Hey beauties: this is Sam from instant Beauty just at home today and I decided to film a quick video, but it's a very important video. I'Ve actually gotten quite a few requests to make this one. So this is the video how to wash your hair. When you have extensions in, I know it can be a little bit tricky, because now you have all this extra hair and all these attachment methods and you're not really sure what to do. But it is quite simple and I'm just going to outline a few quick tips for you. So first thing to keep in mind is that you don't want to wash your hair frequently. I'Ve said this plenty of times and lots of other videos, but it is an important thing to worry about. You want to try to train your hair and wash it as least frequently as possible, so every other day every 3 days is best. Another thing you want to keep in mind is that you want to remove all the tangles before you actually do wash your hair. So if you, if your hair, is quite tangley, you should very carefully comb them out before you step into the shower just to avoid any excess tangling. And, of course you want to avoid the bond. So, no matter what type of extensions you have in whether it be fusion tape, micro ring, etc. You want to avoid where the attachment method is when you're scrubbing, so you don't want to scrub very aggressively in where the bond is, and I will show you how to avoid that. Ok, so let's assume that you are ready to go step into the shower you've. Already combed out your hair and your hair is ready to get washed. The most important thing to do is make sure that you're standing straight and that you don't have your head flipped over, because that can cause extra tangling and it'll be very difficult for you to maneuver your hands in your hair. If your heads flipped upside down, so the best thing to do is to be standing in the shower once you have gotten your hair wet in the shower, you obviously give yourself some shampoo in your hand. Since you have a lot more hair, you probably need more shampoo, but the good news is, you would really only be scrubbing your roots, so I've I have in some weft extensions, and I just wanted to show you guys, basically where they are so they are right Here and for the most part, when people get extensions, they don't have extensions very high. They kind of stop right around that area. So when you're washing your hair, you have it wet, and you put your shampoo in your in your hands and what you're doing is you're scrubbing up here. So the parts that get oil later is your scalp and the most important part to wash is around your face. Obviously so you don't look like you have greasy hair, so you want to scrub all around your ears and around your ear, your crown and in the back and stop when you start to feel the Bonnies, don't scrub where the bonds are so once this is all Lathered, what you do is you just sort of bring the shampoo down and you just kind of caress your hair and rub it. You no need to rub the actual hair extensions themselves. They do not produce oils, so they don't get really greasy. So a little bit of cleansing shampoo is all it really needs, and once that is done, then all you have to do is rinse your hair and now it's time for a conditioner. So just the most important thing to think about with conditioner. Is you don't want to put conditioner right on the bond in most cases, whether it be the fusion, the tapes even the Rings, because conditioner can cause the extensions to slip or if you do have fusions can kind of ruin the glue a little bit and soften The glue basically and your you could experience shedding, so you want to avoid conditioner on the attachment method, saying that, though it is very important to condition your hair just to keep the moisture in and to keep, keep them looking nice and shiny and healthy. So once you apply it once it's time to apply conditioner what you do is you kind of start Midway, and then you apply your conditioner as liberally as you want. There is really no rule put as much as you want just try to avoid the bonds and then, once that's done, rinse thoroughly. Make sure that you don't leave any shampoo or conditioner residue in your extensions, because you can find that that can make your hair feel. Itchy or your scalp feel itchy itchy, and that's usually the reason why? Because there's build-up so try to rinse thoroughly, so once you get out of the shower, it is important not to wrap your hair up like normal, like you normally would most people do that after the shower they take the towel and go to and then they wrap It all up, and then they leave it for, like you know an hour, sometimes they get ready to other things with extensions. It is important not to do that. Firstly, it is important to instead of rubbing this vigorously, you just want to Pat your hair dry. Try to remove all the excess moisture very, very carefully, try not to be rough at this stage, then, once your hair is dry enough, I recommend applying a really good leave-in conditioner, not to the bonds but to the bottom and then combing your hair up very carefully And then drying your hair right away. It is super important to dry your hair right away, especially if you have the fusion extensions, leaving your hair wet for a long time can cause damage to the glue and again I'll, make your extensions, possibly fall out or shed. So drying your hair right after it's super important at the very least, if you can't dry the entire thing dry, the roots so that the roots aren't sitting soaking wet. So that's about it for how to wash your hair with hair extensions. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask you, can leave your comments down below you can email a email us at instant underscore Beauty at live CA or you can visit our website for many more tips. Instant Beauty, CA, um, but that's about it, but I hope this video helped a lot of people and - and I guess we'll see you soon - thanks guys bye,

Theresa Breithaupt: So I've been doing exactly this with my micro bead extensions and I'm getting a really itchy scalp and a tone of dandruff and build up at the bonds... it looks so nasty. What should I do?!

