So I Tried Tape In Extensions | Best Texture For Natural Hair

Hey guys welcome welcome back, i got my hair done, no more red, we're we're black again. So i have tape ins and i absolutely love them. I went to the salon in sandy springs called perfect distractions. You guys i have the like um afro straight, which is like a kinky straight texture and baby. She silked it out. Okay, this hair matches my hair so good because i was like if i was to get tape ins. I don't want anything that wouldn't match my hair y'all know my favorite hair texture is like kinky straight so baby and it's so light like i feel like i have my clippings in, but i don't and it feels so good, so give me a yeah right. How should we a hair straightener, you know we always need straighteners, how cute yeah buddy. I need a straightener this size with like wider plates, because i think i have like a one straightener. So this one is two inches. How nice is that and these plates get real close together, so this is cute thanks. So much you guys but yeah. Let me show you how long it is because i got 26 inches and then i got some layers in the front. So it can, you know, be a little more natural, so it's 26 inches. We trimmed a little bit of it, hey guys, so we're back we're doing we're doing our hair. So it's looking. It'S looking a mess, it's looking a mess, but it's been almost two weeks since i got my tape, ins in so so let me comb this hair out because i look a mess but okay, so it's been almost two weeks. It'Ll be two weeks tomorrow, since i have my tapings in and so far i'm gon na list all the things, because this is new to me. Um, it's new to me. So first things. First, the texture i have is um an afro straight texture. The texture match is amazing. It'S like kinky straight so the blend with my natural hair. It'S amazing and it's straightened out you guys, hair match is like a1, so i love that it blends so well with my natural hair. I don't have to worry about. You know it looking fake and my hair is pretty textured, it's really textured. Actually, so you guys know. I love me some afro kinky textured hair, so the texture is amazing. Um. I do like the versatility of tape ins. I like that i could put my hair in a ponytail, but then i don't like that because i want to be able to put my hair in a ponytail. More hair is left out than i personally would like. So i feel, like you know you can see where my hair and the extensions meet now, of course, if you got you know layers in the like in the middle, maybe it wouldn't look like that or if you keep your hair, curled or crimped or whatever the Case may be, you know, you won't have that issue so yeah, that's the only thing. I would say that i don't like about the tape ins that the the install for me isn't that seamless, i'm used to my hair, just blending. You can't tell where the extensions start and stop at so that's a little something to think about if you wanted to be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or if you got your hair as long as i got so, of course, if you had a Shorter length than baby, this would be amazing, so love the versatility of it. So today we're going to put our hair in a ponytail and i'm gon na curl, the ponytail i'm still getting used to the tape ends like i'm still getting used to it like it's. A very interesting install, if i do say, show my shelf. That'S the only thing it takes some getting used to yeah. It just takes some getting used to, but i've been getting. Compliments non-stop on this hair non-stop and i don't know if i mentioned. I went to a salon in sandy springs, called perfect distractions. The hair extensions come from perfect distractions as well, and they not only sell tape ins. They do clip-ins, they do regular, bundled hair, tapens eye tips. You guys when i tell you like it's the blend. For me, the hair is so pretty so so pretty so i'm just working my way up. Here'S the tape in right here. So it's been almost two weeks and look at the grow out already like look at that just kind of keep trying to work. This ponytail up to where i like it and then i'm gon na, come back when i'm about to curl it. Okay ponytail is in tact and i'm just going to curl the ponytail. When i went to my appointment, they gifted me with this curling iron or flat iron. I think i showed you guys already, but i'm gon na use that so now i'm going to work on my edges and for my edges, i'm actually going to use this itty bitty flat iron. I have hairspray and a little h brush. So we're going to do our sideburns as well all right, so i'm going to curl my sideburn this right, this little flat iron is so good. I got this from amazon for like 20 bucks - maybe not even 20 - bucks, maybe like 18., but it's so good for, like i use it on my edges, but also using when i'm like straightening my edges or like the nape, where i'm scared to use like a Regular size, flat iron, i use this little baby, teeny pencil iron, so yeah just gon na curl our edges, so we can make the ponytail real cute like so like so, okay cool and so now, i'm just gon na go in with my hair spray and my Little brush and i find that using the hairspray is so much better than only using edge control because with my hair eventually like ill, my edges will fluff back up, so it's like they were never slicked down, but with the hairspray they literally stay down. Oh, my gosh that almost sprayed in my eye, so i'm just to spray my um brush and i'm just going to slick it and the key is to like slick it and hold it so that you know it'll stay dry. So i just lick it and i hold it to make sure it's going to stay. Sometimes i use a blow dryer, but i didn't bring my blow dryer to the bathroom, so we're just gon na hold it and, as you hold it, it'll just kind of like dry. Luckily, hairspray dries fast see and i like it when it's like flicked out hold it until it like dries and then voila. So this is the look i'll, probably go back in a little more serum but yeah. This is pretty much. This is it. This is all i've been doing. I absolutely love it. I think it's just so cute and the hair is super light like it's really lightweight, it's really light, but it's it's the blend. For me, i dyed my hair jet black and then the stylist um shayna. She dyed the extensions jet black and it's like perfect. I am in love, so yeah um yeah. That'S it i'm gon na list. The hair salon that i went to i'm also gon na put a link to the extensions as well.
