HAve fun learning how to put in feather hair extensions, they are super fun and fast!

you can go to:

http://www.famousfeathers.com to see where I got all my feather goodies!

You hi everybody, it's candy and I'm going to show you something so fun today, I'm going to show you how to put better extensions in your hair, they're, so awesome and fun. You can change them. They last one to six months, depending on how you take care of them. You can wash on the blow dryer curl them flat item they're super fun and since you know, I'm a big fan of wearing the feather earrings. When the feather of hair extensions came out. I thought how fun it's like a permanent way. Your earrings won't fall out. You can add more feather enos to everything, so it's super fun, really easy and really fast. I'M gon na show you how to do it. So these are the tools that you're going to need first you're, going to need these little primping blocking needs. These are dark for some specks, the shade of my hair there's also these the light ones for blonde or light hair and brown for lighter red hair. These are awesome because they have silicone inside them which are different than some of the ones. You did the beauty supply, that is, the plastic. I'Ve really fine thin hair, so you want the silico to help grab it in it will hold them in better and keep them longer lasting. So I got these at famous feathers, calm! It'S actually where I got all these tools, so I'll put a link. So you can see where to get them to next. You need this a little crimping tool which helps crimp the bead to hold on your hair, and you also use this to remove them when you're ready to take your extension out next you're going to need this little hook. Tool like this with this little latch part that helps pull the hair through a pair of scissors. You can use a hair clip if you want to and you're going to need the feathers, so you can get them a little bundles like this they're pre-made. So you can already already have ones that are fair, like they're attached together and they have the different colors or you can get the whole strips like this in all these fun colors. I really like this one to have like a mix of different, highlight and reds, which will look good for darker hair too. So, let's it go and I'll show you how to do it so fun, easy and fast shipping. I love it little crimping these, like this you're, going to take your hook and slide him right through, like that then you're going to take this section of hair and grab several pieces of hair that you want to attach it to so I'm going to take this Section I'm going to give them a twist so that all the hairs are uniform and stuck together open up your little latch door hook it around your hair, then you're going to slide the bead, which will close the little door also and pull them through now. You'Re going to hold the bead up there like that you're going to grab your bundle of feathers and you're going to slide them. Hopefully, you can see what I'm doing right in to the little tube right there now you're going to take a little crimping tool like this you're, going to place him around there and give him a little smash and tada he's locked into place. You can give them a couple more creeps like that, and if you see this little pokey part is sticking up and you want to cut that off feel free to cut that off or if the piece is too long and your hair is short, you can just Trim the feathers trim them up here and then stick them. So the ends have the nice little points still attached and look how fun that is. I love that color. I wish I had more of those. I don't know I think about one of those. So then you have it in expect in your hair. So if you put your hair up, you can curl the feathers you can wash them. You can do everything like normal, I'm going to show you how to do one more superfast on this side. So here we go superfast take your hook, slide them through the bead. I kind of wanted to be in hidden in my bangs here. So I'm going to grab a section right here, give him a twist open up the little hook door, latch them around the hair near the roots, hold the bead there and pull all my hair through that way. I want it to lay down over here, so I'm going to take my little bundle of hair and we're going stick them right into a little bead right there, I'm going to take my little crimping tool, I'm going to give them a smash. Now we have highlights in our bangs and you control them, make them blend in better on because sometimes they get a little bent when they're being shipped to, but you could just trim them away. So there's your super fun way to add feather hair extensions. It'S a safe way to add, highlights um to your hair without damaging your hair, especially if you have really dark hair like mine, and if you curl your hair, you can curl them up. If you have shorter hair just trim and adjust into the Lincoln, everybody can have super fast and beautiful fun, feathers in your hair, so I have fun. I hope you guys like this and we'll see you in the next video bye. I almost forgot to show you how to take them out. Okay, so here's the extension that we have right there now he's flattened this way. So all we want to do is smash him sideways like that, and it will break his little seal. So we have them. Flattened right there going with your little tool, give them a squeeze and everybody slides, leaving one more little squeeze there. We go and everybody slides right off and we are Dee feather hair extension. Okay, now see you next video bye,

Mercury Blue: I have been wearing feather extensions for over a year. I love them but I am ticked at how much even the lowest prices salons want to place and move them when it is time. Erin: The blue coloured feathers looked really good on you!

LIAandCARLA: Soooo pretty:) I'm ordering some today!

