Oh I'm feeling cute tiny Wow sis who did your hair Phoebe, hey guys. I'M gon na call welcome to my youtube channel and if this is your first time seeing my face, I'm bebe owner of DHD Hair Studio in extension bar and this video is going to be a micro link tutorial. I'M going to be showing you guys how I get my signature micro link. Look, it's actually a client fave and no worries, I'm a licensed professional, so my advice is found so without further ado. We'Re gon na jump into this video, but I want to remind you guys to wake up pray, get pretty hustling repeat, enjoy the content. I will see you guys back next Monday bye. Let'S get started I'll, be using DHT white label. Extensions in the texture loose wave I'll only use one bundle, because my hair is really fun. I'M gon na quickly show you what your neat and we'll get right into this tutorial. So the first thing you want to do is make a party be very aware to leave out your perimeter hair. That way, you can cover your tracks. I like to place. My micro link beats side-by-side. Instead of leaving a space on the row, I like to put them back to back to back, I just prevents your tracks from slipping prematurely and also keep in mind when you're making each row. It'S totally up to you how much hair you leave out in between you can actually do a micro link set that has no hair left out. So each row has micro links. If that makes any sense, it's your preference, I'm gon na grab my tool and begin clamping. The beads clothes pay close attention to the way I close them, because you want to make sure that the hair is freely able to move up and down and side to side, because you don't want those tracks to be too tight to where they're not flexible. If they're too, tight they're, absolutely too close to the scallop and also if you keep see that I slide down and then clamp that way is not you tight. I actually make a mistake right here and I'm not close enough to the scalp so to open. It clamp the opposite direction and squeeze so really quickly. As we keep watching the video the first track, I was actually out of focus. My camera was lifted too high, so I'm gon na fast-forward the clip and also skip ahead to the next row, just keep in mind that I'm doing this without seeing it. So I am going to make a few mistakes and it's going to look a little messy again, just be a little forgiving to that later in the video I am going to change locations, so I can see, but um just know that when you book a professional, This will be much more neat and just know that if you're doing this on yourself, you may make a few mistakes here and there. But you know you got to work with what you got alright we're on to the second row, and this is what I mean by leaving here out, I'm going to slice this party. But I'm also going to leave here underneath, remember to make sure you leave room for your perimeter here, as I stated before, also guys when I was recording this, I accidentally recorded in time-lapse, so I had to slow down an already sped up clip. So please forgive if it looks a little glitchy. I will get better with my videos, just be patient with me, and I truly thank you guys for watching. I'M also you doing the double width method, just because I want it to be a little fuller. Just know that when you're doing this method, you want to make sure you're going well when you're doing this method period, not just when it's double wefted. You want to make sure that you're going directly under that micro leap also make sure you're secure in that first link. So go through that link a couple of times and then use your finger as a guide to make sure that the needle is actually going up under that link to secure it in place. Right here I started tangling my thread. I was getting so frustrated and instead of starting over, I just folded the thread over and secured it down. Again, I'm doing this on myself. I would never do that on the client. However, we're about to change seams because honey, your girl just, could not do it. This way - and I still wanted to get this video out to you all the rest of this video - it's going to be sped up these simple steps that I've done is really all you need to know we're moving forward with this video. I wanted to show you guys everything simply because I haven't showed a video where you actually get to see track placement. It'S really just like land tracks for any. So in, except your whip, your track is actually going to be the micro links. So now, I'm in my rhythm and I'm actually able to move faster and everything looks much prettier just continue, laying your tracks and you want to base your placement off the clients, hair and also how you want to lay it. You don't have to do. Horseshoe patterns. You can get creative and part everything down the middle and do the whips and each quad. So you have a little bit more flexibility. This look is very customizable. Sorry, it's going so fast! I just don't want this video to be super long, but I also want you guys to see how it looks as I'm going. Also, if you noticed in the beginning of this video, my ends needed a trim very badly. However, I know that I'm not going to be able to cut my hair, like I will be able to cut a client's just from my point of view and doing it myself. So if you notice my ends, aren't trend right here, but that also helps for your hair to blend in seamlessly with the tracks, because you don't have a blunt end. You have a more of a natural tech taper to the hair and it doesn't create a line of demarcation, but I don't recommend that, for you know doing a real client, because you definitely want the ends to be healthy and you're able to cut it. You know what I mean, so you don't have to worry about that part. Just do a nice cut and it'll blend seamlessly. I really enjoyed doing this look guys, but that's pretty much it. I do not show styling or makeup in this video, but if you guys want to see that just comment below and I'll get that video video out make sure you guys thumbs up this video and come back next Monday for another video. I really really love this method before I go and let you guys finish, the video just know that the micro link sewing is very flexible and also it's a good option for many clients now, because most extension companies have many many textures in the beginning. This this method wasn't really um helpful for clients because they didn't have anything to match their texture, but now, thanks to the glow-up, everybody can get this look and if you're, tired of frontals and all that this is a good alternative for a very natural and flat. So in I'm gon na go, I want to remind you guys to wake up, pray, get pretty hustle. Repeat you, girls out, you
