Hey guys welcome back, so this is the current length of my model's hair, but we're going to make it look longer by adding some micro lengths extension that blends so perfectly with her natural hair, we're going to be using micro links from white wigs.com today - and this Is what it looks like in the packaging? They give you a wig cap which we're not going to need today. I have three bundles of their micro links here, and this is what it looks like when you open it up. It is the same color of my model's hair and very close to her 4c hair texture, so i have 18 inches in color 1b. So, if you're not familiar with micro links, they are basically an alternative to sew-ins. They are super safe and easy to install, especially with this y wigs micro links. They come with the loop already attached to the beads, so you don't have to buy an extra tool to pass the beads through, and this is what the loop looks like. So the loop is going to make it easy for us to install this micro links here. So i'm doing this style very versatile for her. So if she wants to wear half of half down, she can wear that. If she also wants the middle part, she could wear that as well. If she wants to put the hair in a ponytail, she can do that as well. So i'm leaving here around the top for the half of half down and also i'm going to leave here for the middle part and i'm going to leave hair all around the perimeter for when she wants to put it in a ponytail. So the micro lynx hair is basically going to mimic her natural hair and the goal is to wear the micro links like you're wearing your own natural hair. Okay, so i want her to be able to style the hair in different ways and that's why i'm leaving all these hair so that it could look nice and natural all right now that we've pre-sectioned the leave out, let's do the first row of the micro links, Installation, and so i'm just going to install the micro links in this row and kind of doing it like in a small direction so that way, if she put it up in the ponytail, it's going to be nice and flat. So this is how to install it. Basically, um, you see the micro links, you see the loop and then you're just going to make a part like you want to make small sections. Okay, i'm going to explain why so make a small section like this and then i'm going to pass her natural hair through the loop of the micro links here and then i'm going to drag the loop like this just pull and just pass the natural hair through The bead like this okay i'll, show you guys again and then you're gon na push it up not too close to the scalp leave a little bit of distance. Okay, like leave a distance this much okay. The reason is because you don't want it to be too tight, so you're going to take a plier, and this is the plier that you use to press the bead together to you know, secure the hair, so it doesn't come. Undone just press it gently. It looks like i'm being rough, but trust me, i'm not um, just the way the angle of the camera and my hand, but yeah just press it down and you should be able to move the hair left up side. Okay, so let me show you guys again. So once you're done with the first row, you should be able to raise it up and move it to the side like this. Okay, so just make sure you don't do it too close to the scalp and also make sure you do your parts in a smile direction. So that way, if you want to put it up, it's going to be easy for you. So i'm gon na do basically do like two rows of the micro links, installation and then skip one row and just leave her natural hair out and then do another two row and then skip her hair again. Okay. So this is why what i mean by make sure the section of the hair is small, so it could pass through the bead right now, i'm struggling because that part is too big. It'S just i'm gon na take some hair out okay and make the part smaller. So it could easily just pass through the bead, so yeah the beads are really tiny, so the parts have to be small enough to pass through all right. So we're almost done as you can tell. I did like two rows and then had a leave out in between. I don't know if you guys can see it but um right here at the top. This is two rows, but i'm gon na do one more row at the very top, because i want the top to be nice and full. So i'm just spraying some oil on her scalp as i go just to make sure her. Scalp is nice and fed and yeah. So this is the leave out part. I didn't show the last row of the micro lengths of me doing it, but i know you guys get the point now, but when you comb the hair it just blends with her natural hair perfectly, i haven't even blown out the hair yet but just combing the Hair just blends perfectly with her natural hair, all right so for the top, i'm just gon na add the micro links in this section. So i'm just gon na add about three rows of the micro links here and i'm going to repeat the same thing on the other side. So so she got her middle part and she could also put it all up in a ponytail like this, and it looks just like her natural hair. So i really like the kinky straight texture on her 4c hair. I also tried their other textures as well, which i'm going to show you in just a second. So this is the um kinky curly texture, which i also tried on a different model, and this is the 18 16 14 inch kinky curly hair. So this is actually the first one that i tried. I co-washed it and then i also blew it out like this, because i wanted to use it on another model that has 4c hair as well. So this was me installing it on the other model, and this was what it looks like, comparing the the texture with her natural hair and then i ended up blowing it out even more, and this is what it looks like when i blew it out. Even more so, it was really good, and this is what it looked like when i put in a ponytail and yeah. Both textures are great for the micro links if you have 4c or type 3 hair. So let me show you how to take it down so to take it down you're going to need a different plier okay, so this plier is different from the one we use in installing it okay. So this is the one we used in pressing it pressing the beads down. As you can see, the shape is curved, but the one on the left is what we're going to use to reverse what we did. As you can see, the beads look flat. Okay, because we press it down, so we raise it up like this and you're just going to take the plier and just press it down a little bit until it becomes round okay, once you see that is round, then it's open. You just slide it out. Very simple: i'm gon na show you again you

Hairiscope: Can you take them down? yes , can you re-use them yes, yes , yes and yes... Watch me taking it down and re-installing them live here https://youtu.be/a382IRqQFa8 , the re-install https://youtu.be/eWn9M5NIa9s

Kreamy: This is soooo beautiful I’m starting to leave Brazilian and Asian hair alone and starting to love the Afro type hair now. It’s sad to say at first cause I wasn’t educated much on my hair type but I’m happy now.