Justina Schrieber: Thank you Kandee!!!! :) I really like that idea!!!! When I get some money saved up, and everything like that, I will try that on my hair. I only have one question though. Can I tease my hair with them in my hair without my comb or brush getting caught in them? I have silver tinsel in my hair, and my comb and my brush always gets caught in the bead. Do you have any suggestions at all on what I can do to prevent that from happening?

littlexstereo: really great video! I can't wait to get mine in the mail. Turned out great and I'm going to get her to add more in tomorrow! i'm really excited about this! It looks sort of complicated to do by myself:/

Tina Quichocho: LOVE it...thanks for the tutorial...i was wondering how the heck to do them!!! THANKS :)

Courtlyn Ardito: You're so cute! :D Also, this is so cool, and I really want to try this. And I worried about it a little, because I do a lot of theatre, but since they're so easy to take out, it wouldn't be an issue. Thank you so much! :)

ellatheevil: In Maui, where the hair feather mind-set is "go big or go home" (everyone has several bunches, and they use normal feathers as well as rooster feathers), they make a braid about and 1/2 in. - 1 in. long before they put on the bead. This reduces dreading, makes it last months longer, and allows you to put them further down the hair shaft without it hurting. I have had extensions put in both ways and the braid is by far a superior technique to twisting.

caittyk: Does anyone know if the beads with the silicone makes it thicker and more noticeable than the ones w/o silicone?

Kristine Lai: these are really cute, i fnally go my feathers in yesterday at the salon! really happy :)

Tamelca: Hi Kandee, thanks for your beautiful tips and tricks. You are such an inspiration and such a positive, radiant person. Mitakuye Oyasin. :-)

Vicky Bjorn Weytjens: Beautiful, after seeing this I searched the web and bought a mix of 18 strands of Etsy. I hope I don't have trouble putting them in

Haezel Mae: Hey Kandee. I just have one question...What colors best complement dark hair?

makingmemories3: Great instructions! Thanks

Allison Nowacki: i'm definitely getting these! LOVE them

Georgia F. Butler: Ok ZALA have by far the highest remy grade tape extensions I have ever used!! I would definitely recommend plaiting your hair before bed to make sure they don't tangle because I have been doing that everynight and these extensions have stayed so soft, thick and silky.

tootruefox: That looks so EZ I can't Wait to try it!

SooYoungSong1: they look like soo much fun!! can't wait to get them!! XD

Johanna Pelayo: URGENT: so how long do the extensions last on without falling by putting them on this way?

swanmonkeyastronaut: Great video! Very helpful.

RosaB61: good job! love your enthusiasm...a true artist!

BRINASfaces: this hair style reminds me of Sierra Kusterbeck's hairstyle. especially when she showed the chunky multicolored extensions, like Sierra has, and then the feathers reminded me of her hair style so much!

michele13XD: Awww I'm planning to get them :D they are so cute!

Mimi Jiménez: Yay! Thanks Kandee! I Just did this and I love it! XD <3

Ellis N.: Hi Kandee. (: I was wondering if you know how to put the feather extensions back in after they fell out. I got mine at a salon a few months ago and love love love them! I had just taken a shower and was brushing my hair and I accidentally got one of the bristle things on the brush caught in the extension and it ripped out. I REALLY want to put them back in so if you know, please make a video! (: Everyone, please like this so that Kandee can see it. (: Thank you!

luvtunes09: they look soo good and you make it look really easy-but where do these come from? are they real feathers or fake -are they cruelty free??? I would love to know :) Fingers crossed they are!

Amy Steffy: thank you, thank you, thank you!! this helped SO much!!! im going to be getting them tomorrow!! :] xoxo

Dawnofoffset: Does this damage your hair? I really wanna do it! Sooo pretty!

midnightdecaf: Thank you for this video! Just curious- I went to the website you got all the tools from and could not find the pulling- hook, all they had was a "wire threader" tool...is this the same thing? will it work or do I need a "pulling tool"? thanks!!

Tess Doherty: this is soo cool. would you be able to do a video of your make up collection?? thanks xx

Darth Krakus: Kandee, you're adorable! Thanks for sharing your videos =D

Jessica Dennison: That looks like fun. I will have to try it :)

Pinkbear695: can you re-used the feather extentions once you remove them?

Mallory C: If you're a redhead, I recommend a blond clamp bead. The majority of redheads, like myself, have blonde streaks or natural highlights and the blond bead will blend in better.

Wolfmaedchen: I got one while I was staying in Canada, I looove the bohoish look of them! Mine is light blue!

AlinaIsNotGone: it look so great, does it work on short hair too?

Emily Kendall: Can you use regular pliers instead of the special crimp tool?

Ashleigh Robin: When these first started, I thought they were dumb. But mow I think they look real neat. I'm going to the salon tomorrow... Going to ask about getting feathers!

Kate Manos: Oh my gosh...i looked for a video for feather hair extensions and i found you. You are SOOO exciting!! Hahaha i loved it! Definitely subscribing :)

2003Destiny: great tutorial, glad you showed how to remove them.

Johanna Pelayo: @kandeejohnson URGENT: so how long do the extensions last on without falling by putting them on this way? i must know because i will be buying some soon.... how long do the actual feathers last if they are natrual rooster feathers?
