Cosmetology School Day 10 & 11 (Working On Haircuts And My Ethnic Mannequin) Ep.11

Good morning um headed to school. This is week two friday, so i made it to my second the end of my second week and i'm heading in. I did mail a puff now that i figured out how to do it. Um, it's not a super high puff, but it's it's nice and juicy, but other than that um. I don't know what we're doing today. I guess we're still. I mean you know we're still working on the same chapter, but i will update you guys once i get there or once i know what we're doing today, good, how about you all right! So it's lunch time and i'm headed to the car and i actually feel better. Today we actually spent two hours um on learning. You know the teacher was teaching for the projector today and then, after that we could either work in our workbooks or we could work on our mannequins. So i definitely feel much better today, like i actually like learned something you know stuff like that. It'S a beautiful day out here and just want to go to the car eat and then, when i get back in there um, i was working a little bit on my workbook and then um. I'M gon na do like a little simple braided headband on my curly hair mannequin and then after that, just gon na make sure i got all my stuff submitted that i need to get submitted good morning. This is week three monday, i'm headed to school. It'S a rainy day, it's real, it's kind of dark and cloudy out here. Pouring down so headed to school, see what we're going to be doing today and i will update you guys later so all right. So i'm on lunch break and we have been practicing hair. Cutting in the class, i forgot my straight hair mannequin. I only had my curly hair mannequin and i'm not about to cut my cut my curly hair mannequin. That'S what we're not about to do so! I'M just gon na have to i had to use one of the class mannequins just to like practice, hand, placement and stuff like that, where i would cut, but tomorrow i'll make sure i don't forget my straight hair mannequin, but i have been bringing my my curly Hair at mannequin, because i thought that we were going to practice how to cut um curly hair as well, but we haven't done that yet so i'm going to bring my stray hair mannequin tomorrow so that i can do some little small cuts on that because i Don'T want to like cut off big sections and like i want to start off with little sections first and then get confident to cut bigger sections, because, like once, you cut it, the mannequins hair is not going to grow back, so i'm gon na do that. I don't know if i'm gon na bring my short hair mannequin or the long haired one, but i'll bring one of the ones with the straight hair so that i can get the hang of it. Then i'm pretty sure once i get the hang of it on the straight hair, i'll automatically know how to do it on the curly hair as well, but other than that we're on lunch uh for the eats. It'S still raining out here and we just want to go home and lay down but um. I will update you guys in a bit all right, so i'm getting ready to head home and um. We pretty much worked on hair cutting all day and i left my mannequin so um. I pretty much didn't do anything today, which i will tomorrow actually be doing some cutting tomorrow, but there was a company called pretty in a minute that came and they advertised some of their products, um flat, irons, blow dryer heated, brush, um, curling wand, and you know They they tell you that this stuff is worth 700 something dollars, but today we're going to give it to you for 280. You know what i'm saying so all the all the cosmetic students was like lining up the body, but i'm looking like now, especially after buying that cosmetology kit for 1200, i'm not gon na buy nothing else plus. I already got um better quality tools at home. Like you know what i'm saying like, i already have like a bayless uh flat iron and stuff, like that, i already have curling wands. I already have other blow dryers at home, so i'm not gon na spin like no we're not doing it no and on books. Almost 500 out of pocket, no man, so i don't know it's easy for me to say. No, because i'm like a budget, i'm like a budget friendly person, but some people, they see something, that's you know sparkly and shiny and they get distracted and they want. It me i'm like no, i i got these. I i stick with my little supple tools and my key and whatever tools i got at home already we're gon na call it a day, but i mean to each his own or whatever, like not shoot down their products, but i'm not gon na buy from any And every company that come in there, advertising and stuff like no we're, not no but other than that um. I feel sleepy. It'S still raining out here, i'm headed home, and so that was that was today's day. I had looked at a few youtube videos after lunch, because i was kind of interested in doing like um. Those micro link loops are really popular and the taping extensions are really popular. So that would be something good to know how to do and everything. I actually have two companies that want to send me some, and you know i would do them on myself. It'S just like something like that. I mean it could be done on yourself, but it's just easier to like do it on somebody else, especially when it's your first time doing something like that. But if i do go through with it, you know, of course, i'll record it and show it to you guys and stuff like that, but other than that um that um.
