Affordable Clip In Extensions Are Back?! Summer Balayage Hair Tutorial | Mhot Hair Review

What'S up beauties, it's Lindsey welcome back to my channel today, I'm giving you guys a hair tutorial that has been filmed for the second time. You guys saw this on Instagram before I think was right before Jun started and everything just like samples girl. So I did go ahead and refilm this tutorial for you guys, and I hope you guys enjoy it. It'S a perfect summer. Balayage lip so I'm gon na show you guys how I transform my hair with cliff and extensions to get this look. So if you want to know how to achieve it, keep on watching alright. So this is my natural hair straightened. I did wash it earlier today and then I blow dried it and straightened it. I usually don't like straightening my hair, the same day that I wash it because I feel like a style doesn't hold as well, because my hair is just like super clean right now, but it's okay, we're gon na get through this together. Also, as you can see, my ends are not looking fabulous, but when working with extensions I feel like this is always best because it will blend better with the extensions. If your ends aren't like a blunt cut, I don't want to say you don't want to have healthy ends, but you know these don't look that good, but it blends really well. So the extensions I'm gon na be styling today are from menthe hair. I used to say em hot and I was like oh, this is my hope. I think the box is super cute. Look at the little bow so inside you do get your extensions up top we'll talk about those in a second. You also do get a pair of lashes and there was also a little tester strip here as well. You do want to try out this strip first and make sure you do like the color before you return it or anything like that, and that little tester strip is a usable clip. It'S just a little one clip left, but you don't have to worry about just having to sew a clip on it yourself, alright. So these are the extensions and I feel like they're, looking a little bit more golden on camera than in person. These are 20 inches and it is a hundred eighty percent density. Now I do wish. I got two packs of hair. As you can see, my hair is thick okay, but I just love having fuller, thicker hair. So if you do have big grand a net you're, definitely probably gon na want to two packs of hair, but we can make this work it's doable now, if you include that tester strip, you do get for one clip laughs, two clip laughs three clips into four Clip left now, let's talk about a few more specs before I start clipping these in these are lace wefts on the clips, so they're very comfortable on the head. I love that very snug very secure the hair itself. I have not experienced any tangling or shedding, and I've had these for over a month. This is actually my second time filming this video, because I'm a Mike gal here me yeah. I'Ve had these for over a month and I have not experienced any tingling or shedding the ends. Do look very natural. It'S not the thickest extensions. I'Ve tried, but I think it's a pretty like medium coverage. If we're gon na, compare this to like foundation, get a good medium coverage of these. Lastly, I do just want to touch on the color now I will have it listed right here, because I don't really member it's like a pp8 to some Ellis right here, but I really wish this dark. Color came down a little bit more because I feel like it would blend a lot better with this dark color right here. I do like it, but I feel like balayage is a little bit more. I need some more dark tones in here for everything to blend. Really well, but that really is always a chance you take when ordering balayage or ombre extensions you're, never quite sure how the colors are going to transition. So if you do just get a solid color extension you're fine, but we got to make this valley a short we're gon na start at the very bottom back. I have not shown y'all extensions and so long, I'm pretty sure if you've been watching my videos or you've just done extensions before you guys know how to cook them in. But if not, oh I'm, starting from the bottom. Just gon na tie that up, starting with the two clip left, I'm just going to clip that at the top, and sometimes I like to just braid this bottom section of my natural hair and then put the clip on top of that. Because then, you won't see that you won't see that action, but since these aren't the thickest extensions, it's okay, I'm just gon na leave it like that, and you really just keep going like. I said you do get to two clip left to three clip less to four clip weft and four little one clip West. So taking another's our section, all right. Second West is clipped in. So you can see what I'm talking about see how my natural hair comes down to here and I feel like I need the darker parts of the extensions that come down a little further too. I like to save the two clip buffs for the top right here, where my part is so we're just going to keep going in with the three and