What'S up guys welcome back to my channel so, like i told you guys, i was going to be getting more into my natural hair. I said it and i meant it so, starting out i went to my boy, al um. I found him on instagram. One of my followers sent him to me. She recommended him to me, so thank you so much swanees. She recommended al for all things: natural hair care, and initially i wasn't looking to get micro links or eye tips, but i was like when i seen his work and his reasonable pricing. I was like, oh my god i might as well try it out, especially since i want to wear my hair majority of the time, and i just feel like i tips or micro links, because i honestly wasn't sure which one i wanted. Initially. I just felt like either or would be good for someone who wants to wear their natural natural hair out on a regular basis, but doesn't feel like they have enough length or a body. So that's me, so that's why i decided to go with either microlinks or eye tips. To be honest, going into it. I really didn't know what the difference between michael links and i tips were, but the thing that i love about al is that he is very educational, he's very knowledgeable in all things that he's talking about. So you know you're not just talking to someone or letting someone get in your hair who wants a quick money grab? He knows what he's doing he's educated and he knows his stuff, and he educated me and let me know the difference between the itips and the microlinks was basically that microlinks is very similar to a braille is sewing. If, if it's not that it's pretty much a braidless sew-in, so you're still using tracks, i never knew that. I always thought that micro links were just the same. As i tips, i just thought the words were interchangeable, but no eye tips is what i decided to give, which gives you a little bit more flexibility. It allows the hair to move more in a 360 direction versus where you have the micro links. Um, your hair can pretty much only go up and down for the most part, so that's just a little background, a little education on what i learned and why i decided to get eye tips specifically. So if you do hear me saying micro links, excuse me i'm still trying to get out of the habit of confusing the two so starting out, i booked my consultation with al, which was i'm not even sure how much the consultation was if it cost anything at All it probably was free, i'm not really sure, but i will have the link to his booking site down in my description box and i'll pin it in the comments section. If you guys do want to book a consultation with him, a consultation is required to get this service anyway. So you got to do that anyway. Girl but i booked the consultation and we talked about some of my hair goals and what i was looking for and where i wanted to go, and we decided that i tips would be the best option for me and for my goals. So that's what you see. Well, that's what you're about to see me getting installed right now. You just see his lovely lovely assistant sydney. She was so sweet. She was amazing if you've never gotten your hair professionally washed. I highly suggest it. I know these days all these stylists want you to come wash come blow dried and come detangle, but to get your hair professionally washed. Oh my god. It feels like a luxury and it shouldn't really be a luxury. It should just be what comes with anytime. You get your hair done, but that's another conversation for another day, but sydney did an amazing job. I was very relaxed very calm during the whole, washing of my hair. So, as you can see, she's just washing my hair, getting it all clean so that al can get in there and do his work and we don't have any build up in my hair. I'M not really sure products were used, but i know that al does have a partnership with mazani, so i'm pretty sure that all products that were used in my hair are by masani. Don'T quote me, though, if you really want to know, i would suggest you dmile on instagram, which his instagram is across the screen and ask him personally for yourself, but i'm pretty sure all lasagna products were used in my head. So at this point this is just a simple wash. You know what i'm saying: i'ma speed it up, real quick for you all. You guys have seen this before. I'M sure you have. If you had the service, you know, what's going on, she's, just really doing a really amazing job really taking her time and focusing on my temples, um. Oh, i wanted to come and say that when sydney was detangling, my hair, i didn't feel a thing you all like. She had washed my hair and detangled it so well with the water on it that when it was time to detangle with the conditioner, i didn't feel a thing. The brush was literally slipping right through, like she did a really really really good job, and i appreciate that she worked on my hair in sections instead of trying to do everything at once. Next, she put me under the steamer, which, oh, my god, as you can see by my face, i really enjoy being under the steamer. I'M not exactly sure what the steamer does, but it's my second time being under one in my life, and i really really really do like it. I can tell that it does make my hair a little bit softer other than that. I really don't know what else it does, but it's probably my favorite part. So so i sat under the steamer for about 15 minutes. I didn't include all of that just because no it wasn't really much to see. It was just me under the steamer and now sydney's gon na rinse, the rest of that conditioner out of my hair and proceed to get me prep to blow dry me now that i'm out from the washbowl sydney is about to section my hair off, so that She can get ready to blow dry me. One thing that i learned from watching these clips back and from al teaching me is that when you're doing your natural hair or just your hair in general, you really should work in small sections, the smaller the sections, the smaller amount of hair you have and the Easier, it is to manage sydney section, my hair off into about six different sections before she blow dry. My hair and i've never done that. The most i've done is four, but seeing her section it off into six sections and then seeing the results did make me see the difference in the blow dry and the difference in the technique. So if you're doing your hair at home just use smaller sections, it does take longer, but the results last - and i also like that she rolled my hair up into the bantu knots, because that helped each little section retain this moisture a little bit better versus. When i do it at home, i'll just leave it like up in a clip or up in a ponytail holder and by the time, i'm on the third section, it's kind of dry and it hurts a little bit. None of this hurt it with sydney doing my hair from the washing to the detangling to the blow drying. None of this felt painful, none of it felt like it was pulling. None of it felt like it was tension. It all felt really good and seamless, and it really didn't feel like she was doing anything to me fun, so al came in and he took over the blow drying, so sydney could leave for the day and i'm not sure exactly what type of serum. This is that he applied to my hair, but he applied a very small amount of a serum, and i wanted to make sure that i came in and made a note of that, because i want you guys to see how shiny my hair is