Miss Lulu: Wow this looks so natural, the perfect type of hair extensions for black women, had no idea we had this type of extentions out there, now I want it!!!!

N Goddess of Victory: This is probably one of the best hair instruction videos on YouTube. You were clear, concise, no awful back ground music and you didn't talk too much. Your zoom in camera work was on point.

Cherie McFadden: This is so beautiful! Relieves tension on the scalp and especially around the perimeter. The hair blends in beautifully and the model's hair is nice and healthy too! Great Job!!

Valerie Maddox: A person that can can braid, plait, sew-in, cut and do all kinds of things with hair has some kind of talent.

Rainebeau meyers: I have never seen this technique used before, you were so thorough and gentle at the same time. This video was awesome. Thank you! Her hair looks so beautiful!

Dragonfly's Dance: If I could have found hair extensions like these years ago, it would have been on. I never wanted the hair to look fake. This doesn't.

the truth: I want this done to my hair now ❤

Jess: This the type of WEAVE/EXTENSIONS that needs to be promoted to black women if anything! Sure straight and body wave etc is cool but I want more black women to embrace their NATURAL hair!! Other races wear extensions that look like their hair so why do BW not do the same?!

💐Happy2BeNappy💐: Yes!! This!!! This is what we needed all along. I don’t think any of us enjoy wearing hear that doesn’t look like it could’ve grown out of our heads. Thank you so much for your work. You did a beautiful job on both clients! ♥️♥️♥️

Meals by Milan: Listen sis this video was so well done . I’m ordering everything & having my teenage daughter install mines . She’s a self taught phenomenal hair Braider & maintains all our hair maintenance ( she has 4 sisters & plenty of practice lol ). Thank you for such clarity & ease in this process & showing the various textures ! I’m so convinced that I’m ready to do an install on my other daughter. No one in our region does these ! Thank you . Can this be done on Caucasian or Philippine hair ? I have friends that will want this lol … I master anything put before me lol lil OCD obsession w/ perfection smh ‍♀️

Renea W.: Loved how you included the take-down VERY HELPFUL please update how this would be maintenanced (ie, washed/ conditioned or simply co-washed, tied up at night, and styled w/ tools/ what temperature if hair is able to be flat iron/ curling iron, length of time this would last ideally)?

Modelchickny Luxury For Less: Beautiful install. This looks exactly like the micro link hair is growing right out of the model's scalp. Amazing! How often can the hair be washed and how long can the micro links stay in the hair until you have to remove them?

Robin Sydney: Finally, someone who does like their curly hair and is not longing for straight hair like so I see on so many videos!

MsBee BEA: Thank you for showing us up close and slowly how to do Microlinks! I’ve been wanting this style for a while! You slayed this on the Model by the way❤️

ary0212: I highly recommended installing these when the natural hair is straightened. It’s helps with sectioning and and reducing tangling innate beads or strands of hair getting caught in another bead from another section

Jamin Joyce: "NATURAL!" " YES!" My grown daughter natural hair is like this without extensions! Thickness & Length.

cassball7 aka Cassie: This is the only weave I would ever do! Beautiful! I’m doing this for my wedding!

Chanta Willis: You did it exactly right. I have had this done before. I just wish there were more options for curly hair. I haven't had a perm in forever.

E Com: Wonderful to see NATURAL hair weave!!! This shows the world: a beautiful woman who IS black and proud. ✊

Tara Shelton: You’re good! I wish I could braid that good up to the scalp! My daughters wants me to braid pieces of of their hair attached to their scalp and I cannot do it! We are white girls and we got no skills! I love how full it is, great volume! Very beautiful!!!

Krystle Shannon: This looks a lot easier than having to use the tool each time to loop it.

You Tube: Now, THIS is what all the sistas should be rocking!

l c: With the stress of 4c hair, this was so calming to watch. ❤️

Fine Natural Hair ROCKS: Wow, I literally thought that this was her real hair! This is absolutely stunning!!