four clip laughs here. It might get a little tricky because you kind of just have to I like where your hair is at and then how many extensions you have left it's a very strategic process. Okay, that's what I'm getting it. So I am just gon na. Do a four clip left right here and you'll see that it doesn't come all the way here, but it's fine, because we're about to cover it up with a with two three clip was alright. So now I'm gon na do a three clip left on each side and, like I said, that's covering up that little space that we didn't get to over there just gon na hit it three clip it. You'Re gon na have to do like a horseshoe around your head. Also make sure you feel where the clips are, because you don't want, especially when you're doing kind of like a curved clip. You don't want any bumps. So if you need to adjust the clips go ahead and do that, you want it to lay flat but no track. Show you see where you can see all this, this action, that's what I'm gon na take one clip left and cover that up. Mm-Hmm we're gon na go a little bit higher than the other side, because I realized I use that to clip left the first. That was the first well phase, so I only had one to clip left left. So, let's put this one a little bit higher all right, so we just have to one clip: whoops left just find a spot just wherever you feel like you need it put it. I feel like here that works. Look, how pretty it is. Yes, hello, girl! You see that body ooh all right, so now it's time to curl the hair. Today, I'm using the power wind Pro 781 tourmaline ceramic interchangeable, curling iron, it's svet! You can get this off of Amazon. I will have it linked below, along with the extensions as well I'll, have all that linked below for you guys to check out, but this is the second 7 in one set. I'Ve ever tried this one comes in a really nice traveling set, which my other one did. Not. I mean traveling storage. You know if you're a hair stylist on the go. This is great for you, but even just for storage. My other one. I'Ve just got rods. Just in my cabinets, so this one has all seven rods here. The base was right here, but I have that plugged in right now, so you will get different sizes and shapes. As you see here, we've got a nice pointed one here is a smaller cylinder. If you do want tighter curls right here, we've got a pretty big barrel. I'M not gon na be using this size today, but this is good if you do want to achieve like a beach wave curl. This is a medium sized one and I think I'm gon na be using this one today. We'Ve also got the pearl shape now. This was an interesting one. I'Ve never seen this like it's kind of like the reverse cone that I showed you guys first and then we've got one more cylinder, that's a little bit smaller than this one. Now, before I get started with curling, I do want to go in with my main magic primer. This is from even NYC domain magic, ten-in-one primer, and I like using this before styling. My hair just feel like it holds better. My hair looks better feels better, so I just spray that alright. So this is the base. It also has a swivel cord, so you can be on this side. Then you could be on this side. I really like that at swivels because it makes your hand not cramp up. I don't know if you guys have those problems, but I have this wrong. My hand starts cramping, so I like that it moves with you, so you don't have to like be in uncomfortable positions, so you're, just gon na take the rod that you want. Stick it in there lock it into place. Wait that way, yeah lock it into place. We'Re to go, it's not gon na fall off um, and what I really like about this is that it has a dial y'all, hear that wait. I'Ve never seen that. So it's a dial to turn it on or off, there's also a dial to turn up the heat. It goes all the way up to 450, I'm gon na put it for ten a little hot um, and then you just press the button again to lock it. Just how we clipped, in the extension, that's kind of how I'm gon na be curling it as well. Okay, so we're gon na tie that up. Oh, I forgot to tell y'all. It also comes with a glove, but I live life on the edge taking my wand. I am just gon na to start with these bottom sections. I know y'all see that dark spot. It'S not here. It'S just a dark spot, but yeah. I'M gon na hold this for about 10 seconds and then just let loose y'all know how it is so, like you start off, holding it long. You'Re, like yeah we're gon na do this evenly on each piece, and then you get a little lazy and you stop doing that correct. So this side is all curled. It'S still looking messy cuz we're not going to comb through it or add any more product. Until I finish this side - and I am holding these curls a little bit longer than I did the bottom sections just because I like it more defined up top, especially when you get right here to the very front sections - these are like the best cups right here. So make sure you hold that for a good amount of time when I go in with my brush and just brush through the curls.
