Hey, I'm Brittany, great and I'm going to demonstrate how to put in extensions we're using so cat hair. This is what it looks like whenever you get it in its packaged. You will also need these to keep the hair out of the way your combs clips and an extension tool. We are using pre tipped hair. So this is my client amber and already have her sectioned out, so I'm going to demonstrate how to properly put them in. So let's get started so I have amber section now and we are going to start with a single strand. You just take a teeny piece of hair and you are going to go about a quarter of an inch away from the scalp. You place it on the hair. Take your extension tool, you're going to clamp and hold for about three seconds: release and you're going to hold it down and roll. It make sure you get it wrapped all the way around the hair and keep rolling and pushing until it is cold, remove any excess glue, and you have your first extension now. The key is, you want to make sure you are holding it down when you put it in if you're holding it out whenever you put the glue in it is going to stay out, so it will show and it will hang freely. Okay, ladies also remember when you're putting in extensions always take the perimeter you're going to want to take put their hair up, see. How much is you know how much on the outside is showing pull that down and then maybe even a little more just so that whenever the hair is up you're not going to see any of the bonds? And then, if you have to, if you got too much taken out of the perimeter, you can always go back in and add more so. I'Ve gotten the first row done, which is about six or seven extensions. It didn't take, but just about five minutes and then just do it, keep them about a quarter of an inch apart. Your want to leave space and then, if you have to, if you have more you're going to go in to fill it in, the average head will use anywhere from 100 to 200, maybe even 300. But the average head takes about 150 strands of hair depending on thickness or length. What you're looking for so Amber's hair was. Let'S see here. Let'S back up Amber's hair was about here. She has pretty long hair but she's getting married. So she wanted something. A little more extravagant and longer so the extensions that we have are about 23 inch. Extensions, of course, once they're cut it'll be a little more off, but you know, as you can see here, we've given her a good extra 6 or 7 inches. So I'll also demonstrate how to cut it later. So I'm going to go through an a little more in and I will show you where we get and I tend to twist it just a little bit not really at the root, because you don't want to twist it before the keratin, but twist it just a Little bit now to keep all the hairs together, so nothing gets tangled up in there because once it's in its end, ladies, you do not want to have to rip hair out and just keep rolling until you feel it cool down, and you know they're just going To hang free and yeah, you can see them against the hair, but when you put the hair up or wear the hair down, you won't see anything like. As you can see the perimeter that I took out of her bottom. I'Ve done about two rows so far. So if she were to put her hair up, you wouldn't see nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing! So I'm gon na keep going, and I will show you where we get. This is about the in-between we've put in approximately 70 to 75 strands, and so far we haven't started working on our sides, as you can see, they're really not noticeable. It kind of blends in hasn't been cut yet and if you are to lift up the hair, my primer hides them, so you can't see them so we're going to start working on the sides and then we'll show you how to cut it. So this is what you should look like. If you don't, you have a problem, you may need to check it, so I'm going to record one do some own, so you can kind of see what's going on start sectioning out what you want for the sides, but make sure you have. You can always go in and add more later, so make sure you have at least an inch and a half or two inches a perimeter. So you don't go too far. So once you've got that section out - and you grab your side - you just want to double-check and pull it back and make sure you're still going to have plenty of room without them showing okay, your head, I'm Jimmy! So just pull out a very small couple strands of hair make sure there's no hair around it. They can get caught up in it because there's no getting it out once it's in you're going to have to rip it out. Give me an ultra one, just position it where you want it, pull it in place. Take your extension tool hold it down. You can even pull up on it, but you'll work it into the hair a little better, usually about three to five seconds and then you're going to roll it in place. So it cools down and there's your bond shouldn't be able to see it. So as you do it you'll notice that it's starting to get a little longer on the side, as you work around the biggest thing that people make mistake is they will make a real thick and long in the back and not put enough on the sides and Make it look then stringy and make it look like you have extensions in your hair, which you want it to look natural and fresh and then always just don't get carried away and just keep going and going because you want to just always double check, make sure You'Re not going too far with it, showing and also if you get your hair like this, this is so cut hair. It'S very nice hair, very expensive, it's high-quality, but, as you can tell, it still has a little bit of a frizzy look. There are many things that you can do is you know, farce conditioning treatments and what not? What we're going to do with amber is we're going to do a clear color, which is just basically going to glaze the hair and apply you know nice coat and close. The cuticle, which hopefully will help reduce that frizziness okay, so we are finally finished. This is Amber's hair. It blends quite well with drawing it's very, very thick. As you can see, I mean it just it looks awesome we've given her about 6 inches after the haircut. Her hair was about here, so I don't know, maybe even a little more go ahead and turn to the side, as you can see even down the side, it blends, that's the thing is you know you got to get it good on the side. Okay, go ahead and turn to the front as you in everything blend into each other looks very natural. She can walk down straight. Nobody know she have extensions, that's the base thing. Is you see girls going down the street near like what is in her hair? Somebody did a bad job within the sentence, so this is what it's supposed to look like, ladies and if you have any questions you can. Let me know and thank you amber you

Persephiroth: @Holianaea A default set lasts a few months. However, you can go back to your stylist every 3 months or so for a touch up--some extensions are removed and replaced, others are removed and reattached, and some are left in depending on hair growth. And often, the bond itself is just touched up with more glue if it isn't too bad. So yes. they can technically be stretched for a lot longer, but left alone. they grow out/ get ratty in three.

