I love that now you can just kind of see things more and my real hair didn't take to the bleach. Quite as much as we were hoping, it would, but she said next time, it'll kind of come through more. You can see some right there, like that's my real hair, lighter right there, that's what we're gon na shoot for next time, but for the first one I love how it turned out so right now I would say the only kind of like difference or con. I can think of what these are just that they're more expensive. They are much more expensive than tape and extensions they're like round the same kind of pricing on fusions. So if you are thinking about investing in these and you're like okay with the price point and everything, then I say go for it because I don't have one complaint right now so far. I will update you guys but yeah right now, I'm like much preferring these over teh pins and you guys know I still like I like teh pins. I didn't have any kind of bad experiences with tape, ins or anything, but that's where we're at right now. Thank you so much Christine. I love my hair. If you guys are in the Washington area, gig harbor, it's only like an hour outside of Seattle, and it is so cute like. I can't wait to go back there when it's like nice out, duper cute little like breweries and restaurants and stuff right along the water, so I definitely want to get there early and kind of like walk around next time. But the other thing I wanted to say was it took way faster than I've ever been in any hair salon for coloring my real hair custom color on the extensions and then also applying the extensions he goes in and out in about three and a half or Four hours four hours tops, which is unheard of for all that stuff, if you're familiar with the whole extension process and everything so super quick and also when they take it out, it only takes like ten minutes to take them out, which is also plus, usually with Fusions, it can take like four hours to take them out with Chapin's. It takes like half-hour to an hour to take them out, depending on how many you have in so definitely a time. Saver too, as far as hair maintenance and things so hope, you guys enjoyed it, seeing this process of getting the MBRs. If you didn't give it a thumbs up, definitely check out Christine down below Ellie for Instagram her website and the information about her down below. In the description box, I'm running out of breath and my arm is gon na fall out from holding this camera. I love you guys, thanks for watching, see you in my next video bye,

Christy Strohkirch: Gorgeous!! She did an awesome job! The extensions and highlights look so natural! ❤️‍‍‍

ShazziusPrime88: I wouldnt say thats a colour change but those extensions are bomb! They look so soft and long!

JennaBethBeauty: Hope you enjoyed your break! You deserved it for sure! Thanks again for all of you hard work on 15DOF! I am sad that Atlanta didn't win but I am so happy that we exceeded our goal ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Tara N: I loved my NBR! Not damaging at all, and blended so well with my hair. I had shoulder length and went 18inches.

Beth B: Love the new colour and Looking forward to 15 dof wrap up video!!! I hope you relaxed and enjoyed your time off you really deserved it Taylor!!! Lots of love respect and support

Alyssa Martinez: I've has this type of extension before! It's funny that you say it's a new technique and not a lot of people do it where you live because I live in the smallest town possible in North Dakota and they offer this style lol! I wasn't a fan of it though because the beads slipped out often and it was hard to wash in between the wefts so I ended up only keeping them in for like 4 months

CherriBlossom88: Taylor’s hair looks so freakin pretty! I think she did an amazing job ❤️❤️

Linda Debelack: I've been mixing those 2 foundations since the tarte one was released I also.mix the tarte one with your coveted favorite mixer, COVER LOCK and I'm SOOOOO in love with it ♥️

Dianne McClintic: So glad you’re loving your new hair, it looks great!

Kayleen Rosenberry: Thank you SOOO much for making this video. I have been contemplating getting extensions for a long time. I'm so glad to hear of a way that is so natural looking and can be put up in a ponytail.

autumn johnson: Yes I’ve had nbr for a year! I love them I was in a car accident and I had like 14 surgeries total and my hair fell out a lot and nbr saved my life it makes me feel so much better about myself my girl is amazing

Demetriss Patterson: Love that last makeup look! The lipstick reminds me of my beloved MAC sequin, which I’ve been trying to replace for like 10 years.

Kari Peterson: Looks amazing Taylor! Absolutely gorgeous!

Cora Mackenzie: Wow, your hair extensions look really great! It's so shiny and nice, I like the color too, it makes it look less like flat color and more dimensional. Super pretty!

Emily: Your hair looked so nice at the beginning before anything was done to it.