Tyra V: Wonderful job! The hair blended so naturally. I also love that you included the take down process and an optional for a different hair texture. Keep up the great work!

Dj Tye: One of the best educational, clear & informative tutorial, I’ve seen in a long time Tfs

Amey Gunderman: As a hairdresser I love this. No hair breaking. Nice n soft.

Leya Ezell: When I had microlinks, to wash them put your hair in loose braids, and shampoo while the braids are in. Like jumbo I did about 6 big braids and shampoo my hair by focusing on the scalp and let it run down. For conditioner I did by sections. You want to use a wet brush to detangle while conditioning, and do each braid one by one and rinse out. Kind of like it’s your real hair. Just be a little more gentle. When wet the extensions should match your texture so you will have to blow dry section by section, and if you want to flat iron do it section by section. I recommend the blow dry brush to do it. Makes it easier. I live in FL so I only do straight microlinks in Nov/Dec/Jan. Any other month I maintain wet styles since it’s mostly summer here.

HJCWC: Kinky hair is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE hair to work with/use....you did a great job!!

steph: I would have never have guessed that this was not her own hair. This is amazing!

Cosmic Mystical Goddess: So many natural gurus be doing this looks so real..Love it!

SG: Beautiful. This is the texture that majority of BW should be rocking. Let’s Keep it real here. Regardless it is beautiful, looks extremely natural.

Ms. Mommie: I enjoyed this video so much I subscribed. This was so informative. I appreciate you showing how to take them out in the same video without a lot of fluff. Now I want to try these for myself and sister! I look forward to binge watching your channel!

K Team: OMG this is soooo gorgeous, natural and absolutely beautiful!!! Now I would wear this weave with pride

Misty Maria: This is beautiful!! It looks so natural. 4C hair is beautiful and this definitely embraces that sentiment love it!

Blakka Den U: The micro links are sick, I've done them to my self they are so easy!

fca2d: Love this video! You did such a great job on showing how to install from beginning to end as well as showing the take down. I also love that you showed the curly hair texture for the second model since my hair is closer to that texture. This was so good, thank you!

Dansowaa Ahima: Really nice work. I’ve been considering this for a while and this video just sealed the deal for me. I have 4c hair and my only concern has been my hair reverting. Any advice? How many inches did you use?

Dragon Heart: I love the end result and also love her natural hair without anything added.

minihoyas: i used to wear wigs that were my texture because i wanted to see what my hair would be with a little more length, but this looks like such a nice alternative

Remnant Few ministries ministry: I have never seen this kind of hair as extensions. Its simply beautiful and you were created a great tutorial with a beautiful model. Well done.❤

Victoria T: I love it. Thanks for sharing this. I'm definitely trying this hair and style. I'm glad you showed step by step. You made it look so easy.

Renata Mitchell: I love this ❤️ it looks just the model's real hair. Beautiful.

Sun Shine: I'm praying more natural hairstyles like this!! will be a new healthy trend wigs are fun but just imagine the toll it plays on your hair ladies with daily use. I see so many females that get installments that have lifted edges from the over use of them lace fronts being glued to their foreheads.

Michelle.My. Belle: Her hair is beautiful and the added length looks great! Continue taking care of your hair!!

lilbrowngirl withlocs: I am in L❤VE with the length and texture of this hair! Nobody would be able to tell me anything if I had my hair styled with these lol!

BLESSED & HIGHLY FAVOREDx's3: Amazing.. I'm going to do this to my daughters hair. She's going to looooove it!

Godsfavor: Micro links have gotten a bad wrap from other stylists I’ve listened to. How safe are they and can it break off your natural hair?

H H: I love how easy it is to install. Wow the take down is just as easy. My hair is salt and pepper I would love to find the right color for my hair.

Lauren Ferrell: Also, this is pretty and it seems like it’s going to be a genius game changer for black women!

Terry Boothe: Absolutely genius!! Beautiful job!

Your left acrylic pinky nail: I have been seeing non-black women wear micro links so I am so happy it comes in our hair texture. Thank you for the video.

Priscilla Harling: I don't watch hair video but by accident this came on. This really looks good and it was difficult to ascertain hair added. So many ways to have nice hairstyles no matter if add on or not, perm or natural. What difference does it really make with hair, fake or not. It is all a person choice. She did a very good job showing how easy it is to apply hair into natural hair. I have a varied interest therefore I stay abreast of many different professions. I would not have the patient to do this but it did look very natural and full. Good idea for natural hair styles.

Melly A.: You are blessed with talent. This is beautiful and healthy. I will definitely be getting this done to my hair this summer

Diann Whitaker: Nice job! I microlink my own hair and I use the same tool to open mine.

