Hi friends welcome back to my channel. If you are new to my channel welcome, my name is dyra, so today i'm going to do tape. Extensions on my client, so the first thing that i'm going to do is to shampoo and condition her hair. Using my love and health, minty love, shampoo and conditioner, and then i will be blow drying her hair. I am using the loving health protect me serum and that is a heat protectant. It gives a shine it conditions and i use that before i blow dry, her hair. I try not to get too much of it on her root because that's where the tape extensions will be going and you don't want any product in that area. Her hair has already been detangled, so i am going to get right to the blow drying process and when i blow dry i use the tension method. So, as you can see, i am just holding the hair straight with the brush. While i blow dry it. I am using the twin turbo 3900 blow dryer. I absolutely love this blow dryer. I can use it on the low setting with low heat and it gets the hair dry and quickly at that as well. So that's one of the reasons that i love this blow. Dryer, all right so after i am done blow drying uh. The one thing that i always do is give my clients a massage. I normally cut this part out, but i feel like showing you guys today. Um i like to give the massage just first of all to relax my client, i mean who doesn't like to get a scalp, massage and then, secondly, is to bring blood circulation to the scalp that aids in hair growth. And lastly, because before i flat iron, i need to make sure that the scalp is fully fully dry and the scalp holds on to moisture that it will release um a few minutes after blow drying. So i kind of like to wait for the scalp to like fully release all the moisture. So while i'm doing that, i just massage my client, so here i am using the bed head wax stick. I do love to apply a little bit of the wax stick around the perimeter of the hair before i flat iron it just because that is the part that reverts back to neck to its natural state. The quickest. So i feel like the wax stick. Just applies a little heaviness to it so that it doesn't curl up so fast, and then i flat iron um her hair. What i'm using is the paul mitchell neural flat iron and um. It is my favorite flat iron right now, and somebody did mention that i should state what temperature i use the flat iron not on for each client, and i really don't remember what i had hers for from now on. I will make a mental note of it. So i can mention it to you guys, but this video was already recorded, but normally i fall somewhere between 380 and 410 420, if i absolutely have to so. Those are the numbers that i fall. You know somewhere in between those all right guys. So now it's time for her cut, as you can see, her ends are really sparse and she has like little gaps in between um her hair strands, so i'm just going in there and removing as little as possible, with still leaving as much length. If that makes any sense, i like to take my time with the trim, because i like to only take off what is necessary. So i take my time and i go in and go through it a couple of times just because i'd rather take off a little bit of a at a time than just take off a whole bunch if it's not necessary, so i'm just going through. I already took off what was bad at the bottom, and now i'm going through the middle of her head and just getting rid of all the split ends and all the see-through hair. That'S in her mid to ends all right. So now that her hair is prepped and ready to go, i will be installing my raw hair tape, extensions and i absolutely love raw hair, guys look at this hair. It looks so good. I am a firm believer and if you guys watch my videos, you would know, i always say that extensions should look like your hair. So that is why i absolutely love raw hair because it's actual real hair. So what tape extensions are they're, basically like a small strip of hair that has tape on it and what you do is sandwich your hair in between them. So, as you can see what i did was a apart a little slice of hair. I put the tape. Extension under it and then what i did was smooth the hair over it and then what wasn't? Sticking to the tape. I actually parted that out because you don't want to leave loose hairs inside um in between both tapes, because i did apply uh the other piece on top and here i'm gon na. Do it again, so you can see you put one on the bottom and one at the top. So you want to make sure that there are no hairs on the sides sticking out and then you want to make sure that you don't leave hair that didn't. Stick to the tape in there, because what it does is create a space in between both pieces and then it won't last as long so that's kind of what you see me doing as i'm applying them and then for her case and she wanted length. And she also wanted fullness. What i did was just put a few of them together right by each other. If she just wanted some sort of fullness, i would have bricklayed them, so i would have put maybe two side by side and then maybe uh three above it then another two. I would have just spaced it out to create fullness, but since she wanted length, i um put them close together. Placement with tape. Extensions are key, and especially when you get to the top, as you can see on the top of her head, she had like that. That part, that was a natural parting for her. So, of course, you would want to pay attention to that, because you wouldn't want to put any tapes up there right in the middle, where you know her. Hair is going to naturally part and then you'll be able to see the tape extensions. So you always want to be mindful, where you put them at so now that they're installed i am going through and just cutting them in a way that will allow them to blend with her hair. So that first piece that i picked up on this side was her natural hair. So what i did was start to trim the extensions where her hair ended, so it can look layered and i am going through and cutting a little bit of layers throughout the hair. You know she she just got this hair, so of course i don't want to go in and chop too much of it off, so i'm just creating some layering so that you know it matches the lens match with her natural hair. So when she moves the hair around and the hair is flowing in the wind, it just looks like she has different lengths in her hair and not that she has, you know added hair in there. So, as you can see guys, this looks really really natural and it looks so nice and full. She can wear just like that if she wanted to, and it can also be put up in a ponytail as you can see, it goes up nice and flat. Of course, i just threw it up if she was really going to wear it in a ponytail. She would make sure that her hair is covering every piece of the tapes, so she wanted to wear some curls, so i'm just throwing in some loose curls, really quick for her all right guys. So this is the finished look. Unfortunately, my camera um - i had turned it off when i turned it back on. I don't know it was blurry, so i did add a picture at the end so that you guys can see. This is what it looks like curled. I think if um i could do it over, i would just the the top leave out part. I wouldn't have curled it so far up, so it could um blend a little better, but it still looks great um. She loved it and you know she still has them and they will last for about 10 weeks or so you can wash them, but eventually you do have to replace, take them out and replace the tape and install them again, because the hair is reusable all right. Guys so if you have any questions or comments, please make sure to leave them down below. Please consider subscribing if you haven't done so already. Thank you so much for watching my video and i'll see you in my next one. You

How long can tape extensions be on hair, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, will tape attachment be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both my hair and tape extensions and do tape extensions need any other products than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner?
