DISCLAIMER:

This is a DIY hair extension video, so is slightly different to how I usually install on clients. I am qualified, and have been for 2 years. Your lines must be straight, and you must use the correct equipment. The only difference to how I install on myself and clients, is that with myself, I am not as precise as I am with clients with the amount of hair, as it is incredibly difficult to use a comb to get exactly the same amount of hair for each extension.

You must always make sure that if you want hair extensions, you should go to a qualified extension stylist, unless you feel as though you can install and take of them yourself. Please note, that if you install your own extensions, it is at your own risk.

Hi guys and welcome back to my channel so today, I'm showing you how we installed one marker in hair, extensions and the last time I did an installation video was around two years ago, and that was how I installed one an o-ring hair extensions and it doesn't Even seem like it was two years ago since I had those in my hair. It only seems like it was a couple of months ago, and that's just crazy for me. So since I did that video I've become a qualified hair extension stylist and I happened for the last two years - and I thought like I can give you a professional opinion now and I can give you my own opinion and loads of things like that. I do have loads of videos on how extensions i do have a full playlist on my channel, which i'll link down below for you, so you can check that out and for the hair extension videos that i have. I have insulation videos. I have question answer videos. I'Ve had to care for your hair extensions loads of things like that, so i'll put that down below. So you can check that out and you can see how i stood the extensions and my opinions on them, and those are things like that. So when i install these hair extensions, I did do it pretty much exactly the same as I would on a client. The only difference is, I didn't get it as perfect, as I would on a client only because when you try to get every individual extension with a comb and you try to measure out in the back of your head, it's extremely tricky to do it on yourself. So that's the only difference between what I do and a client I'm going to do it. On my own hair with a client I will get a comb and I'll do the precise amount that you need to have for every different extension. So I always make sure that I have between two and 2.5 centimeters right on the hair and that's the correct amount of hair that you need for every extension and that's what I do with all my clients. It'S why I was taught on my extension course, but when I do my extensions on my own hair, it is slightly different by try and get it as perfect as I can, but when you're trying to do it in the back, your hair with a comb is Extremely hard to do so, that's the only difference with them. So if you look at this video and you're like you're, not going to do extensions like that, I know exactly how to do extensions. I'M fully qualified. So please keep in mind. This is a DIY extension. Video, so if you do have your own opinions and you're like this, isn't how you do it, I know for a fact. This is how you do it, because I've done, of course I am fully qualified and I've done this on loads of clients before so a couple of years ago, I tried my current hair extensions and I really did like them. I think it was around three or four years ago and it may have been when I had blond hair when I tried those out and that's a very long time ago, and I think the reason why I did not mark her rings back then was because a Quality, wasn't that good and also the hair extensions kept slipping. They were very thick. I signal one gram, extensions and the betta I was using was five millimeters, and that is huge compared to these hair extensions that I'm wearing at the moment. These ones are half the size and the micro Rings are super super tiny as well they're pretty much undetectable, and even when I put my hair up in a ponytail, no one can tell that they're extensions. I'Ve had these extensions in for a month, and these feels so nice and stuff they're, so silky. So soft I've washed these loads of times. I'Ve used heat on them. They are human hair and they just feel like how I want my own hair to be, and I love the fact that the color match is almost perfect. I think my natural hair is a little bit more orange than the extensions, but this is dyed hair. So when I do wash my hair, it does start to fade even more every time that I wash it and I've had so many people say that my hair looks natural. I'Ve had so many people give me compliments a couple of days after I did my hair extensions. I went to work and everyone loved my hair extensions. They said they look natural, they love the color match as well, and they said that they look really nice and they look so shiny as well and honestly. These are by far the best extensions I've ever tried in my life. So the extensions I got this time are from a website called your hair shop calm. I found out about this website by watching this lady called Gillian or audaciously on YouTube, and she always uses extensions. I think for the last six years and she loved them. She always says how good they are and, honestly, I think these are the best extensions I've ever had. They are a little bit more expensive than the extensions that I used to get, but these ones are supposed to last around six to nine months and honestly, I can feel that these are going to last a very long time, so the extensions that I got other Deluxe eye tips and these 100 % human hair. The shade that I got is color number 30 and in length is 20 inches, and I honestly love these extensions. I think neither by far the best extensions I've ever tried, if you do have red, hair or strawberry blonde hair you'll know how difficult it is to try and get hair extensions to map with these extensions there's so many different tones in them. You have blonde. You have red, you have ginger, you have brown you'll, have a little tiny bit of black in there as well. So, no matter what color your hair is. These are pretty much going to match because it has lo different tones in them. It makes it look a lot more natural as well, and I just think these are by far the best color match that I've ever had. So when I bought these hair extensions, I did buy seven packs. I still have this whole pack left over. I also have another pack with their extensions in there, so in total I have between 180 and 190 hair extensions in my hair. They start from right down here all the way to the top here now I do have enough hair to cover over the top. I also have enough hair that I've left at the bottom. So when I do put my hair up, you can't see them at all under the bottom, so with the extensions instead of getting