Hi, I'm Kate skin. If you guys don't know - and today I wanted to talk about hair extensions, so I've been wearing hair extensions for about five years now, but I've been wearing clipping her extensions from a store called pink age. I'Ve been a loyal customer since 2014, and I've tried all different kinds of hair colors from brown to red Brown to like darker belong to this blonde, and they always seem to have a color. But one thing I don't like about it is that I have to take it off every night when they get home and sometimes in the middle of the day it would come off because there are clippings they're, just temporary. So I've decided that for the first time in five years that I will try permanent hair extensions and I've never done this before. I just always thought it was just um too much money all at once. I was like eh I'll just deal with my temporary ones, but I am kind of sick and tired of taking off my hair extensions, getting new ones every couple of months, because in the end it's the same price. I just pay less at once so right now. This is my real hair, all natural real hair. It'S not! That short. As you know, a lot of people get hair extensions because they have short hair. Those people tend to get permanent, hair extensions, because you know you can get long hair in an hour or two, which is great. You can have any hair. You want like this. If you have a money, honey who I know it takes a lot of managing from what I've researched and what I've heard, because you can't get tangled or else it'll be really hard to take out and you'll lose a lot of hair or if you someone pulls It I don't know if it will just come off. I don't know I've never done it before so I'm gon na scare. But you know it's not like I'm gon na fight anybody and get my hair pulls. I mean I don't know my neighbors are being kind of rude, so maybe no - and I heard that you have to sleep with your hair tied and that you have to shampoo and wash your hair in a specific way. I don't know if I'm ready for all that, but I want it and I've made reservation already, so I'm gon na do it today. For me, I'm doing it not only because I want to make it a little bit longer, but mostly for a volume. I want my hair, a voluminous. You know, I'm so sorry for doing that, so there are different kinds of hair extensions in terms of how its applied and in terms of the length, so I want the 60 centimeters out of the 45, 50 and 60. I want the longest one because you know go big or go home and in terms of the volume, I'm not really sure how much they're gon na do for me I'll go there and decide if I want to add on more strands which adds an additional cost. Obviously, I think 45 is around here. Maybe 50 is like here and sixties like the waist like this. I'M not sure I just make that up. Why I think from the pictures I've seen and on the blogs I've read. That seems about right. I want it to be long, so I'm sure on Instagram you've seen pictures of me with long hair, but that is extensions equipment. Extensions um that I take out every night and let's talk about pricing, which is another big factor in whether you want to get hair extensions or not. Pricing is very different, based on where you go, but please, I'm gon na go to is called a Remi shop. There'S one in whom de there's one Indonesian and I'm gon na go to the one and Dhoni on, because I don't know it's just easier to get to it's one bus ride from the research I did in Korea. They seem generally seem to be anywhere from 150,000 won to about 400 to 450 thousand won, which is roughly not exactly but roughly estimated to 150 US dollars to 450 u.s. dollars again, that's roughly, but if you have a different hair color that is not on the Regular list, then you have to pay extra and if you want to add strands then again you have to pay extra. So I'm going into this thinking that and would have spent at least 400 okay. So there are two types of hair extensions, permanent hair extensions. There are the flat tips and the braided ones, so the flat tips are a lot cheaper because they use a kind of protein thing to make it stick to your hair or ask the braided ones. It takes a lot manual labor for them to braid each strand. On so that, obviously takes more work and is more expensive, so the pricing range from what I've seen was about. It was about 200 to 250 thousand won for sixty centimeters for flat tips and, on the other hand, sixty centimetres braided would be around four hundred to four hundred fifty centimeters. What four hundred to four hundred fifty thousand won. So the price is very different. Almost double the price, so I guess there are pros and cons about it. I think I want to do the braids because I think it lasts longer and something about braiding. It seems more secure. I'M kind of excited I'm gon na get the braid at sixty centimeters. I think they braid it in like in here like in layers, I'm kind of scared that