Nina: This was so informational! Thank you, I just got bead extensions and they said to wait almost a week before washing it (I got color too) I want to do it right.

hawkerfels: I haven't had mine for long, just a couple of weeks so I've only washed them a few times but I haven't been drying them right away! I was told I could leave them to air dry but I thought it seemed dangerous that they were staying wet for so many hours - sometimes the whole day and overnight at the thickest part of the hair. I will make sure to dry them right after from now on in. Maybe that's why my head has been itchy the last few days.

God loves us: Sew in Weft with vietnamese hair straight raw hair its just so effortless no need to straight in just was normally no tangle no shading feels like ur own hair no heating the most amazing extention ive ever got :)

Jesus saves: Thank you. This answers a lot of my questions.

幽霊Ghost: Thanks for this video! May i ask when blow drying micro ring extensions is it best to use cool heat?

Jackie Hillard: Omg thank u so much. I been wearing itip extensions for about 5 yrs now and no one has ever told me how to wash them correctly as you have. Very easy to understand. So thank u. Literally about to go wash my hair correctly lol. I do want to know does water temperature matter?

Custard Cream: im getting my first micro beads Wednesday this has been so helpful i really want to make sure i can prevent them from any damage :)

Mehak Bansal: I workout twice each day (morning and evening) and I shower both times after working out. It makes my hair sweaty and greasy, which makes it necessary to wash it at least once each day. I'm planning on getting fusions next week. Will they fall out if I continue washing my hair everyday?

Casey559x1 1: Can you use a hair dryer on your extensions?

Maya Roque: Omg you are so beautiful! LOVE your videos

kay Kay: i've had tape ins for 2.5 months, with no re-tape yet and have washed every day with a special shampoo and have been very careful with my conditioner. I must wash daily as I produce alot of oil, and I am one of those drippy sweat people daily in the gym. Yes, I know Im causing more oil production with the wash and not training my oil to not. I am wondering does anyone know if rinsing with really hot water is OK to do daily even if I trained my hair to not be washed with shampoo daily??

Anahita Jaushan: I have some questions: 1. I guess I will wear hair extensions for the first time this year. I don't know what kind of hair extensions I should wear, because I really have thin hair with little thick baldness on the left and right sides of my head and on the back of my head. 2. What kind of products should I use after washing my hair with extension? I always use hair oil. I don't know if hair oil is bad for the hair extensions.

Marie Petite: How can you avoid when putting oil treatment, hair conditioners, and hair mask? In other words, your hair will look wose than before when removed.

Katie Louise Arter: Do you think the herbal essence naked range with 0% silicone is good for micro ring extensions?

Amber Lynn: I usually only wash my hair about 1 time a week, is that ok if I were to get extensions? Or should I shampoo more?

Hannah Anderson: Most people like myself cannot stand to not take a shower every day, I would recommend a shower cap for the in between hair washing , I can go 4 days without a shampoo and use a dry shampoo spray like Babtiste in between. I have the same extensions like you do, 18 inch.

M.M. Olsen: What shampoo would you recommend for tape hair extensions?

VIDA MARAVILLA: I JUST GOT MICRORING EXTENSIONS AND MY SCALP HAS BEEN ITCHING LIKE CRAZY!! ON TOP UNDERNEATH NEAR MY NECK PLEASE HELP WHAT CAN I DO!?!! I'VE ONLY HAD THEM A WEEK :(

Marie Plunkett: So I got hair extensions today for the first time. Wanted baylage look. Blonde extensions and tape show through my real hair. Can I color my extensions while they are glued in?

Angela Read: Well I know absolutely NOTHING about hair, only that I have some & I wash it every day or every other day depending on how dirty it feels, usually every day, because my hair looks like I've dipped it in a pan of oil after 12/15hrs, so that is where my knowledge ends, but I had to just say that I have been trying to grow my hair for the best part of 50yrs, MY HAIR DOES NOT GROW, well obviously it does, but they say hair grows at about 1cm to 1.5cms per month, but I am here as testament to say NO IT BLOODY DOESN'T, I'll be lucky if my hair grows 1 centimetre in 6 months!! .. I don't get it cut to take the dead ends off as I'd be taking 1 step forward & 1 step back, so its pretty useless to do that, but saying that, I have had a few drastic cuts in my life when I got so sick of having to wash my hair every day before I went to work, I've had micro hair extensions where the whole of my hair was plaited into micro braids & I had lots of them, but I had to take them out 10 days later as they were having a reaction on my skin, that was a complete bust & a waste of almost £200!, I'd love to know where I went wrong. I bought the shampoo & conditioner that my hair dresser recommended, I didn't wash it every day & when I did wash it, it was a nightmare. all my roots were all tangled, I physically COULD NOT brush or comb my hair, as the braids couldn't be brushed, but my scalp was a right mess after all my braids were taken out, it took ages to get it back to normal, well as normal as my hair gets. I had to buy a month's supply of hair treatment from my salon. I currently have some clip in extensions, which is the only thing I'll do to my hair, I don't get to have them in for very long, as they fall out, which is highly embarrassing when you're out with friends, which is why I would love to glue them in, but I am petrified of putting glue in my hair when its taken me this long just to get it shoulder length. So IF I decide to have some extensions glued in, how do you combat the problem of your roots getting messed up AGAIN??