micro rings, I did get extended length. Silicon, copper, micro tubes - and this is what they look like so just a lot longer than the micro rings, but they're a lot smaller as well. So this is what the micro ring and the micro tubes look like compared to each other. As you can see, the micro tube is half the size of the micro ring is a little bit longer than the micro ring, but I feel like that these are a lot less detectable. So before I show you, the installation, I am going to show you a mini shoot on how you install these hair extensions, I'm going to do it at the front of my hair, so you can see how you do it, and this is just a process that You do all over the head, you're going to be able to see me putting them in from the balm all the way over to the top, and it's pretty much exactly the same process throughout the whole thing. So when you do these extensions, you are going to need four different things. The first thing that you're gon na need is a micro ring luteal, and this is what I use for all my extensions. I always have two of these and always make sure that they're all the way filled up. I also have this tiny comb as well. I'M not too sure what it's called, but it just has a little thing on the end of it. This just make sure that you get your lines perfect, because for every line of extensions that you do, you have to make sure that you get a pretty much perfect line just so they don't matter and just so you can fit them all in as well. You'Re. Also going to need some hair extension pliers as well. This is what used to clamp down on the bead is also what you use to take them out your hair as well, and it's really easy, I'm really quick to do so. I really do prefer these extensions, and the last thing that you're going to need are some clips and let's just make sure that your hair gets out the way when you do sectioning, and these are really good. These are the only ones that I use, because these keep all my hair up. I do have around four of these in my hair at the same time, and this just works really well, so I definitely prefer these clips. So that is everything that you need to know about: microing, hair extensions - if you do have any questions just comment down below to, let me know and I'll be sure to answer those also. I am doing an updated hair extension question answer video just so you can check that out as well. If there are any questions that you have in there, so I'm going to go ahead and show you the mini tutorial and then afterwards you're going to have the insulation and hope that you enjoy this video and make sure that you give it a very big thumbs. Up and subscribe to my chair and I'll see you in my next video guys bye before I say the process of me installing these hair extensions, I'm going to show you a little tutorial and how you can do these hair extensions yourself. It just shows you individually, how you install them and also how you remove them. The first thing I always do is make sure that my micro loop tools are filled up with micro Rings. I like to fill them up to around here, just to make sure that I can pop the hair in there and just so it make sure that I don't have to keep putting on new micro Rings for every individual extension. I do fill up two of these and it just makes the process a lot quicker. So I'm just going to pop the micro ring on here and, as you can see, I have a micro tube, so they're a little bit longer and they're also thinner than the micro Rings. Then you're just going to choose where you want your hair extension to be. I always use a comb for this, but I'm just going to show you right at the front of my hair, how I install these extensions and when you do your hair extensions, you don't want to do them right at the front. You always want to make sure that you have enough room just so. If you put your hair up, then you can't see the micro ring and you have enough hair to cover it. I always make sure that I have around a thumb width and that's pretty much. The perfect amount I always have, and it always make sure that my markings are covered with my hair. So when you do these hair extensions, you want to make sure that your hair was wash the day before or you want to make sure that your hair was washed today. If you installing these, make sure that you don't have any conditioner on the roots and always make sure that your hair is completely dry before installing these, so I'm popping my hair extension right at the front just to show you what it looks like, but you wouldn't Be doing these this far forward, if you were to do your own extension, I always want to make sure that I have the same amount of my own hair as I do with the extension just because these are a lot thinner. So it's going to make sure that you don't have a lot of weight, that's going to be pulling down in your hair, so this is the amount of hair that I'm going to have, and this is where I'm going. To put it just right, a difference. You can see what it looks like and I'm just going to thread my hair through the loop tool and then pop the micro ring at the top like this. So you can see that it's right there and then you want to get your hair extension and you just want to pop it into the microwave ring, and you always want to make sure that these are on the outside. Just so, you can see the extension and you just pop it all the way up just like this, and then you get your pliers and then you just crunch down on the extension just like this and as you can see, the hair extension can't come out because It'S safely put in your hair and because it does have silicon in it, it won't make it hurt your and also it makes it a lot more sturdier as well. So, as you can see, I'm just pulling on my hair a little bit and hair extension has been put in and then when you want to remove your hair extension, it's very easy to do as well. So all you do is grab hold of your hair extension and also the micro ring. Then you get your pliers and then you just crunch down on the opposite direction, to how you install your hair extensions and then you just grab hold of your hair extension and your microing and you just pull it out very gently. Then you pull out the micro ring as well. So as you can see, there's absolutely no hair loss and it's very quick and easy to do as well. So that's how you install and remove micro, hair extensions and I'm going to go ahead and show you. The process of me sewing these all over my head line in an empty room, dreaming different story where I whispered to me throughout. Without you, it's free, your everything. Nothing new tonight, the way of only time reaching out toward your face is enough to make me want you. I was wrong break through the way tonight. Every day with you see,

sahar desert: Extremely insightful and exactly the tutorial I was looking for thank you!!!!!