if I you know two braids or something - and I flip my hair down the middle, that it's gon na like show or if can I tie my hair up in a High ponytail like will it show then, so I had a lot of questions that I'm not sure about, but I will find out once I get there I'll, let you know the pros and cons of having permanent, hair extensions and clip-in hair extensions, because what, if taking It out every night and putting it in every morning is better than how I have to shampoo my hair and managing permanent hair extensions. I don't know I'll, let you know I mean I've heard that it can last anywhere from three months to six months. If you take care of it well and I will take care of it well I'll, try very hard. Oh and my hair is so weird right now, like this thing, like I don't know, what's going on cuz, I got bangs and sometimes I wear them as things, but today I decided not to so I just but anyways I'll. Keep you guys posted on my hair extensions, so follow me. You [ Laughter, ] hello. I am back the lighting changed because it's been about two hours. I started up doing my hair done around 2:20 ish baby and it takes me 30 minutes to get home. Let'S say it took me about an hour and a half to get my hair done. As you can tell it's not that much longer than my original hair, I actually changed to 50 centimetres instead of 60, like I planned because I saw the 60 and it was super long and I want to wear it. My hair straight because I haven't been able to wear my hair straight with extensions with clipping extensions for a long time, so I wanted to wear it straight and I think 60 straight would be a little bit too long. But now how about I'm thinking? I kind of wish I got 60 because I think it's still pretty to be super long and have it be straight, I don't know I'm kind of regretting, maybe next time, but also it's because of the price I added some hair. I added some volume strands because the ones that came with it wasn't enough. So I wanted to add a bit more. I added one third, more ouch and because I wanted to add it, if I add a date on 60 centimeters, which is which was actually 450,000 won, not 400, then it would be like a lot more, and I was just thinking about it. I was like. Maybe I should just stay within my budget: try not to exceed a 500,000 won and I just got fifty centimeters, which is not bad. Actually, this is like the length that is oh, no, it just I'm happy with this length and there's more here and I added 1/3 more of hair, which is great, and it's really soft the people there were so nice. They were just talking and laughing and having so much time so having so much fun the whole time um. I can't stop touching it because it's so like soft. The quality of this hair is actually better than the quality of my real hair. I'M not supposed to use shampoo on the bottom. They told me not to he told me only to shampoo my scalp and aza shampoo runs down like that's when it kind of washes this bottom part. I guess, but I do that anyways um, even before I got my extensions, I always just never. I never shampooed my bottom. I only did treatment or conditioner, but that's how I'm supposed to do it, and I have to use purple shampoo a little bit because, as you can tell, my real hair is a little bit more ash tone and a little bit more platinum blonde than this bottom, Which is a little bit more yellow, so I got a purple shampoo, just the bottom, just to even it out a little bit, but I think I mean, if you see me in real life: it's not that noticeable, but maybe in this camera it's a little bit Noticeable, you can kind of see the difference, but thankfully they did have my hair color, which is great. A lot of people have this hair color in Korea. I guess so it works. But overall it was a really good experience. I'M excited to see how I can manage this, but hopefully I can take good care of it. They did give me instructions like they did give me extent like they're gon na give me explanation on how to take care of it that I just ripped in half um. If you do touch it, you can feel a little bit of bumps but yeah. I can feel it oh. I wish I can kind of show you a little bit. Oh! Is that bad? Oh yes, you could see. This is a braided part right there. This is just a lot of these and the bands are black. I don't really like that. I wish they could have thought of like a little blonde. Like all look at these little strings or whatever I wish there were more my hair color, so you can't see it as much, but I don't know why they give me a block but anyways. I'M very excited to rock my longer straighter, more of a luminous hair anyways. This was my experience. Getting my hair done. I am satisfied. I have a feeling that I'm gon na always need to have hair extensions. Now until my real hair grows out - and maybe when I stop mmm bleaching, my hair - maybe when I go back to my natural hair, color or dark or hair color. But thank you for watching.