going to be With the tiny amount of product that he used in my head, like, i don't think i've ever seen such a small amount of product used in my hair throughout the entire duration, even from the wash and then my hair turned out to be so shiny and healthy. Looking like, i was truly truly amazed, so just keep on watching. If you want to see that part, i'm gon na go ahead and speed. This clip up boys. I'Ve been watching i've been watching. Is i've been watching like look at that shine honey like look at that shine, my camera isn't even focused on my hair. It'S actually focused on like the door or something right now in this clip, but you can just see how good and healthy and shiny my hair looks like it looks so good and i've never seen my hair, like. I knew that my hair. I know i've never had black hair but to see it like this color. This is my natural hair. Color i've never dyed my hair, i've never colored my hair, and it's just so pretty it's so pretty and it matched with my extensions so so so well, ciao. Look at my hair, my hair looks so good and so healthy. I was just so in love, but i was going to get started on the first section with the ice tips. We didn't really want to focus too much on him, actually installing the eye tips because he does offer a class. So if you are interested in learning how to do this method or his method just go ahead and check out his website dm him on instagram and i'm sure he can provide you with the information on his class. But he was generous enough to show us how he did the first row. Unfortunately, my camera wasn't super focused on my head, so you get what you get, i'm sorry about that, but yeah - and this is what my hair looks like. I purchased this hair. These eye tips from al, i'm not sure of the texture 100. I would have to get that information from al, but these took about two weeks to come in. So when i went for my consultation, i paid my deposit, which was the amount of my extensions which was 350 dollars. I know that my extensions are 18 inches long and i'm really happy that i got 18 inches because i wanted to go longer, but he told me like. No, i think 18 would be good for what you're trying to achieve, and i think so too 18 turned out to be like the perfect natural length. As you guys can see, it looks so good the color blended in with my natural hair color so well. He did not have to color these eye tips for me, but if you do need them to be colored to match your hair color, you can definitely provide that service. I was just lucky enough to have like a perfect match, while al is working on styling. My hair, i wanted to talk about the processing and installation. The insulation did not hurt at all. It literally did not feel like he was doing anything. I did not feel any anything being installed in my head. It'S truly a seamless, install you really don't feel it. It'S very very lightweight, like i have so much hair on my head, and it does not feel like it. My hair feels very lightweight. It feels like it's. My natural hair, literally growing out of my scalp. The process did take a long time. This whole process took six and a half hours, but just installing the eye tips by themself took about three hours, so it did take a while and if you have a bigger hair you can expect for it to take a little bit longer than that. But i just wanted to come on here and note that it isn't a quick um install, but it's definitely worth it. You guys when i tell you my hair, don't feel heavy, it don't feel like hair is all down my back. It truly feels like my natural hair, even in its blown out state like when the hair is like slapping me in the face or touching my face. It doesn't have that irritating feeling like oh this weave on my head. It feels like my natural hair, so i really like that about these eye tips. Another thing i want to make note of is that this is raw hair, so you know it hasn't been dyed, processed, anything it's it's literally like in its most natural form and that's probably why it feels so good and so lightweight on my head. I also wanted to point out another thing that i really like about the hair and i know y'all so tired of me like girl, we get it. You like the hair, you like the install but listen. I pay my money. I'M gon na tell y'all when i like something and another thing that i like about it is that it matches my natural hair texture so well, like y'all know that my natural hair does not get bone straight, like that's just not the type of hair that i Have i have you know a coarser texture of hair? I guess you will call it and i love that these extensions don't get bone straight either, so it just helps it blend even more seamlessly and even more beautifully. If you go to out - and you know, your hair is a finer texture and it does get bone straight, i'm sure that you can talk to him and they have different textures available. But just speaking for me and for the girls with the thicker hair texture, that's one thing i really did like about it. So it's not like you have. You know some super silky hair in your hair and then you have your hair, which is a bit more coarser and curly, and you can easily tell the distinction. You can't really tell the distinction from my hair and from the extensions, and so i really do love that okay for real y'all last thing that i want to say i love. I love that i'll cut the layers in my hair in the front. I don't know i feel like when i see most girls with their micro links and he even cut the bag when i see them with their micro links in their eyes. Hips, their hair doesn't really look super super blended in to me how it should - and i feel like that's because the stylus most of the time doesn't cut their extensions to match the length of their natural hair, which i really don't like. But i really do appreciate that he did that for me and now we're just going to have some fun and show you guys a ponytail test and different styles, that my hair can be worn in i'm so excited to curl this hair and just show you guys How to style these eye tips me and al will have many more videos to come together with him, showing you guys, styles, like braid outs and twist outs and i'll, be showing you guys. Styles, i'm going to be creating an entire playlist on my channel, dedicated strictly to my micro links journey and all of that, so please stay soon. Baby. Look at that ponytail! You can't tell me that that's not all of my real hair that all came from my scalp. I don't care what nobody said that all came from my scalp and al even went in and took out some micro links in some areas and when i tell you even the removal process is seamless like i didn't feel anything when he was removing them. I feel like the removal was easier than the installation, but thank you all for watching. I hope you all enjoyed the video. I noticed that i didn't tell you guys how much i paid for this service. The installation by itself is 550 in addition to the hair, which was the 18 inches that i got you know if you get it longer, it's going to cost more. The 18 inches was 350. Make sure you hit that subscribe button. Make sure you hit that like button leave a comment down below make sure you go follow out, send him some love. Tell him i sent you. Let him know that i recommended you. If you do decide to go to him and i'll see you guys in my next video foreign huh