Angela Andra: This tutorial was so much more helpful than any other I've been watching for the last hour. you explain the steps very well, and show the steps very well. and not only did you show how to do micro hair extensions, but also how to remove them. thank you.

Raluca Tarcea: Actual explanation starts at at 06:39 if anyone is also wondering

Noa Hart: Hi, thank you for this video it's very helpful. What brand of hair would you recommend for wavy hair? And also how close to the scalp do you apply these and how tight do you close the rings? Any tips for color matching when ordering online?

Sally Christine Fryer: Thank you for this amazing tutorial! And THANK YOU for answering everyone's questions! That answered all my questions hahaha.

J Vincent: you did a great job. i am gonna do my own. How long did it take you? Also when it comes to pushing up do you maintain that yourself? Lastly, fav products? Thanks !!

Rebeca Diaz: I'm in love with your hair color, it looks so natural and beautiful

Ches: Thank you for this tutorial.. I really want to know on how to install micro ring hair extension and your video really helps a lot. I really have thin hair and I want my hair to look beautiful on my older brother’s wedding. May I know how many hair strands did you put on your hair?

Becca Amanda: Hi, I’m doing a hair extension course soon and I’d love to do these on myself but how do you cut them and blend them in on yourself?

ashley corder: Awesome job ! You have inspired me to attempt on myself , thanks

Kerry Taff: Your hair looks great. I do have one question. When installing, is all of your own hair used in the extensions or do you leave some of your hair out at regular points?

Jesika Jamez: Question: I am installing mine today. It is the first time I am doing nano ring, I typically use I tip fusion. In this video you say to make sure the extension is in the front but every other video I've watched says to make sure it's in the back. Is this something that makes a difference or is it purely preference?

Casey Tervort: Do you have any advice for someone trying to apply them on the back of their head by themselves? Or if you have any experience with shorter hair applications?

Cindy TV: Thank you so much for your tutorial!!

tinagag: Hello Chloe, you are such a great job. I did itip hair extension by my self but after 1 month my hair got matted/tangled from the roots and i feel its in bad condition . Now how can i fix it . Please please help me with this problem . Thanks , will eagerly wait for your reply.

tracie hyland: U make it look so easy i taken mine out easierly but im gunna try putting them in 4 my birthday again tbank for thr vid very helpful x

Natalie De Biase: Hi Chloe, I have been researching which extensions to try for a few months now and have finally decided on micro rings but with the mini tubes as my hair is fine. I am looking into installing them myself or at least maintaining them to save money but cannot find anyone anywhere advising how many rows of extensions are needed at the back of the head. Can u advise how many rows you typically need? I have quite a small head and thin hair so think I will need approx 100 strands. Thanks for your time. Nat x

Jane Ferraz: Thanks for the very good video. . Can they be reused a few times? Looks super.

Michelle LaRose: Thank you for the video. Curious what are you using as a back mirror?

Nicole Carroll: Hi there I'm looking in to doing a hair extensions course, was wondering what company you used for your course? Thanks Nicole xxx

izola anders: Omg thanks for the video I’ve been trying to find videos on how todo this and this is the only one I can find giving me the info I need!

Sadie X: What's the difference between the normal beads and the silicone lined ones? Xx

Kelly Gonzalez: Hello, I'm in the U.S. and looking to buy micro ring hair extensions. Do you know any other website that sells human hair that weighs more than .5 g? I'd prefer .8g to 1g for my thicker hair. I have used clip ins for over 5 yrs and used to buy from Luxury for Princess in Netherlands, but they don't sell micro ring. :(

Morgan Boyd: Would you say these extensions are more or less damaging than tape ins?

Regina Crystal: New subbie! I have always used clip in extensions. Once I paid $300 for the rubberband technique but they were so uncomfortable. This I am willing to try. I like how simple it was! Thanks for sharing!

Mary: Hey! What colour of micro beads do you use? I have same colour hair

Viktoria Robinson: I'm looking to do my own hair extensions but now sure what to use to see the back of my head, did you use a mirror or the camera behind you and project it onto a laptop?

