#sisterlocks #locs #alopecia

Hey everybody. Thank you all for tuning in. I want to jump right into it. Okay, so I started my Microlock journey and only been a couple days so far. I will post pictures my first day of getting a new start and I'm also going to post this journey as we go along together. So once you take this ride with me, okay, I start researching people with micro locs, who has been hair, and even people like. I, who has in the wedges and is it possible to get the micro locks and eventually the edges come in if you just leave your hair at home and let it grow. But every time you research it you see people who already have a head full of beautiful hair, that's starting their micro locks. You see some thin locks, you know alopecia, but nothing just down to the point in blunt wrong and I could, and for the first time ever I'm going to show anyone besides my children, what my edges actually look like and I've actually got micro boxes dog like I said before so that's right, as you can see, right now, just have a band on it's night time, but like I've been day you know I do the little baby here edges. I will post pictures of styles that I wear to hide. The fact since is so new, it's goofy, but let's do this, so you can see ready from here all around to the top of my hair. I have no edges. I have the per member of my sides, but not really much in between. So, of course, I have to sneak in and take edge control and try to make it look like something there with other styles. This is the side of my head. If you can see that my lungs have been end a couple of days now, like I said my sister actually got me started with my micro locks and as you can see, she was able to go all around everything else. I don't know if I'm showing you right, but, as you can see, my hair is very uneven. Look it's really really thin than what it was a day. I'Ve got his dogs cuz, I'm scalping right now, I'm going through the ugly phases. If you can see she did a 4-point rotation, she did um. I want to say four inch and a half two. If I wanted to say it was, I will be posting videos of how I style my hair. I am committed to not wear no wigs and really going through my micro journey, I'm trying to embrace it feel free to leave anything that you think can actually help with this part of it. But I will let you guys know pictures after my first retighten it was anything else I was told not to wash it for four weeks and then I will do my retighten there as well think four to six. They say and I will keep you guys posted. I will have pictures following this of styles that I used to cover. If I know that's the question of having even wearing it, but I find ways you'll see so stay tuned. Take this right with me. It'S gon na be a rollercoaster

Lasha Taylor: Hi Miss Meesha! I also have fine hair , low density and a small head, lol. I wanted sisterlocks but was rejected at my consultation due to my perimeter being scarce I was blessed to find a lady who installed my microlocs with my tapered cut. They looked just like yours. It’s been almost three months and my hair is very full and growing everyday. Long story short enjoy your ride . It’s worth it !! And thanks for sharing as another young lady stated your pretty face can rock that style !

Lynne Summers: Sis!!!! Your bravery is inspiring! I too suffer from not having edges. Don’t let the profile pic fool you! I had traditional locs before and my hair grew like a weed!!! If I knew about micro locs back then, I would’ve done that instead. I start my Sistaloc journey in 3 weeks!!! Just know that you are not alone!

Sovereign Sol: A year later I’m just finding this video and I’m so thankful for it! I just got my micro locs installed and I’m scalpy. My hair is quite thin, especially in the crown area and my edges are very, very, nonexistent. I admire your authenticity and courage! It’s so inspiring! And you are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Can’t wait to finish watching the rest of your videos to see where you are now in your journey! Peace, love, light, life and blessings unto you!

H R: I appreciate you! I’m going through the same thing and I’m curious about getting microlocks. Thank you queen

Charlene Muchunu: Thanks for posting! There are not enough of us thin hair no edges on youtube

RitaBugg Thomas: I LOOOVE IT. FINALLY SOME INFO& LOVE FOR US WITH NOT SO PERFECT EDGES AND THINNING HAIR. THANKS FOR TRUSTING US TO SHARE YOUR JOURNEY WITH. GIRL GO ALL IN. I'M HERE 4 IT‼️‼️

Yan Mck-Sam: As soon as I saw your edges all I thought was “it’s gonna grow in”. Stay positive and be patient! I’m on this journey with you. Check out my Sisterlocks journey.

Teresa Williams: Thank you sssooo much for this video!!! I'm in the same boat and was thinking about getting locs, you have just reassured me that 1, I'm not alone and 2, I'm going to be ok. Thanks for your honesty and courage my sister. I'll be in this journey with you

Love Lovevon: This is why I started making videos. My edges were thin but not gone. Alopecia in the back. My hair grew back. Yours will too! Thank you for sharing and I subscribed! I always support other fine/thin hair sisters!

Angela Stewart: I have thin hair as well and I’m in the process of researching which locs are best for me. I’ve already done sisterhood and loved them. Unfortunately I had to cut them during Covid. I’m going to try traditional locs this time. Very excited about it. Bless you on your journey!

