Look up Ikson

Song: Look up - Ikson

Hey all whats up, it's a I have extensions again and I feel like a mermaid. I was loved as I didn't talk to y'all about this video they it's gon na, be so much fun. I can't wait to share with you all the do's and the don'ts, because I know I know so - I'm just a quick little backstory to give you some info about how I know what to do and what not to do so. My first experience with extensions was going on at Amazon yeah buying some, my friend, God, that we're super pretty the first like month. They were pretty okay and by the second month they were so mad at up that, like I could go like this, and I would have a math. That literally was this big. I had to brush my hair every four minutes. My hair was like falling out. It was horrible, it was like I felt like a golden frickin retriever, because my hair was literally just like everywhere. It was ridiculous. It was horrible. I saved money by not spending money on actually good human extensions, which is very important to note. By the way, they were not a hundred percent roommate, remy human hair, and so that made a really big difference. So while I thought that I was being smart and wise and conscious of my money, I really was not and ended up spending more in the long run, because I got a bunch of crappy hair. So great. So I definitely know the do's and the don'ts of hair extensions at this point, and I wanted to make sure that if I was ever gon na talk to y'all about this again that I did it completely right and crown hair extension, this is really helping me Out with that, they're actually sponsoring this video and they have teamed up with me to just provide you guys with the best hair extensions and the best most professional, like Pinterest, worthy hair, expiry your life. So, just a quick little background of crown hair extensions, the owner is named Jenna. She is gorgeous beautiful, hair, of course, so sweet the whole hair salon is just like it's like basically walking into like my brain. It'S like pink and there's homemade like custom macaroons that they have for everybody, there's couches they do before and after pictures, when you walk in they're like can I get you some coffee or water or a puppy? They literally have a puppy that runs around and just like, loves on you, her name's Belle and she's adorable and, in addition to just the environment being great and super professional. Everyone is really knowledgeable and they're, also just gorgeous and kind and welcoming and very, very, very willing to work with you on not only what you want, but what's gon na be the very best for your budget and your lifestyle. So I went in thinking I'm gon na do like the West, like the tie-in hair and, after speaking with my hair stylist, she actually was like hey in my professional opinion, based on the fact that you love being outdoors, you like pulling your hair up. You do yoga, etc. You'Re gon na actually want to get some eye tips, and so I went in thinking like okay. This will be the best thing for me, and actually she saved me money by doing that, and these are gon na be an even better option for me, so the other ones would have been great, but just not the perfect fit for my lifestyle. All that to say definitely worth it to go to a place where they specialize in extensions and that they're not just trying to get money out of you, they're really trying to say. Is this the best fit for you? What do you need, so? The hair that crown salon uses is only Bellamy. It is the best hair. It'S the top of the line. It'S a hundred percent natural remy human hair, the cuticles go the same way. If they didn't, it would tangle up and you would have like knots and tangles it just is not a good fit. So this is every strand human hair. It'S great! It'S amazing quality. It feels great, it looks great and it's gon na last, you a really long time, so I ended up the eye tips. This is what they look like. You basically will get just pieces of hair like this. Just in little packs you just order. However, many you need based on the thickness of your hair. So what it looks like is this right here. This is the little tip right here, it's completely flat, so it sits flat against your head. They don't stick out. It'S not like a bead. That'S like a big bump and you're gon na be able to see them and they also match the tip to the root color of your hair. What they're gon na do is they're gon na take this little bead right here. They'Re gon na loop, it through a tiny section of your hair and they're gon na take this little eye tip right here, push it into the bead and then clamp it down, and it just holds. There'S no glue, there's no tape. It'S not gon na. Like pull your hair out when they remove it, they just loosen the clip and then it completely just comes out no problem. So the reason that's important to me is I had my tape and extensions removed by someone who had never done it before and the glue was not all removed from a hair, and so I went to wash my hair to get the rest of it out because I thought that there was only a little bit here and there and the glue literally adhered to, like all of my hair, and I was just like I had to brush it out, so I was just brushing chunks out of my hair. So that's why I really like those. The other reason that I really like these is because this has a 360 movement, so it can go up down sideways and I don't feel any tugging or attention. This is really great for like if I wanted to like throw my hair up if I wanted to put it