Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today i am going to be installing some micro links. I have previously did a video, but it wasn't a tutorial this time, i'm going to try to make it a tutorial as best as i can. The hair that i'm installing today is my cambodian soft kinky curly. This is a 16 inch. I think the first time i did 20 inches my goal for this install is to have some highlights. So, as you could um, each bundle comes with. Let me see 125 pieces, so they come in small it'll come like this when you get it, but it comes in like small bundles of 25 for 125., so it'll come like this, and i took about 75 pieces colored them. This hair can be colored. It can be um press silky straight just so i can have like highlights throughout you'll, see using micro links. Eye tips is the perfect way to get highlights if you just want to add, highlights to your natural hair, but i'm going for a nice full look with some highlights popped out throughout so yeah. So what i'm going to do now is i'm going to blow out my hair um blow out my hair, then i'm gon na part it off. I'M probably just gon na keep a little part, so i'm gon na part it off around the perimeter. Maybe like our inch or two back around the whole perimeter, so that can be left out so i'll be able to pull it up in a ponytail and then i'm going to go ahead and start installing so stay tuned. Okay, so, like i said i am about to start sectioning off my hair, i'm just going to keep it a middle part. I mean you can put it in like a vixen sew in where you have four sections, so you can like have two ponytails um. You know just so you can part it different ways. All i'm concerned with right now really is just having a middle part being able to put it up in a ponytail. So to achieve that, what i'm going to do is put it down the middle, then i'm going to part about an inch perimeter. All around my head may leave a little bit more out the edges, because so that will be getting the links. Actually, i feel like i never leave enough out and my hair is very fine. It'S not very thick at all, especially since my recent color but i'll talk about that in another time. So i'm going to do the same on the other side and then we can get to installing them. This usually takes me. I'Ve done this like twice or three times so far. It takes me about six hours to do it myself. It usually takes me like three times as long to do it on myself, as it would a client. So this would probably only take me like two hours, two and a half three hours to install on someone. I'M not sure if i want to offer this yet because i need to find more textures, but as of now guess yeah, that's what i'm leaving out i'm about to braid it up and then we can install the links. All the links will be installed in this hair up here i don't know if the parts is perfect, it's probably not, but that is okay, okay, guys, so i'm finally about to get ready to install the things you're going to need. Besides, your eye tips is your beads or your wings comes in different colors. This is black. My hair is dark brown, but it'll work. You need the pliers. You can get a kit, i'm probably going to start selling the kits um but yeah, and then i don't know what you call this like a beader so to prep beforehand. I try to fit as many beads as i can on the beader. Just so you don't have to keep going back, so i'm going to try to fit as many as i can on here and then it's really easy. The install is not hard. It'S just tedious and it's repetitive and um you're going to be doing this a lot. So, at the end of the day, your palm is going to start hurting, so you got to kind of try to use your fingers if you can, but that's hard, so yeah my hand always starts my hand, hurts really bad the next day. After doing this, but basically you're just going to take a little piece of your hair go in rows all the way till you get up to the top of your crown you're going to take one link, a piece of your hair slide, the um bead on with Your hair and then you just slide your hair into the into the link. That'S pretty much. It then tighten it. It'S really simple, but i'm going to show you guys, okay guys, so i am at the top of my head now, it's easier for me to show you like this, because it's a pain in the ass trying to get it in the back and it looks it Takes a while, i am probably on our, i started at two: it's almost eight, so yeah like i said it probably takes me about six hours. I did just stop for like a half an hour and eat, so i'm on track. I'M almost done. I'Ve just been doing little parts little small straight across sections through the back until i got to right here now, i'm doing small sections here and i will show you how so like i said you prep your beater, whatever you call it and then i'm going to Take small sections, keep it consistent. My links are very small, so i can't fit too much hair in it. Put the hair through slide one of the links up push it all the way up, pull it up and pull the beater out. Now you got that so now, i'm going to take a piece. I'Ve been alternating for the highlight and for yeah just black. So i'm going to do a highlight this time. You just take it and it's really. You have to practice your hand position, but i'm just going to slide this right through the top. Now you want to make sure that it's not touching your scalp, because you won't be able to pull your hair up. It'Ll poke you, so you don't want that. So you want to kind of keep it off the scalp and then, when you've got it, where you want it to be, you just tighten it with the pliers and there you have it so like i said this is 16 inches, because i wanted to keep it Um just a little bit longer than my natural hair. I just want it to be more full, try this length out, because it is more full because it's a shorter length just like bundles the smaller the length is the more hair you'll get with bundle and that's true with the micro length. So i wanted it to be more full because my hair really is like a 3b 4a and so really, if you have 4a hair like me, these will work for you. I know i posted 3b 3c, but it's really probably i mean the longer links is probably 3b 3c. The shorter links can definitely work for 4a, but it's really just tedious repetitive, but it's very easy. You just have to stay consistent with the parting and just get in the rhythm like when you first start, especially in the back of the head it's hard, but once you get the rhythm once you get, the flow it'll come more natural to be a little easier And definitely hand position is probably one of the hardest things to just to figure out how to position your hands so that you can get the link. I tip into the link. Sorry, it's kind of hard to push it in there. Sometimes, and sometimes you have to restart okay when you're brushing this especially curly hair, you definitely want to hold the ends, ends to roots and then even so still hold the roots, because you don't want to pull your links out so definitely be ginger when you're moving Towards the top of your head, because yeah you do not want to pull your legs out and you can and you will, if you're too, if you're not holding it. If i was doing this without holding my hair, i would pull all the links out. You may even pull your real hair out, definitely make sure you're gripping the hair like this, when you're brushing it and try to definitely make sure it's wet, while doing so makes it easier. But it's so pretty. I will um make another video showing you that the hair does get really straight too. You can press this out me personally, i'm not that big of a fan of straight hair straight hair. Just really doesn't do anything for me and i don't like messing up my curls, so i'm gon na switch straight here, but i will straighten this out one time for you guys. So you can see. Let me show you the frozen versus what the natural looks like. So pretty so i'm gon na do the same on the other side and i'll be back so, okay guys, so i am finally done. As you can see, it is so pretty 16 inches with a pop of highlight nice natural link. I need to do something natural. This time i probably am going to go ahead and diffuse it, so we can see what it looks like. I'M sure this can get really big, but i think it's the perfect one, so i'm gon na go ahead and diffuse it right, quick, okay. So this is what it looks like dry and i'm just gon na pick it up, so we can get more volume. So pretty so, like i said this is my cambodian kinky curly soft kinky curly. You can get this off my website inkmedia.com. It is pre-order only it takes about eight business days, sometimes less to make, and then shipping is two to three business days. I do ship worldwide, but um. I don't. I can't give you an exact time how long it's going to take, because sometimes it has to go through customs and that can take. I don't know if that can take forever in custom, so i really can't give an exact date for worldwide shipping, but i do ship priority usps, no matter what so yeah i love this look. This is 16 inches and, like i said you can get this hair off inkmedio.com. Hopefully this video was a little more helpful than before. Like last time. It really was not a tutorial at all. This time i tried to explain it a little bit more. Hopefully it helped, but this is it. This does go to 28 inches. I think, but just keep in mind just like bundles the longer the hair, the less you get with this being micro links, the less you get means is going to get thinner faster, so um. I don't really recommend to go extremely dumb long with this hair because it's not like bundles. I will try to offer bundles, i'm also looking into tape, um tape in um hair, but yeah cambodian stuff, kinky curly. I love it. You can find this hair on ink me up.com, and i will see you guys next time. Thank you guys for watching you