Tonya Williams: I'm in love with this way of putting extensions into your hair. **INCREDIBLE!**

Addicted To Success: Oh I didn’t know they had micro links that matched out texture! Love it! Came out great btw!

Adrianne Jones: Yaaaaas. If I didn't have locks this would be the type of weave I would go for. Back in the day we wore our weaves with our natural texture...I glad to see it make a comeback.

Ms.Holistic Healer: That looks so natural. And easy to take down.

gloria hodge: I wouldn’t mind this type hair/style . Looks so natural . Thanks so much for sharing .

Enid Iroanya: Wooo!!! This is what I have always wanted my hair to look like… so natural and beautiful

Lorraine Dennis: Looks beautiful, the hairdresser is very very talented, well done

Coach Brown : That's looks so natural. Gorgeous

S.W.: This was so gorgeous and cool! I would love to try this on myself but the braiding is what completely discouraged me, lol! Completely lost. But I have always loved long, thick, kinky curly hair.

MsWonderwoman78: I really enjoyed watching and learning from your video. Wish you were near me to do my hair. I'm not a hair stylist at all but think I could do this on my nieces hair easily and since I have two nieces I can practice my skills on them. Now if only there was a way I could do my own hair, lol. I know that would be impossible. Thank you for this informationional video.

janet daphne van Wyk: This is really beautiful...especially for some of us that struggle with thin hair

not Your business: So pretty. Very well done. ❤

samira O_O: I NEEDED THIS HAIR YESTERDAYYYYY. Stellar work, Hairiscope!!! I’m shook af

WatchingNinja: Her natural hair is so beautiful. The weave looks amazing too.

BIGGIE SHORTY: My hair would be so damn tangled This looks so beautiful and wonderful though! I want to try this so bad! IDK though my scalp is usually the problem and this would stop that.

Gee Collins: Beautiful work. Loved it ❤️

Precious S: Best tutorial ever . Great job

Kimberly Johnson: I've seen this but was scared wasn't sure if it would break my hair with the metal beeds? So it doesn't break your hair off? Will it help with growing out your natural hair? How long will it last before needing to get done again?

RealLyfe Gurltv: This is exactly what I wanted ,definitely getting this, I hope your in Las Vegas or Iam going to definitely find someone to do this, I always wanted this. I have Lupus so this will help me grow my hair properly without doing Lace fronts. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS AND GORGEOUS. "LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!When I was growing up our black community did not influence to wear our natural hair but made me feel ashamed about my 4c hair. But fast forward to now..I absolutely love my hair and will fight someone saying something bad about our hair...f@!@ them excuse the curse...but I'll fight yall over our BEAUTIFUL Hair

ShyGirl36: This is perfect! Great match on the texture

Shadiyah: This is perfect and clean, always wanted to know how its done and taken out and you demonstrated it all well. Why aren't all black women wearing this? The texture matches our hair the most. I love it.

NEYSA: You did an amazing job! Wonderful informative video.

PRINCESS SIELE: Her hair is naturally beautiful thick, black and shiny

Kate Fitzpatrick: Looks amazing . Fantastic colour match too

Lyna isFly: Beautiful. I hope they have longer lengths so I can get this done!

Reina De la luz: Omg so beautiful i have the Micro links, them coming with the loop looks way easier!

Tiara S.: Cant wait to get mine done!!!

It's My Life Daralynn: Nice job! Some people of color have this texture of hair . It’s never everyone’s texture that’s in this ethnicity. It looks very nice and you did a wonderful job. As a former stylist the only thing the client as to be concerned about is breakage . Thumbs up

Destinyatk: Gurrrrl. This is FLAWLESS. New subscriber. THE BEST NATURAL looking extension install I have EVER seen. I’m bout ready to roll thru for an appointment at your shop. Thanks for posting

Dougha In Reality: Okay so this is what I’ve been looking for i love this

Leah May: I’m so shook!! This look AMAZING

Keisha J: The best I've seen as far as matching a black woman's natural hair texture. Love it

Mixed Emoticons: I had this procedure done quite a few years ago, but the hair was straight and not my texture. I prefer this hair the stylist used cause its so natural!

nisha E: Loved it …I ran to the site and grabbed mines .I see the sun peeking in and it’s time to get cute

Minnie Andrews: Music is perfectly soothing and I'm so grateful for this wise technique, today before this video I cried about my hair and the Lord heard me

TheAnti-Guru-Art: As a token white girl I found this fascinating. It turned out beautifully.

Marry Talley: Love this video! However I am very intimidated by straightedges or blow out leave out. You leave the salon and you look beautiful, but how do I maintain that same look 3 weeks later with out going to the salon to get it professionally done. Please feel free to comment anyone who may have some advice. God bless and stay safe
