Microlinks I Healthy Hair Extensions (2019)

Hi loves! Today I'm going to give you a full rundown on my Micro-links! Micro-links are a healthier alternative to other hair extension services. I've been wearing them for about 4 years now and absolutely love them!

I get my links done by my stylist Tori at Salon Bar- if you're in the Atlanta area I highly recommend hitting her up for a consultation. I also linked a thorough FAQ on the links below.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today I am going to tell you guys all about my micro links. So basically what micro links are. They are a healthier alternative to extensions. So I don't know if you guys have seen like taken extensions. All that kind of stuff - so I am actually gon na - take you guys with me to my hair salon to meet my seller story and she's gon na literally go through the whole process of blowing out of my hair and then actually tightening my legs. So, to run it back a little bit, my actual hair is connected to an extension on a bead, some really freakin hard. For me to explain honestly, that's why I want to take excess Alana's show you guys how it actually like the whole process and whatnot, and then I wanted to show you guys the process for blowing my hair up to show you that it doesn't like pull the Hair out, when you blow it out because it it's only connected to a bead, it's not like any glue or tape or anything which I think that's why it's a healthier alternative. I am going to link her like FAQ down below, which will kind of give you guys a little bit more of an idea of as far as like the process and all of that awesome I can't really speak on, but what I didn't want to speak on Was the actual like upkeep, I wrote it down actually runs out my little notebook, so first, I'm gon na talk about like upkeep as far as like showering. How often I go in for an adjustment and then actually doing my hair and then I'm gon na talk about how long I've been doing in how long I have them in a first how healthy it is, and then I'm gon na talk about the cost and How much hair you need and all of that mind you a lot of this is contingent upon your hair texture in your hair type. The upkeep goes. You just want to make sure like when you're showering you shower, like normal, you gon na, make sure you're getting in between your hair and getting in between your legs to make sure you're like really exfoliating and you're. Like scrubbing, I have a lot of dandruff, so I have to make sure I'm not like getting all that then just leaving all that, then just in my legs, it's very hard to kind of like not like completely get in there. Just because you can't see yourself, but just do your best to just try like exfoliating scalp and really like clean it, because you do need to get under your hair and your legs and then, as far as the adjustment, I go every three weeks so, depending on Your like whether how loose they are really I go every three weeks I used to go every two weeks when I just didn't really know how to like, keep them like upkeep them and not like ink on them and pull them that just really you just go At least every three weeks, but two weeks, if you need to as far as like doing your hair, you just want to make sure like it isn't like. I'M gon na leave my hair right now, like it's not gon na. Your extensions are going to come out, but at the same time like I said you go, get them tightened every few weeks. So you want to make sure like when you're curling, your hair and you're straightening your hair and you're, not just like pulling on your hair, but just be gentle with your hair. Okay, so how long I've been doing it and have a healthy? I personally think it is for me um. It'S still. Extensions is end of the day, so obviously the healthiest thing is wearing your hair, but this is like, when I've taken my extensions out, it's nice, because when I have long hair I don't really put heat to my hair. So when I took my extensions out, the only thing I can say it's a little bit thinner, but not like nothing that noticeable and it might even just be because I'm so used to having so much hair in my head. It never like really took away from the integrity of my hair, never pulled my hair out and nothing like crazy. Like that, that's what I love about them. I'Ve been doing it for maybe like when I start like 2015 season. So I'm like three four years now. Maybe I want to be three and a half years now I've been doing them. They normally laugh, probably anywhere from like four to five months, um, maybe three months. I only get them done like every four and a half months. The process when you first get them done, it's normally like I want to say, she's got really fast at doing them, but I mean that takes up time. We like to three hours, I'm not mistaken, I'm not sure. Don'T quote me on that. Like I said, I'm gon na, like that, I should you down below as far as how much it cost. So, if you do a full head of extensions mind you, you only have to get this done like every four to five months. It'S like a little bit under $ 300 and if you do half a head, I believe it's like too factual, like hair and then obviously the upkeep as far as going and getting it done if $ 25 every three weeks. So it is a little bit of a pricier service, but it's just like when you get your hair dyed or you do anything else like that. I personally think it's worth it. I'Ve been doing it for years now, and I love it alright guys, and that is really it. I hope I answered all of the most like like important questions for the most part. I wish to go to the salon with me night though, but she can show you how she tightens my hair and then she's gon na blow my hair out, if you guys like this video, if you have any other questions or comments that I may have mitt, Then please leave a comment down below other than that. Please don't forget to use me help them hit that subscribe button and yeah. I will see you guys at the salon: [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ],
