Hb (Hidden Bead Weft) No Visible Connections Micro Links Methods

We demonstrate all things: hair extension for a hair extension salon based in west london, and we cater for all hair textures and we offer around nine different methods of hair extensions. In today's video jade, the salon manager and one of our lead trainers is going to be doing a hb west in store. Hb west is hidden micro beads. These hair extensions are going crazy in the uk because you cannot see any connections or microbeads. So, let's give a little bit of info about hb weft, hair extensions, while you watch jay doing this install so the hb weft, hair extensions and the difference between these and la weave or braidless weave, hair extensions is that you cannot see any connections. Also, i find that the micro or the wefts they lie a little bit flatter on the head. So how it works is that you lay down the base of micro beads, you put a track underneath the micro beads and you put a track above the micro beads. It'S not kind of rocket science. If you know how to do hair extensions, however, attaching the corners and stitching down the corners can be a little bit tricky. But these hair extensions are really simple and easy for you to complete a maintenance or a refit around the four week mark, because the beads are in the middle and you're going to stitch either side of the bead. You literally can just loosen out that micro bead and slide it up to the back of the top of the client's head, and that is how you would complete your refit. So for stylist. This is a really good hair extensions method, because it makes your job very easy. However, the install can be a little bit tricky now. The reason why a lot of people like this one over braidless, wefts or la weave is because the bead is hidden so that when you tie your hair up in a hairband, you don't see that glistening shiny microbead. Now imagine if your hair is jet black but you're an afro hair, textured person, so you've got natural hair, the micro bead, when you lift it up, because our hair doesn't shine as much sometimes if you've got fine hairline the microbead becomes visible, whereas with these hair Extensions, you cannot see the microbead at all, so people will really kind of be looking and thinking what hair extensions have she got? Why is she able to put that up in a hairband? You cannot see the visible connections and i think that is why it's so popular in the uk anyway, i'm gon na stop talking and let you guys watch this in store. So here we're just discussing section in because i do my sections a lot smaller. So, for every one micro bead that jade has i do my hair. My i would probably put two micro beads in the actual place um, but because her sections are quite large, all the way around there is no tension on the left or the right hand. Side of the micro bead, so there isn't any kind of issue with it putting on the client's hair. So, as you can see, she's got a very dark root and our hair extensions are not like balayage or got dark roots, so jade had to custom colour. The root area, so that when the wind blows and everything we want these hair extensions to be as seamless as possible, and although we're not a color based salon, we don't offer color for clients actual hair. We can customize the hair extensions for people and we don't want clients walking out looking crazy or coming back and saying look, everyone can see my hair extensions, so jade's done a custom color for her, while the color is processing. Jade continued to put all of the micro beads in so that, once the hair is washed and blow-dried, she can just crack on with sewing it onto the client's hair, meaning that she wouldn't be sitting around for a really long time. Hello, stranger! I actually forgot to turn back on the ring light or jade forgot to turn back on the ring light, because i can see myself in the background um. So this video here is a little bit dark, but on the next track it will be a little bit more clear, but i just wanted you guys to see jade's kind of stitching technique. So here we realize that the ring light wasn't on and then we turn it back on so that it's a little bit more clear for you to see, don't hesitate. No, don't you um with me tonight. You can see a little bit more clearly how jade does her stitching technique so for the wefts or the beads that are at the corners she actually stitches through it three times, but for the other one she stitches over the left. Well, both the left and the right hand side of that micro bead. I believe that she does it on the corner ones, just so that it's added security and that the weft is not going to become loose away from the micro beads here, we're showing what it looks like when she puts it up in a ponytail, so that you Can see it's really important about the color matching if the root was blonde, that would look terrible when you put it up in a hairband and you'd. Be able to see it really clearly here, jade is just going on to her second row. What'S lovely is that this lady actually only had three rows installed, so she had six tracks in total and it creates such beautiful volume. So you don't need to go overboard. I have seen some people online and they kind of do like four or five rows or they'll stack, two west below and two wefts above for us. We find that that's a little bit too heavy. I would not put four tracks on one kind of hb row. I would just add an additional row, so i would never do the two tracks above and two tracks below. That'S just. I just find it a bit too heavy on the hair unless you're really consistent with getting a refit done and you're going to come in. Maybe every like four weeks and have that removed and refitted. So it's on fresh hair. I find that that would be just far too heavy. So this is her hair. Once it's all been straightened out. Jade is then gon na kind of put some soft layers and frame her face and then she's gon na style it for her. It'S been a minute and by the way, so after putting these soft layers in with a razor rather than actual scissors, jade then goes in and put some soft kind of jade's classic soft curls, and this is her final.