Ashley Linton: I love these. I have them in now. I’ve had extensions for 8+ years and this is by far the best method for fine hair. My hair has grown so much faster and healthier. Also if you take care of the hair and get good quality hair, it can last for a year or longer which is cheaper than other methods including maintenance. I get maintenance done every 8 weeks (I’ve pushed it to 12 weeks once). Enjoy the method! Can’t wait to hear your opinion in a couple months

Michelle Spaeth: Beautiful! I have been making/installing my own tape-ins for a couple of years now but have been interested in the NBR method but haven't done it because I can do the tape-ins myself. Its funny though I have 22" extensions also but in natural black and we have almost the same color skin and dry skin as well. I have been watching you lately because its nice to see makeup, hair and skincare information on someone so similar to me. I am older of course haha! Awesome video. Thank you for documenting this! Looking forward to updates. :)

amy loo who: Your hair looks amazing!! Its so making me want to finally try extensions!!❤

Melodie_De_Ma_Vie: Your hair looks so good!! I so want to get these now. I've been debating extensions for a while. I was either doing highlights or extensions for my birthday this year, and now I'm pretty sure I'll do extensions! Also, I like the subtle highlights. I was expecting blonde, but this ended up looking so good!! Turned out really pretty~

Alexandra: I love watching your videos. Even when I have no interest in getting extensions I still feel like I learned something about the process. Thanks :)

Elizabeth Greer: I love it! Your hair looks amazing!!

Bailey Wells: I love how genuine you are with people!! I see so many YouTubers and just people in general that are SOOOOO rude and treat people doing them a service, poorly.

Melissa Burke: It looks so great, Taylor. Those highlights are absolutely perfect for you

Elaine Rose: You look like a Victoria’s secret angel with the long flowing curls! So stunning!

Future: I definitely like the dimension in your hair. The color suits you and it looks more natural than an all one color look. I think the extensions look really natural, but it might be a bit too much hair for your small and petite frame. I think one row would probably be plenty. I’m interested to see how your natural hair does throughout the growing process and if you decide to remove them. I have fine hair but a decent amount, but extensions seem like too much work for me personally. I have to wash my hair a minimum of 2 times per week. More if I’m working out like I like to, but I never wash my hair more than 3 times per week. Washing will do a number on your hair, second only to heat styling! Thanks, Taylor!

JessBz: The salon is beautiful and the hair is gorgeous! And you look beautiful as always! Great video Taylor ❤️

Laura Marshall: Your hair looks so amazing !!!

yensid: Your hair looks amazing ♡

Debbie Dobles: Hi Taylor! Your hair looks beautiful ♥️

Kaitlin Beste: Thank you so much to the stylist and you as well for including and taking the time to film and being open to this new method I hate getting something done with no reviews my stylist just told me about this one bc I hate my hair getting ripped from the keratin bond

Kelli Buhrmann: Your hair is goals! So thick and shiny and healthy. Thanks for sharing!

Elle's Bell's: Your hair looks amazing. I’m definitely gonna try it.

Bobbie Amdahl: The “drinkable” lids are called Nitro lids and you can ask for one when you order and they will do that instead of a straw lid! ❤️

Nicole Hopkins: You look great Taylor, I love your hair!!

Merrily Mari: I'm about to ombré my hair too! Look at us changing it up

Paris Day: Your new hair looks really glamorous! Have a beautiful day!

irene mcstay: You're hair looks so healthy! I am epileptic and my hair used to be so thick, but meds have caused a lot of it to fall out. Now it's crazy thin. I've never had extensions but want to try them. Would you have any advice or recommendations for a first-time extension wearer? I'm so happy you're back!! I was having withdrawals.. Baerrito fam needs our den mother.

Amy Chloe: Loved the video! I had these hair extensions. I noticed quite a lot of hair from the root pulled out along the beaded row. Hope you have a better experience, look forward to seeing the follow-up video <3

Laura Englehart: It looks great! ‍♀️ I know all of us in Pittsburgh are going to be excited to see the new hair in person soon!

Krista: The extensions look great and I love the highlights!

Alyssa S: "You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it. I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it"

LILY Ortiz: Loving the hair. Definitly thinking of letting my hair grow long again. It is harder to handle short hair.

Gizzy: Loved the hairstylist!! I have never had extensions. I was thinking tape ins but after watching numerous videos. I like to pull up my hair, so I don’t think tape ins are for me. Jenn M: wow your hair looks amazing. thanks for the thorough info!

Mells489: Love your hair! I’m so happy your back! I hope you enjoyed the break you had

Emily: Finnnnnnnally good content to watch. Your hair looks great btw and that foundation combo looked so good tg

bellememorie aka Kristen: OMG, I had the same issue with Amovig and my hair and my doctor wasn't too sure about it being a side effect. Unfortunately, Amovig hasn't worked, but it's nice to know I'm not crazy for thinking it caused hair to fall out. Edit: Your hair looks great!

Erin Rutenschroer: You could literally shave your head and you’d still look absolutely fabulous.

haley humphrey: Your hair looks amazing! So glad to see more people doing NBR. I've struggled with extremely thin hair my whole life.. Tried glue ins in high school and have worn clip ins sometimes over the last 10 or so years. I researched NBR and I got mine in November of 2018 I still have the same hair, I have went in for a "move up" once so far. I am going about 11 weeks in between move ups. It really has changed my hair... Having extremely thin hair, i get oily so quick, was washing my hair EVERY single day... Now with NBR i can go every other to 2 days between washes. It really, for me anyway, has been life changing. I have 2 full rows 18inch but we cut probably an inch or 2 off that. I feel more confident now that my hair doesn't completely suck anymore. I was always so self conscious of my hair because all of the girls I'm around all have such naturally thick nice hair. It's expensive, but completely worth it for me. I'll probably need to buy new hair at about the 7 and a half month mark though. I hope you have a good experience with them and hope you enjoy have them as much as i do!!

