Hi guys welcome back to a house of hair UK hope. Everyone is safe and well in today's video, I'm gon na be showing you how you can custom make your own micro link hair extensions using it some kinky curly hair. So I'm going to show you how this can be done using two different types of hair extensions, few tools and then how you could also do this using just some basic household hair straighteners. The tools that you're going to need are going to be mini scissors, keratin, glue, you're, going to need your hair and then some small micro beads. Just that you can test the size of each strand that you make the hair that I'm going to be using is the kinky course a bundle of hair from a uk-based company that is called all my black girls or put their link in my description bar. So they have three different texture ranges and we are going to be using the kinky course that also have kinky curly and a kinky straight texture, so I'll just check the weight of the hair and it's a hundred grams and I'm gon na jump straight. In with my first hair extensions, blue tall - and this is kind of the traditional do tool that I use and make tips for sometimes or I recheck clients when they come in for their hair, extensions maintenance and the glue is kind of worn out. So this glue gun is one that I use all the time. So what I'm gon na start by doing is just cutting all of my strands, so I'm only going to use like quarter of the bundle just for demonstration purposes, but I would normally cut a full bundle so that I can get started with it. And because this is curly hair, it's already kind of defined and set out exactly the size that you want. So it's really easy for you to judge how big each strand is gon na be. This part is really important to understand that all wet bundles are folded over at the top, so they can double stitch it so because it's folded over at the top, you end up with very very short strands. You want to make sure you remove those short strands. You do not want them in the glue, otherwise the hair will start to shed. So you want to cut off the top of your way, take off all of those small strands, and then you can start with glue in so be very careful when you're putting your keratin glue bonds inside your hot tools. Any of these hot tools, because you're doing it by hand - and you could burn yourself. So you want to start by putting some of the keratin pellets of glue inside the glue gun, leave it for a couple of seconds and let it warm and then you're going to clamp it over. The top of your strand. Keep clamping keep clamping; it rotate turn it around and make sure that the whole of that tip is fully saturated. With the keratin view before it falls down snip off the top and quickly rub it in between your fingers before it actually cools down. So because I used to do this quite often, I can already judge the size of each strand, but for anyone who, starting this as a new service, or you want to do it for yourself - have your 5 millimeter beads and your free millimeter beads on hand, so That you can judge the size of each strand. This is a really good service. If you are looking for a business that you want to do on the side, because this is a very tedious and long process - it's nice for you too! If you want it to have kind of a side job where you're just sitting in front of the TV - and you want to make strands for people, it's a really good side business, we used to offer it in the salon and make quite good money from it. When you couldn't get, I tip strands for all different texture hair, so the second tool that I'm going to be using is a similar tool. So it's all keratin glue, hair extensions, it's more for installing the hair extensions as opposed to making tips, but they can be used just the same. So this tool is very, very hot, I'm not sure if it's because it is new and the other one is quite old, but it's really hot. So if you do purchase this one, I've got it from Amazon just for the purposes of this video. If you do purchase this, then be really careful when you're putting the keratin pellets on top of it, they melt very quickly and the tool itself leaves their hair very hot. I will leave a link below in the description box, for where I got both of these hair extensions glue tools from what this one here was from Amazon and the other one was from a different store. So I will leave a link below the both of them when using this one, I definitely required more glue palette. So I put around 5 to 6 keratin pellets on the actual tube, and when I've done this, I had to do it twice or as the other one. I could do it once and it was just fully saturated. This will hide it a little bit more times. Passing over and squeezing that glue onto the hair for all of the strands to be fully saturated, I'm just going to show you guys how you can also make keratin a glue in hair extensions if you wanted to make flat tip ones and have them glued in Your clients hair - and this is how you will do it - I still roll it all together and then I go back in with the hot glue gun and I flatten it out, and this is how you can make tips or the keratin at gluon hair extensions. You roll them for micro links and keep them flat for keratin bombs. The third tool that I'm gon na be using is just a normal set of low-cost hair straighteners. I believe they go up to 130 degrees and if you guys don't want to buy kind of any specialist hair extensions kind of tools because you're just making them for yourself, then these are also really really useful. So just get a really basic, cheap, low cost set of hair straighteners and you can put your actual pellets inside it once it's hot. Let it melt slightly and then you can just do the exact same motion, so you want to completely saturate the hair extensions with it. You want to rotate them to make sure they're fully saturated with that glue, and then you can twist it and make it into itit strand or you can make them into flat tips for keratin glue in hair extension. It'S exactly the same concept but you're just using a hair straighteners and you don't have to buy any specialist type of tools. So I just wanted to quickly show you guys how you can make mini. I tip strands as well, so I actually just saturate it a normal-size bond and then before it actually cooled down. So while the glue was still hot, I quickly separated it and rolled both of them. So then I created a mini tip. So now I'm going to show you it with the 3 millimeter sized beads. These are the mini tip size and then I'm gon na also show you it next to the normal size one. So if you've got a client who's got quite fine hair, then you can do mini strands at the front and you can do your normal sized strands around the back. So you want to wait about 20 to 40 minutes to wait for the hair extensions to fully cool down and for the keratin glue to get quite hard and stiff before you install them in someone's hair. So I'm just quickly going to demonstrate to you guys that all of the strands that I created they quite easily fit inside the 5 millimeter beads. So after I brushed out the hair. This is how the hair looked. So I was just playing around a bit a little bit because I really want to kind of test out and sample this hair on someone's head. So I just wanted to put a little bit gel in it to see if it redefines the curls again. I will try these hair extensions either in the invisible flat weft all the micro links on someone who actually has 4c coyly or tight curl hair, but I just wanted to play around with it a little bit. I hope this video was useful in showing you guys. Three different tools that you can use to make your own my cravings on microwave range trans.