Jeff Abraham: I workout on my elliptical 4-5 times a week running 2-5 miles and am a hot mess -dripping of sweat when done. In your video you advised not to wash your hair regularly...any suggestions???

sakshi arora: After having micro ring extension, is it possible to tie up hair, or making buns? Do these damage the real hair anyhow? If someone has wavy hairs, so how they can manage the extensions, as they both look awkward together?

Marie Petite: At some point when you remove your extensions, how is the health of your natural hair? Can you go without the extensions? What about hair treatments like oil and conditioners?

Shanny Newby: Im planning on getting hair extensions, leaning to nano rings due to I think a weft will be revealed when styling more. I have medium thickness hair that is around my collar bone in length. I wash my hair daily due my hair can be quite greasy, is there anything I can do to help and decide?

Melissa Boomer: I got the glue in one's 3 days ago and I'm ready to finally wash my hair. But I don't have a blow dryer is that okay please let me know

Amanda Gaffney: Thank you.Ive heard that coconut water shampoo is good.Have you heard of this?

Emma Cahill: I am thinking of getting them and as I have wavy hair which is really nice I usually let my hair dry natural as if I blow dry goes frizzy . So what should I do thank you in advance

Evy Wolf: I got my first tape in extensions recently and what is a goo brush for them? I have my regular brush but I just been brushing them carefully

Haley Dashon: I have micro link extensions, do i blow dry my hair or let it air dry?

343elle: I brush my hair before washing it. But it is still SOO KNOTTY the hair almost mattes up after I wash it. Help!!!

Amanda Gaffney: Can you please tell me which shampoo and conditioner I should be using please.Ive got tape extensions

Kelly Callahan: Can you use a blow dryer

Thhhj ghjhh: Do u have any tips to grow mg hair faster like maybe 3 inch in 3 months? ☹️ help me please

Yerly Young: Can I use olaplex on my hair extensions?

Chalani Punsala: Is it possible to do hair masks for the hair which is gont through any semi permenent hair extension methods ??

Jenna Hawley: Can I use the air brush or do I need to buy a hair dryer

Miss Blueberry: what kind of shampoo should I use?

Ranjani Pillai: ❤️❤️

Rosie: Do you just wash the hair as though it is your own

Clau Cosmin: Hello. I have tape in extensions from glamseamless. I bought extra virgin hair , they are amazing. The only problem is that they slip Off every time I wash them. Like half on the extensions fall down:( . I had to mention that I washed my hair before setting the extension verry verry well, i don'T have to oily hair, and I don'T touch the tape with conditioner. I Also retape them , with the super tape( the blue one) wich I bought Also from the glamseamless website. What Could be the problem?

Shaanti Shaanti: Can we oil scalp

Antara Roy Choudhury: How to dry ring extensions? Saloon said no dryers at all

Jamie Fisher: What are the best products to use for tape-in hair extensions?

Brook Cooling: Is it okay to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner with tape in extensions

Kylie Maas: Is it a good idea to deep condition your hair extensions?

doctor sundus: I'm planning to have 6fld extensions but I'm reading people comment that don't get permenent extensions there half head has gone bald. While brushing t feels they are pulling their hair. N hair are breaking more n most of them got them removed within weeks. What to do should I go fr then 9r not as I have very less hair in my scalp already. Thanks

LuckyLegz222 luckylegz: my hair is very scarce at the temples especially so the hairdresser put nanno rings there - where it is possible. after chemo its grown back silky and very fine like a baby's ugh! i have been told to use dry shampoo only can you show us how please? lol as soon as poss! thankyou

Mary Evans: My tapes are peeling a bit at the ends/ not lying flat like they were when they were just done. What am I doing wrong

HAIFAA WORLD: Thnk u so much

Aer Raen: thank you

Beached whale: I subscribed

Lee Francis: I find these things IMPOSSIBLE to wash!!!!!! i cant get between the rows and the hair is so HEAVY when it's wet. And it itches like hell. My hair is very fine so i have to use conditioner to get the tangles out.

Soph Bella: Anyone else see the face on the wall

Krista Lockhorn: Zoals jij het zegt... wil niemand het meer.. bullshit.

Mandy Thomas: You have great tips but can you PLEASE be more aware of the sucking/snapping sound you make before nearly every sentence. It was very hard to actually get through this video. There is no reasons to make sucking sounds when speaking and it's a thing that a lot of people cant handle listening too.

J.H Dominator: I find this really annoying but you're mouth clicks really loud and it's annoying.