MissParker: ur demo was great. u basicly answered every question i had. they looked good i am doing my first head tomorrow. thanks.

samantha jean: hi was wondering a couple things, firstly does it damage your hair? how long does the hair last? and how do you remove them without damaging your hair? thankyou :)

Chelsea King: @bbsbby it usually depends on the area the salon is in and if that salon supplies their own hair or they are having you bring it in. The salon i work in does not supply the hair so we ask clients to bring in their own. We have a stylist who sews them in and our salon charges $120 per track of hair.

Sheneisha Stevenson: Wow i am definitely getting my hair done like this. Exactly how long does it take for you to do a full head?

KayHeartsYou96: No they only stay in for about 3-5 months, maybe longer depending on how well you take care of them. I've heard you can go back and get them removed and I've also heard if you take a little bit of alcohol (for your hair) and soak the bond it starts to flake away and comes right out.

Chelsea King: it depends on the salon that you go to, some salons do have their own hair purchased from a manufacturer but other salons will have you supply your own.

Bartek Kucinski: Very informative thank you! :)

lisa marie: you are one of the few people who put the right amount of hair in! i see all these girls with thin extensions and it looks horrible! very very good video thank you so much i wish you could do mine

Samantha Paul: Very well done!

haley: So after watching your video I offically decided I do want fusion extensions because they seem to be the smartest choice out of all extension choices but if I were to get someone to apply the extensions for me (but provided the hair and such) how much is usual cost?

Sienna Blue: Do you stack the rows right on top of eachother or are the rows spaced out? Thanks!!

Taylor Peplinski: What other good quality brands are there? About how long did it take you to do Amber's extensions?

Stylethefamous: This is far the best hair fusion! Great Job.. I wish you was in Jersey :)

Ashley Jackson: im in cosmetology school and the educator allowed us to help with extensions and it wasnt messy at all. the glue doesnt drip or anything

Sade Johnson: I have 6 questions look below to see them! 1.)How much does it cost? 2.)Can I buy these extensions and take them home? 3.)Does it have to be done in a salon? 4.)Can you get it wet? 5.)Where do you buy that hair tool that you're using? 6.)Is there a salon in Austin Texas where I can get this done & will it be alot of money?

Themandyking: do u have to buy the extensions before u go to a salon?

Brandi Feagle: Is the heat and the glue harmfull towards your hair? Also if you are trying to grow your hair would it be a bad idea to get extensions? Thanks!

Delaina Davenport: What does it feel like when they are in? Is it heavy, or does feel natural as well?

Kimberly Pickle: ZALA'S value is priceless, they honesly pay for themselves with all the compliments i get when i wear them!

Michelle Jones: its beautiful thanks for the vid

danielle hulka: my aunt has that tool im going to get some extensions here in a few minutes(:

Elizabeth Taberner: where about's can you buy the tools from and roughly how much are they ? :)

FancyFarrah: If my hair is kind of short, like shoulder length with layers, how would you blend the extensions? Could I still get my hair to be like, long or would it look weird?

King Alyssa: @kejawynn The glue generally is sitting on your hair. It will not get tangled up as long as you don't go knotting up your hair. With extensions you also want to wash your hair every other day because they don't create natural oil like your real hair strands do.

KayHeartsYou96: I'm thinking of investing in the equipment to do the fusion for the people around me. I also live in FL. And a lot of people here like their extensions haha.

operaatheist: Great job!

belovedknockout: What would you charge for the hair and service?

danielle cook: how long will they stay in?

BellaBeautyxoxo: what's the cost for the extensions?

Melanie Browning: My hair is really short, a pixie cut. Would extensions still look natural on my head even though my hair is so short? Also, how much do you think it would cost?

Lacey Dutcher: Do you put them in every row of hair or skip a row in between?

King Alyssa: @muffinscute1 generally you want 3-5 inch hair so that you can hide the extensions and don't see any of the clips or glue! depending on how your hair looks you should be able to hide extensions at 2 inches...

kaley wisner: how much would this cost to get done and does this damage your hair?

Nachiel Ashmoon: How long does it stay? b/c i have short hair, and i want to grow it out to my mid back but i don't want to wait 5 years and i want to dye it black...and about how much would it cost.

Luci Llain: where can i get fusions from do you have any websites that will mail the hair to me? Thanks.

chelsea baker: Love it! I work at sallys on san jose and girls are always looking for someone good to do there extentions, ill send them your way!

Casey Noble: Im 13 and i hav been teaching myself how to do hair and extensions on mannequin heads for about 5 years. But I have never done fusions. When you first learned how to do them, were they messy and hard to learn how to do? or were they pretty easy???

Sophia Joyce: I have short hair (to my shoulders) and I have very curly hair. i was wondering if i got long extensions that are curly would they blend in with my natural hair?

