Beginner Friendly Quickweave Tutorial

Hey y'all, welcome or welcome back to my channel. It has been a really really long time since i picked up this camera and filmed a tutorial, but i figured why not just come on here and show y'all the steps that i take to do. My quick weed and without further ado, if you want to see how i got this, look, keep on watching, hey, y'all, okay, it's been long, long overdue me giving you this quick tutorial, but some really quick specs about this hair. It is from totally raw extensions. It'S four bundles of their lego, loud wavy, hair um. I used about three and a half bundles and i also had this random blonde bundle that i got from the beauty supply store. So, like i said so, here's my quick mow down and i just kind of do my tracks going across and then, as i go further up on the head. You'Ll see me kind of curve the tracks. So this is what helps my quick weave. Look. The most natural, and because i kind of wanted, like peekaboo, highlights with this color you're, going to see me going in like two rows of black two rows of blonde and then, as i get to the top of my head, i go like strategically in with the Blonde pieces but you'll see that a little bit later, chad, i'm so glad. I got this video up for y'all, though, because y'all are about to kill me. Okay, so now you're gon na start to notice how i'm going further up in the head. But now i'm starting to be real strategic on how i'm placing these white blonde pieces, because i still want most of my hair to be black with, like peekaboo white blind highlights. So you'll. See me like just cut a small piece here, because that's the only highlight that i want, but i'm about to put a black track over it, so yeah, okay, so we are on bundle number three. I believe so you see how thick this hair is for one, but for two i want y'all to pay attention to how i am laying these tracks. The key to having a super flawless, quick weave is one you don't need a lot of leave out. Only leave out the hair, that's gon na cover your tracks on your edges and then your part of course, but if you notice i'm starting to curve the tracks, it's because i want it to fall more in my face than i do the side of my face. If that makes sense, but as you see, i'm gon na take a look comb it through and yeah, and i always just go back and measure the track before i just go ahead and place glue on my head. I'M too scared to like have a glue on my head and then just place the tracks and cut it like most advanced hairstylists. Do i am not a hair stylist. I am giving very much makeup artists, so i stay in my lane. However, i am also the glueing queen, so imma figure out a way and y'all kind of see in a little bit how i'm about to finesse this because um, i was going off of a youtube video, but then i wasn't watching it anymore. So now i was just going off of memory and, to be honest, i don't think sis was doing her gluing like this, but we figured it out. You'Re gon na see me um. I'M just checking my leave out to make sure all my tracks are covered, because i did not leave a lot of edge out because i don't have a lot of edge to get okay. So now is where i'm starting to struggle, because i didn't know how i was going to close this up, because i kind of never did this deep of a side part so yeah enjoy my struggle yeah. I thought i could finish before my client got here, but i'm about to do my client, real, quick yeah. Then i did all that just for my camera to die. So this quality is from my phone, i'm so sorry that it looks crappy, but we're about to try to figure this out. So i gave up on doing a full like c pattern and i just kind of started going in at a slant. I don't know if this helped me or hindered me right now. It'S working for me with so we'll see when it gets old, but yes, okay, i'm starting to feel it. Now, i'm singing my little tunes y'all again gorgeous body gorgeous, looks like a lion's mane. I'M like obsessed - and this is the part where i struggled the most - because i can't get a straight part - to save my life, but thank god for black hairspray. It comes in handy for things like this, but yeah, i'm about to flat iron. This i don't use a lot of product in my hair, so let me mention that so i'm about to flat iron this and use a hot comb, but i use like no type of wax stick or anything. I just hop calm didn't flat iron. It and you'll see it right now: okay, so i'm just going to comb through it and, like i said, i only used a flat iron and a hot comb and, of course, i'll put a little edge control on my edges. So now we are going to cut layers. This is the goat. This is what you need and we are going to be using the side with the smaller teeth and i typically pull my bang first start chain length and excuse my hand. I did my makeup before but um i start chin length and then i just lightly rake the comb down i'll brush through my hair flip it back just so i can see where the layer will hit. If i want it shorter. I go a little bit above my chin and then i just kind of use that initial cut as my guide for the rest of the hair. Another really good tip for layers is always follow your guide and always use light pressure and combing motions down for the opposite side. I typically go in with i started chin, and sometimes i go a little bit longer just because i don't necessarily like face framing layers on my side parts but anyways. I just start a little bit longer and i go down, but i'm always going to connect it back to my guide. Okay. So it's now time to curl, i'm gon na go ahead and curl my first or comb out. I'M sorry my first piece and i'm gon na teach you how to curl your hair today so feed the hair through and you're gon na twirl and pull twirl pull twirl pull and twirl, and you want to keep doing that until all. Well, it's up to you. If you want the type of curls that you'll see at the end, you want to twirl it all the way up, hold it for a couple of seconds. This is the trick and you're gon na. Let it go hold it in your hand and excuse this ugly face. I ain't messing around okay, hold it and then you let it go. Show you one more time feed it bend, twirl, pull and then another good thing. You always want the hair. That needs to be curled to be underneath that part that you're curling, as you can see so yeah pull twirl, pull twirl, pull twirl and then y'all can even see a little closer. Now how i laid the tracks with my thin edges, it still works. You don't see the beginning of the track so make sure you always curve your tracks up, but yeah continue watching me curl this hair also another way to get really nice and fluffy curls is to alternate them. So do some curling towards the face and some away from the face, especially when you get closer to the top of the hair right here, like with the bang, definitely want to alternate the curls y'all. It had been a long filming day. I didn't even notice that i missed a whole section of hair, but hey it is my favorite part. Y'All are y'all ready, don't play with me. Come on. Please stop come on y'all book me link in bio for makeup. Only though i don't really know what i'm doing my hair, but i snap, let me go ahead and stand up so y'all can see it. I added some slight layers in my hair to get it like this. This hair again is from totally raw extensions. This is their louisian wavy hair. I have in four bundles of 24 inch and then this random blonde stuff that you're seeing is from 613 here from the beauty supply store, and i only got it in 16 inches because i want about to spend um no more than like forty dollars on some Beauty spots right here, but anyways yeah until next time, bye and yeah y'all know i have to get a little slow-mo in there, so y'all can really get into this hair. But thank you. Thank you. Thank you. If you came from tic toc, please leave me a peace sign in the comments and thank you so much for being so patient with me. I suck at this youtube thing, but i will only get better from here. I love y'all