in a bun. I just got this done two days ago, and this doesn't hurt at all. I do yoga a lot. I'M constantly like at the gym with my husband and so putting my hair up and actually being able to like really get in and clean. My scalp is very important to me. I can actually show you guys I can literally like get in here and like it. Under each one of these little beads and really make sure that I'm like able to clean my scalp, the thing that I didn't completely love about, taping extensions was aside from the fact that it hurt to pull my hair up because they only go. They only have such a limited amount of movement with the tapes. I also felt like I wasn't really able to get to my scalp and clean it and so um. I have felt a lot of just tension, just because I mean they're like two inches thick. Almost of tapes, and so you would take like a huge section of your hair, put tapes here and it would hold, and when you would pull up your hair, you could see the tapes. It wasn't great in the long run, for what I was wanting, but it is a really good option if you don't throw your hair up all the time. So now we're gon na talk about how to brush your hair, some products that were recommended to me that actually are created and developed by Bellamy and how to sleep with your hair. So it doesn't fall off your head. So this is the Bellamy professional brush. It has boar bristles, boar, bristles water bezels, pretty sure that's what it's called, maybe I'm just making that up. Also, there's hair in it because it's a brush, so okay um, but basically what it's got is these little like bristles here and then deeper inside there's like the little boar bristles here. So I guess it's just better. I don't know it's developed by Bellamy. It'S for the extensions, so I'm just gon na like stick with it. So what you cannot do when you brush your hair is go from here and then drag it down because you'll pull your head off um. What you want to do. It'S basically just take your hair, like you're, doing like a ponytail, you're gon na grab it like this and then you're gon na start from the bottom and just brush. That'S it! You don't want to brush straight down from the top because that's gon na hurt, but it's also gon na put tension on your extensions and then it's gon na, like literally pull them out, if you're, not careful so I'll, just show you guys like, even as I Get up to the top, you want to make sure you're brushing all the way through so I'll, just like hold it up higher and then do it like that easy peasy. And then, when I'm brushing my own hair, I just grab my hair in a section and then just pull it straight through like I would normally do and then awesome super shiny, soft, healthy hair. Alright, the next thing we're gon na talk about is just products that were recommended to me by my stylist, and so I got all of these for, like $ 50, all of these, and these were developed by Bellamy, hair extensions. So these are definitely for these extensions. Specifically, I'm sure they'll work for yours as well um, but I'm trying to this right so doing it all pomposity. Oh, these are called the matrix total results, length goals. These are developed, like I said, for the extensions they're, also great for your hair and they smell honestly, so good. It smells like something that you would find at Victoria's Secret um. The next thing that it came with - and this set was this - this is the ionic extension refresh professional it maximizes extension life, it's a Brazilian bond builder, so this is going to just like seal the cuticle of your hair and keep it nice and smooth and like From rubbing together, it's gon na just keep your hair really healthy, and it's going to help the extensions last even longer than they would just by you doing the bare minimum of making sure you're, brushing it regularly washing it. How you're supposed to next up is just kind of on the same track of when you wash your hair. You cannot with these eye tips, especially, you cannot leave your roots, wet so anytime that I finish washing my hair. What I'm gon na do is like let the bottom half dry to 90 percent before I put any heat on it just to take extra care of it. You don't have to do that, but I want this to last a really long time, but what I do have to do is go through with my hair dryer and just make sure that my roots are completely dry. That way that I'm not gon na allow any of my extensions to be able to slip out or anything like that. So for styling, your hair, you always want to make sure that you're, using a really good heat, protectant spray, just to you, know, keep damage off your hair. You want to treat your extensions like your hair, but better. Also, when you're going to bed, you always have to just sleep with your hair in a braid, so basically I'll just like throw my hair in a quick like side. Braid like this and put my scrunchie in and then be done with it so another product that I've heard is really really great. Just for your own natural hair, just to make sure that you're taking care of your hair in the process is olaplex. This was created to repair and strengthen all hair types. What this does is it's, it's not a conditioner. It is like a bond builder, so what this is gon na do is just seal your actual hair and just keep your actual hair super super a healthy as well. So I picked up olaplex you can get this at Sephora or online. I have a link in the description box below for you guys for all the products I'm mentioning alright y'all, that's it for my video.