D Weezyy: I had the side of my head shaved and I have really long hair except on the ones patch above my ear. It has grown in about two inches or so but I want it long again, could I used these extensions in that missing spot, or is there anything else I could do? I am at a loss. :(

King Alyssa: @Themandyking No... If you go to a high quality salon they should have extensions that they can match to your hair. Many people bring their own extensions so that they know the brand and color. Also it's generally cheaper to bring your own extensions because some salons will charge for each strand that they puti n your hair.

kenicke579: do these still let your hair grow though?

Hannah Hamadi: would fusion hair extension work for short hair?

Rashanda McHardy: how much does this procedure cost?

Kylie Marie: Does this damage your hair in Any way?

AKIYIAKELLY: great video.. How do you get them out? Thx!

Kelly Kristina: Ahh!!! My home, Jacksonville!!! <3

andreaslife: What is the brand of extensions you're using?

Mandy Politte: just for the hair itself ur looking at at least 100 for ur whole head and it really depends if your thick haired or thin haired ,then for someone to put them in for you can range depending on the person.

AMP: How do you remove them after a few months of hair growth/

Mz OhSoTru: Great job

Bigpeanut5081: Hi! If i buy my own off ebay and bring them in to be put in, how much would they charge? Please reply soon, thanks! :)

arhantza selena: how do you clean the tool ?

Angie Bee 🐝: u can buy the tool on ebay from a company anywhere from 10-40 dollars and the hair u can get cheap from a company for like 25 dollars

Cortney Trautsch: i was just wondering how much space you put between ur sections....like not side to side individual strands but when you section our rows above each other...

Grace White: I bought 22in. Remy European I-tip extensions. It's a 200pc set (1g/strand). I'm taking them in to get them done. My hair right now is just above my shoulders and is quite thin :( I'm adding length and volume. How much do you think I will get charged to have them done? In your opinion.

vicente de paula dimas: e maravilhoso estes vidio quem crio isto e um genio olha nao tenho palavra mas agradeço pela oportunidade q este criador nos da de ver este vidio obrigado

Jeleesa Thomas: I have a question what kind of hair to i have to get? as well as where can I get the glue at?

yvette clark: do you know anyone in the dallas area that would do a good job at this ,im looking for someone to get this done for a special occasion

Chelsea King: yes they do, because you are not going directly up to the scalp this will not create tension or stress on the hair, and the hair is bonded with Keratin, which is found naturally in the hair, and once your hair grows depending on how fast it grows the bonds of these extension can be "broken" and re adjusted to accommodate your hair's grow out

Poppy: i was just wondering since if you have extensions how do you brush your hair? and i wash my hair everyday so how would that be with the extensions?

Travis Wise: how did you inter lock the front of your hair ?

Megaeinas: Hi I was windering do you happen to mention where your salon is located? Thank you

brunoport: good job :)

Ja’Ahna: damn when can u do my hair ??? i dont want nobody to mess me up and u did a good job

Melanie9125: Do you use i-tip or u-tip? thanks

Kate Bryce: it stays in for three to six months

Daysitahh: The quality of the video isnt so good but damn , i learnt more than I already knew. Im just looking so I can start doing peoples hair and get money for college

Dania Amiril: and my hair is already thick, you can see that that is a layer between the real hair and the extensions. i feel like the lady sorta conned me :(

Aleu: Someone asked me to be in a hair show where they use this method. Does this work with African American hair? And how do you remove the extensions?

Kiki Strong: How much do you charge? Do you do black hair? And will you travel to Tallahassee

lauren compton: what is the youngest age you would apply on?

Abi Preston: wow you are brilliant!! i would love you to do my hair shame im in england! :( x

Carla West: Do yourself a favour, try out some ZALA clip in extensions, they're so versitle!!! I wear mine in a pony and updos for extra volume and oomph!!

XKLUSIVE Events & More: Hello I love it where do I purchase to tool from?

Rachel Earle: heey, about how much does it cost for those extensions ?

P.S ... It’s Diandra: my hair is really short would I be able to get fusion extensions

mariadoloresful: this is awsome

lexxi rosales: the only problem with doing these kinds of extentions is that they dont hide good, the pull your hair and they fall out to easily, thats why i perfer clip on ones but thats my opinion.

Keja Wynn: is the glue just like sitting on your hair and is it getting tangled up or what like what is this doing to your hair?

Sabrinakitty2011: How much does this kind of thing cost?

Dania Amiril: I have 400 strands on my head, is that normal?

Rebecca Danielle: if you were going to wear your hair half up half down will you see the bonds

Karla Moreno: can you use a flat iron to put them on?

Ryan Clarke: When I cut off all my hair last year I was devastated and instantly regretted the decision buuuut then I was recommended to try ZALA hair extensions by a friend. They literally saveeed my hair. I honestly think it looks better than when it was naturally long. The extensions add amazing volume and have let my hair healthy again. Would highly recommend them to anyone interested in trying extensions!

Jessica Leigh: heyy x i reli want extensions and im getting some im trying to find the best ones are these ones just glue in ones because im confused what are fusion because in this video they look like glue in?! please help! x
