Hey you guys welcome back to my channel if you're new here welcome and if you're already subscribed. Thank you so much for tuning in so in today's video I'll, be showing you how I achieve this look. I installed micro links on myself and I cannot wait to show you how it's done, especially for textured hair. So if you have textured her like me and you've ever wondered how on Earth micro links could work on our hair, I'm super excited to be showing you how I installed it as well as the do's and don'ts just in case you are about to get it Installed yourself, so without further Ado, let's get on to the videos, I will say that if you're trying to get micro links - and you have no idea how to do it, I would highly recommend that you go to a licensed professional to get it done because, like It takes practice, and I would just say that you know practice makes perfect if you have like a double mirror situation, where you can see the back of your head. That would be great like if you are not comfortable with doing your own hair, then I highly recommend that you go to a licensed professional to get it done. Okay, so, basically, if you are someone who is thinking about getting micro links - and you have textured, hair, coily, curly, hair and you're wondering like, can we even get micro links? So the answer is yes, you can totally get micro links. Yes, you can still maintain healthy, hair um. It'S it's great actually and I'm gon na tell you why this is in no particular order so number one. I would highly recommend that you get hair that closely resembles your texture or closely resembles your curl type. You can toss and flip your hair from side to side. You can put it up in a high ponytail and a high bun if your hair is naturally textured and you get like a silky kind of extension, then you're going to have to keep that up, because all of your natural hair is out like right. Now. All of my natural hair is out, and if this were straight, I would have to like kind of keep my natural hair straight, which is something that I'm sure many of us do not want to do because listen when you curl match when you match your natural Hair, when I tell you this style is going to be a seamless Breeze like just the possibilities are endless like I could go in and do a twist out with this, so the hair I'm wearing is BM extensions in Glam coil. I will be leaving the link down below. This is three bundles of 22 inches. I have like a little bit left over of the third bundle, so you'll need essentially you'll need three bundles. If you're gon na do this length, I did dye the hair I'll like insert a little clip um, showing you how I basically dyed it. I dye the ends like this sort of like brown color, and then I went in with some like caramelish goldish highlights just to kind of give it some Dimension, it's just so nice to be able to get the look without having to chemically alter my natural hair. Like I can see what I look like like with um the color and I didn't even have to color my hair, which is awesome. The next tip that I would say if you're considering micro links is, you definitely want to have some length with your natural hair. Like it helps, if you have some length, if you have short natural hair, then I mean yes, you could do it, you could technically do it, but when your hair has some length, it actually makes it look a little bit more seamless like it makes the style. Look way more seamless, you want essentially your hair to kind of blend and meld with the hair, because what you don't want is if your hair is really short. You don't want your short pieces way up here and then the extension super long like that's not going to be cute. If I pull my hair out in the Fret right like this, is my natural hair. What I did was, I kind of like cut some face. Framing layers into the extensions to make sure that it, like you, know, sort of Blends seamlessly, but if your hair is super short like it just it's just not gon na give like you know what I mean also you're gon na have a little bit of trouble. Putting it up into high buns and ponies, if that's what you're into, if that's what you're wanting to do so, I would say kind of want your hair stretched to be about at the chin, because when I stretch this down, my hair stops about at my chin. If I pull my natural hair back down here, it's pretty much a little below my collarbone, almost at armpit length, and so that really does help. So another thing that I kind of wanted to point out with micro links is that, yes, you can still adhere to a healthy hair care. Regimen like if you're trying to grow your hair out and get on like a healthy hair regimen. You can totally still stick to that, while your hair is in the style, which is really the beauty of this style. Honestly, I love the fact that I was basically able to go into the shower and co-wash my hair, I literally just wet my hair in the shower, put a bunch of conditioner in my hands and ran it through the hair and all in my natural hair too. So essentially, I did like a quick little co-wash if you're struggling with putting together a healthy hair regimen that helps you achieve the results that you want. If you've been wanting long longer, hair, healthier, hair, more hydrated, hair, I've actually already put together a three month. Regimen specifically for you, I will leave that in the description box below, as well as my ultimate guidebook for healthier longer, more hydrated natural hair that will be in the description box as well. So let me go ahead and talk about how I actually installed it. The first thing you're going to want to do is work on stretched hair. You do not want to install micro links when your natural hair is in its curly kinky State, absolutely not when you're trying to slide the hair through the length you want the hair to be stretched so that it can seamlessly slide into the links. I actually steamed. My hair, my hair, was so hydrated before even doing this style. I'M going to show some clips of when I steamed my hair. It was so just like full of hydration, and it was just like primed and ready to go in the style once my hair was completely blown dry. I then went in section to my section and parted little sections and installed the micro links. Once you have a row of links in you're, basically going to sandwich your links in between, so you have a weft underneath the length and a weft on top of the link, so your hair is floating in the middle. If that makes sense, um and that's how I did it, why? Because I want to be supremely seamless, I wanted my hair to be nestled, nice and neat inside of the extension to just get like maximum blending. Basically, so, when you're going to sew with each box of a section, you're going to have two different points, where you're going to be inserting the needle. So if this is a box you're going to insert the needle on one side of the link and then you're going to insert the needle on the other side of the link and that's how you're going to be sewing. So essentially, your sections are your base for sewing, basically because there's no braid so you're not going through the links you're not going through the links with the needle, absolutely not you're, going on either side of the link. If that makes sense like, if the link is right here, you're gon na insert your needle on this side and then insert your needle on that side. You get me so yeah. You just need to do that row by row that I left out some leave out and that's it. This is a good video. Yes, it was. I absolutely love this style. This is day one of a wash and go stay tuned for the next video, because in that video, I'm going to be showing you how I actually Define these curls. So if you have any more questions feel free to leave them in the comments below. If you have been kind of apprehensive about trying micro links on textured hair, let this be the video that encourages you to try it. I hope you guys enjoyed. Let me know what you think in the comments don't forget to check the links Down Below in the description box, and I will see you in my next video

KN C: Your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS ! ❗️ I can't wait to try this!

Renee monroe: Will this work for fine hair also?

Sovereigness: I’m honestly wondering what the process for color was? It’s so subtle, and I’m hoping to achieve something similar for my vacation hair. Did you soft bleach? Or was this a specific color?