Natalie Cox: YAY YOU’RE BACK!!!❤️❤️❤️I hope you enjoyed your week off, you deserve it so much and thank you for another amazing 15OF!!!

Missy Maria: They look gorgeous!! Hi-key jealous of the stylist curling iron skills. I’ll be in my late 30’s this year and I’m trying to talk myself into cutting my hair. I think I’m getting too old to have it so long!

Claire DeSabato: Your hair/extensions came out beautiful!!

Jessi-K K: So glad you back! Week doesn’t feel the same without your videos. ❤️

sicc Fang: The highlights are sooo pretty your hair looks amazing !

Liz Flores: I actually enjoy that type of extension application. I'm hair stylist and I apply extensions too...I love the fact that you dont need tape or glue.

Lil Nikki: So so so excited and thankful. I was getting fusion extensions next week but not anymore. I live outside gig harbor and will definitely be getting in touch with Christine tomorrow to make an appointment. You’re the bees knees - thanks for giving us the scoop

Laura Condon: Your hair looks beautiful!

Patti 1962: Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful break. The hair is beautiful!!

tommymommy 919: Your hair looks amazing! And welcome to Gig Harbor! Hope you found time to see the beauty out here. Would love it if you did a meet and greet here! Been here 30 years and love it!

Lindsey Roy: I've got some major hair envy going on! I am growing my hair out and your hair looks bomb!

Brianne Says: I love that you did a video on these! I'm a hairstylist and I'm getting certified on this technique in early May! Im just North of you in Lynnwood! I also have a fellow stylist friend in Marysville who does this technique too! (if you want her info). I'm going to have her do this for my hair soon too - I'm so excited to try them!

lilacshine9: Wow! Your hair looks great with the extensions in. I've never had extensions so I would have no clue how to care for them. How much do they typically cost? Your makeup looks really on point too; so pretty!

Btch, Please: Looks beautiful. Also bc of my health problems my hair started falling out. I’m super vain about my hair. I’ve been growing it for years now and get about 2-3 inches cut off once a year. My hairs curly but when wet it hangs down past my butt crack. I noticed a lot of hair coming out in my brush and the bottom of my hair looked less then full. I added black cumin seed oil and black current seed oil into my supplements and have noticed my hair has stopped falling out as fast. There was a study in France that used black current seed oil, lycopene and something else and it works as well as an rx. But I eat tons of red and orange vegetables so I didn’t feel the need for lycopene. I added in black cumin seed oil bc it’s supposed to help with inflammation but I then read it’s a middle eastern beauty secret for hair health. The oils are all good for your general health. I give my kid with chronic eczema and dry skin the two oils and so far I’m thinking it’s making her less dry and her eczema spells last shorter time periods. I need to document the time and compare but again they’re good for you in general. I’m a lifelong vegetarian so I definitely benefit from the fatty acids I don’t get from meat and fish. Also I started taking organic msm sulfur for pain and I’ve since read it can help with hair and skin issues. It def helps with dry skin. I’m chronically dry and after I started taking it I was waking up with an oily face. In winter. That doesn’t happen in summer even when my room gets a bit to warm. So there’s that. They could be working synergistically. The one thing if anyone tries this is to go with organic cold pressed black cumin seed oil. Black current seed is harder to get bc black currents were banned in the 1800’s or something for some reason I forget. They’re huge in Europe but in the US it’s more scarce. I had to go with encapsulated black current oil. But the black seed oil I get as a bottle of oil that I put in capsules myself. (Bc it tastes funky af.)

Raelyn Fey Gaming: We've missed you!!! I hope you had a great break =) Hair looks amazing by the way

mati261000: So good to have you back! Your hair looks beautiful but please be careful. The weight of the extensions can pull your hair and leave you with less hair. It is best to cut your hair and start using products to help grow your hair back. Biotin is also a must. I am telling you this because of my own experience. My hair did grew back but you need about a whole year to accomplish it. There is a shampoo by Shea Moisture, that is sold on Amazon, with Jamaican black castor oil, that is really good to grow back the hair. Thank you Thataylaa for being so sweet. You're greatly appreciated by us.

Bobbi P.: I've been growing out a pixie for a little over a year now and I JUST got it all evened out with *botched* layers in January. I'm friggin jealous of your hair

Kayley Jakob: Missed my MWF 6PM P.T.!!!!!!❤Hope the break was peaceful! I am so happy to have a new video from you, definitely need it after a long Monday (college life is rough with midterms and failing GPAs)