Forlocsake: Happy to take this ride with you. I'm excited to see your progress. I'm still researching and deciding. All the best!

Rhonda Johnson: Thank you for having the courage to show this video. I have traction alopecia edge problems too but not as bad but it's still traction alopecia regardless. They're starting to back but I'm so self conscious of them. I too am getting small starter locks next week and I'm scared because of possibly exposing my edges. You have given me confidence to go through with it. As I said, my edges are growing back in but not enough for me to show without feeling ashamed but oh well, it is what it is. Thank you for helping me. Now I know how to style them and feel good. Thank you Rhonda

Latricia Emerson: Hunny I have that same problem and my stylist and cuzin have both been trying to get me to start my loc journey as it does help and I can say I'm starting mine this weekend..hunny ur hair is going to look amazing if u just stick w it..I love ur bravery cuz a woman's hair means a lot to her..thank u for sharing!

lil1lady1983: Thank you for your braveness. I have sisterlocks and I had started my journey out exactly the same way you just posted yours....it's being 7 years now and I have seen a major process growth on my edges....it's not easy but I'm still working on them to get full....I believe you will get there.... But I did found out in my journey that some edge control makes thin edges harder to grow back.... So be careful with the products you use on your edges sis again thank you

Lavisia Thomas: Thank you for being so brave and sharing your journey

LocTalk @The LOFT: Man sis, thank you thank you thank you for being so transparent! I struggle with my edges as well and I'm always looking for info frm other loc wearers but no one really shares. I know it wasn't easy to share, but your openness is helping somebody out there! it feels good to know your not alone. FYI i know you don't want to, but you gotta come outta the headband. them edges need air, and sun. like a plant ! I work out alot so I use headbands to get my hair off my neck, I found my headbands were snatching small hairs, baseball caps too. I also religiously sleep on a satin pillow because I feel that bonnets and scarves are also rubbing on my edges. can't wait to see more of your vids!

Nayo Wilson: Finally! Just what I've been looking for. Thank you sis for your bravery to show us we are not alone.

LaToya Curry: You're beautiful and thank you for your bravery and sharing your journey. You inspired me!❤

Down The Rabbit Hole: Thank you so much for posting. I’m going through the same thing with my edges.

Laquieta Thomas: I just started my micro locs. I'm so looking forward to my locs getting longer and fuller. As I told u before I have fine low density hair as well. And bold around the sides too. But I have my hair cut real low and laid down on the sides. I'm so looking forward tfor this loc journey with u as well.

DeAnna Ross: I've been struggling with this for about 15 years. Thank you for posting

Alexis S: Young lady, thank you for sharing. I have the exact same issues you have. I am considering microlocs or sisterlocs. I have a great deal to consider for I too have thin hair. I applaud you and your bravery. I hope to get there one day. Wishing you all the best in your loc journey. Thanks again.

Carla C: Great to hear your comment about us low density folk being underrepresented. I also had very sparse edges but with micolocs they have filled in nicely. I massage them with warm oil and sleep on silk pillowcases. I try not to manipulate my hair with styles. I am rooting for you. Thank you for your honesty!.

Neola: WOW! You're so beautiful! Can't wait to see how you manage your lovely hair. I'm sure you'll still look good with whatever you decide on :D

locs of love: thanks for sharing your journey with us, i looking forward to taking the ride with you. I was wondering if the 2 point rotation would be better for your hair texture it does't give such a tightness to the loc as the 4 point does and it may give you a look of fullness...just a word of thought.

Deedee L: Would be nice to have an update on your loc journey

Nikkia Carter: Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your journey ❤️❤️

Pee- Ology: I’m watching the videos because I have a similar issue but ur inner energy has my attention equally! U have a special Ora & God has a special hand on you ❤

Yjuania Still: I have low density and my loctician recommended microlocks. I wanted sisterlocks. I appreciate the honest from my loctician. She'll install a pattern that's best for my hair. My install date is 6/24/21.

Reta Cotton: I’m very proud of you nothing to be ashamed of.

Marian P Seege: Thank you so much for posting, I will definitely be following!

Shekinah’s Life: Got to be gel (black tube). Put on edges or thin spots twice daily . Don’t wash off. Keep on every two days then wash your hair with Pantene rose hips shampoo put a couple drops of tea tree oil in your shampoo . Rinse with rice water then rinse out with spring water Once you can pull the hair , which should be in a few weeks, starting pulling on Your strands with your fingers. Hold for about 30 seconds then release. Do that with out the gel on edges . You edges will be stiff and I brushed tamper with and simply sits still and grows!!!! Happy healing to all my fine hair alopecia, and thin edges sisters. Love