Nina AF: Will this method work if your hair is dyed and requires root maintenance and also if your hair is heavily layered at it's pre-extension length and you would like to maintain longer layers?

Mo Vidharra: I have a question I used hair extensions since 5 years ago but I've never used the micro ring so how long is gonna during me this? and when the start to growing up won't need the retouching ?

Gaymeil Homer-Mesina: Excellent work !

Dinee2925: You look so pretty . You did a great job

Liv Gallagher: What type of extensions would be best for really thin hair??

Krista Angevaare: What do you call these thin tube beads you're using ? I can only seem to find the regular Mirco beads... Thanks!

Sammi Hunt: What are you using to see the back of your head? I’m doing mine sat

JadoreMii: For natural curly hair that’s gonna be straightened is it best to wash, flat iron real hair first then add the itips and style ? Or if you have curly itips should it be the other way around

Roellie Van Der Meulen: how many extensions did you use? Just currious....Nice video thanks for sharing!

elizabeth bullock: hi i had the nano rings done last week she put them randomly and not following any line, and they are detectable. it cost me 100. but im worried about going back to ask for them to be taken out, in case she damages my hair. any suggestions please

Sophie Goode: I noticed you put them right to the roots I've always left a bit of a gap do you find that's better? Thanks x

Skubie123: Amazing video, can you recommend any uk sites to buy hair from please

Francisca Villareal: I'm not sure if I missed it and if I did my apologies. But, how long did the process take in it's entirety?

Kayla: I’m tempted to buy these and do them myself as 3/4 of my hair has snapped short (long story) the bottom section though is blue and still has some length to it. Would I need 1g extensions and a lot to cover my head. I don’t need volume just length

Reignbeautyxo Aguilar: How many rows did you do for a full head?

Nikolett Kovács: I'm wondering about how many clipping do you need?

Vexxiie Marie: How long did the installation take you?

fizzgigger: How do you setup your camera to see the back of your head like that?

Chloe Andrews: How many strands do you have in? Xx

Impressionable Marie: If your hair is colored how does the extensions being beaded in effect upkeeping the color?

devils cat: Can you wear the for like 7-8 months and not take them off?

LuckyLegz222 luckylegz: thx! how do we wash and how often please?

TTORREZ1: Chloe I have thin hair & I want to try the micro rings. Do you think 2 bundles of hair will be enough? Isn't it the thinner the hair, the less bundles you need? Also how did you measure your extensions out (the .5 grams)? And u recommend the .5 grams over the 1 gram right? And how many rows do you recommend & how many extensions per row? Thanks. - Tammy in Phoenix, Arizona. : )

Abigail Hilliard: Can you dye these extensions?

CharLotte Mund: I WANT EXACTLY THAT COLOR

Selina Mayandoc: Cool

Steph Metson: Hi that’s exactly what I need to add a little thickness to the sides. Can I ask where you bought the hair from?

Paisley Louise: How many pieces per row and how many at the sides ? X

Quiet Belle: Hi, how di you wash your hair with these in please?

Rosa Villegas: So are the extensions synthetic? And if they not can i use synthetic hair to do the i tips ?

Shelby J: I have slightly thin hair how many packs do you suggest that I use

cool dude: When you are brushing you hair does it get caught in your brush the little bead like can you feel it

oriana Guevara: Cool Nice job

Nikki G: thank youuuuuu

sylvie talon: the comb you're talking about is called ''rat's tail'' comb :)

Anam Zara: Pleee tell me which extension os best for very thin hair tape r micro ring please answer me

blessie layug: Is it hurts when youre sleeping and lying down on your pillow ?

ButterFly Kisses: Can I have your room please!!! lol

gabrielle wilson: So I would like to buy these and install them myself however I am curious about one thing. I have naturally curly hair. I have medium length hair and I am currently trying to grow my hair out so I am avoiding heat products and harmful chemicals but these extensions don't require any harsh glues which is great. My question is can I scrunch these and use mousse to make them wavy after a shower to match my curly hair? or will they stay straight?

BeautyyFitness: Rat tail comb

Boricua baby Miñosa: How many hair I need to buy

Jenifer Gomez: lindas

Ladymandi69 xx: it's a rat tail comb. I thought you would of known that

Andrea Arcos: Hey where are you located?

Jayanthi Parthasarathy: v.nice

Julie Kozlowski: I have heard horror stories about these extensions. I have a sensitive scalp do they hurt your head and when you lie down can you feel the bead?

Kaitie Del Rey: This drives me crazy the placement is terrible like omg

GWEN WILSON: A hair dresser who don't know that the comb is called a rat tail comb????

Gökhan Karakan: omgggggggggggg she talks too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
