Hello, hello, just going to get my hair extensions, hello. I am going to get my hair extensions andrew's, giving me a ride because i don't know how long this will take - maybe three or four hours, but i am going to try the fusion extensions um. I believe the hair is great lengths and i'm really excited hair is already quite thin and like lacking volume, i've had tape and extensions. Before i have a video of that, i will leave it below, but postpartum and like pandemic stress and everything. My hair is just not good and the baby literally pulls your hair all the time. Yeah she just grabs a little fat finger like don't take any more of my hair. I have none left, so i'm gon na try this and see how it goes. A friend of mine recommended deidre at citrus hair salon, and so we're going to go. Do that today, i'm very excited. I did not have a lot of time. Okay, let's get there in one piece: xiaomi yeah, so the fusion extensions are like the keratin bonded they're like really thin, and what does this mean i'll insert a photo of what it looks like that's? Why i'm like going like this, but they're they're, really small and they almost look like kind of like fatter hair strands, and so they look really natural. And so you can kind of like run your hands through them and move your head around without worrying about your hair kind of moving, and then you can see the extension because, like my hair is pretty fine, so i'm getting them for volume not length. So i need i need everything that i can get, but i think these ones are supposed to be the best the most natural and because the bond is keratin, it's not terrible for your hair. I believe they last like about three to four months. Oh really, yeah! That'S awesome, so that's awesome, so i guess i'll be driving you everything! That'S great! So i got my hair. I mean it looks like right now. Look at all the little babies. I was just gon na say: look at the baby hairs thanks honey. So i got my hair highlighted earlier this week to prep for this, and i'm going in and they're gon na do like a really clarifying shampoo and then get started on the extension process. So i'll show you what i can of that all these little baby hairs. It'S good they're, growing and yeah there we nicely go and blow dried, very straight here, all the good, so, okay, i am home now, and this is what they look like. They look amazing like i am so like not shocked, but i'm i'm shook it's actually incredible. Like okay, you can see one right there when you like push down really hard, so this is what they look like. I think i got three three. I can't remember what they're called i have no idea. What i'm talking about all i know is that these look amazing, the colors blended, so well. She cut them just a little bit longer than mine. I didn't really want a lot of length, but so insanely happy it's a fairly expensive and time-consuming commitment. But, oh my god, i can't believe it so i'll update you on how they feel tomorrow, like they, don't really feel painful or anything like they're really flat. Sometimes they can feel tight and itchy for, like a week to two weeks after that's super normal, while your hair, just kind of like, gets used to it yeah in terms of aftercare, she gave me a brush that i have to use, so you want to brush The bottom of your hair and then work your way up, and then you actually do want to brush this part, because you want to make sure that the bonds stay like separated um and then, when your hair grows out, you want to make sure it doesn't get. Matted at the top there, so she said about three months: i'm gon na see if i can push it to four, because i think i probably want to do this again depending on how it goes. She said to be careful with washing your hair. Don'T flip your hair over or like bring it up like this to wash it just kind of like wash it like this, don't go to bed with wet hair. She said: try not to let your hair air dry, at least for the top like where the bonds are. You want to just dry that on a low setting with your blow dryer sleep on a silk pillowcase, my arm is sore from holding this now but yeah like i'm so happy, i'm so so happy she's been doing this for like 25 years, so she seriously knows What she's doing i'll check in with you guys in a few days? This is after washing my hair, so i waited two days after getting the extensions put in and then washed. So after washing it, i put a little bit of conditioner on the ends of my hair and then whatever was left kind of on the top. And then i blow dried the roots because they say not to leave the bonds to air dry. But she said it was okay to leave the rest of my hair to air dry, and so this is kind of like my natural texture, slash extension texture and then i just straightened the ends. So that's what it looks like i'm still kind of going to figure out exactly how i want to style it i may do you know, like some braids overnight, see what kind of texture that gets. I just want like a very low maintenance routine, like i really like the bend here and i'm good with my hair, not looking like really styled. It'S like a little bit frizzy, so i just need to figure out like the products and stuff, but so far so good yeah, you just like really can't see anything so good and sleeping on it was like totally fine. I just put it in a low ponytail. I think i need to like get used to how it feels it's not painful. It'S just like different, you know, but it was so nice to just wear my hair down like this and just be like. I have all this hair. Okay, good names,
