Hey everyone. Thank you so much for stopping on this video. My name is bubs b and we're gon na get right into this tutorial. I have a sponsor today. Thank you to y wigs for sponsoring this video and giving me this gorgeous hair all right. They sent over three bundles of their tape and hair extensions. This is an 18 inches, it's a natural color and it's the kinky straight texture. I'Ve done clip-ins. I'Ve done glue, installs, okay, glue, less installs, but not tape-ins. This is different for me, so i was a little bit nervous to see how i was gon na do it, but you know i watched a video or two to see exactly how to place this. I got all the information from the website that helped a ton. So i'm just gon na go through my steps. Applying these by myself. As you can see, my hair is in the afro. I did blow my hair out and i decided to go with a deep part for this. Look so super deep part, all right um. I want a lot of body and fullness in the front, so what's very important and to ensure that everything is hidden and you can't see the tape ends. You want to part out some leave out, so i'm going to part around my edges in around the part. So once i have the right amount of leave, i'm just gon na braid, the section away now like i said this is diy all right. Do it yourself, so my parts are not gon na be crispy. They'Re not gon na be clean because i'm finger parting and i'm barely using a pintail comb, i'm barely using it. So i'm going to start off in the back and, as you can see, i have another section i'm going to keep out as well as my leave out, so this hair can blend into my natural hair. So, what's most important with installing tape in is that you want to make sure that you have very small sections. You don't want your sections to be too thick um. I did not know that when i first started to do them, i have thicker. Hair have kosher strands, so i was using too much hair. You want to use a small, thinner, section. Okay, i started off with another section and i'm going to break that section into smaller pieces now to help me measure out the exact section i need i'm actually just going to use the tape ends, i'm going to put the tape in to the hair and see How big? I should have my section all right now. The tape ins are very easy to adhere to your own hair. All you got to do is take the sticker off. It has a tacky adhesive that sticks straight to your hair strands and you want to place it underneath the section. Then you want to get another tape and extension and apply it over top of it. So you want to make a sandwich all right with your natural hair in the middle, and you want to squeeze and press and press all the sections together to make sure it's adhering. Well, we don't want this to move or budge or tug, so just press firmly and that's pretty much what you do from here on out, i'm just gauging how big i want the section to be i'm going to take the sticker off and then i'm going to Place that tape in underneath the section press it tightly and firmly, then i'm going to get another section, take the sticker off and press it firmly against the other tape and extension, and you have your section - your section is done. Okay, what's also important. Is that you don't want to adhere the tape in too close to your scalp? You want to leave a little bit of room a little bit of wiggle room. Just in case you want to pin those tape. Ins up, you want to put the hair down up, move it around. So it's not tugging or pulling your strands at all. Another big key key component to make everything. Look so seamless make everything look so natural! You want to go with the curvature of your own hair. You want to make curved parts make curved parts. If i was doing this on another person, my parts would definitely be a lot neater, but i would be making curved parts i'm doing my best to do that on my own self, and so once i am done with that. First row, i'm going to part off another thinner section to cover up the tape ends. Okay, you really want to ensure that these tapings aren't showing so make sure you are blending some of your own hair over top of the section to cover those tape ends. So you just want to repeat those same steps: i'm going to show you this technique throughout the whole video. What i really did like about these extensions first off the hair is so natural, so soft and it didn't get tangled at all, also the adhesive. It is a very durable adhesive, but it didn't tug or pull my hair out at all when it comes to removal. That is very important, so stay tuned and let me know down below if you want to see a video on how to remove these tape ins, but they did come out so easy, no harm done. I did not lose any strands so in the package. Okay, you're gon na receive 40 pieces of 1.5 inch, wefts all right with a grand total of 100 grams of hair. That'S a lot! That'S a lot! Okay, like i said, one pack is suitable for adding a small amount of length and volume. If you have fine hair, but two packs is definitely recommended for medium to thick coarser strands, like i said, i used about two and a half, and this was a lot. This was a lot of hair all right, but if you want that voluminous full look get three packs. If you take really good care of these extensions, they can last you a very long time do do. Hmm. Do i mean volume for days this? This was a lot of hair. This was a lot of hair, but i loved it. Look how well it is blending into my hair and my hair is very short. Okay, my hair is not that long, but it's blending so well. The natural color blends perfectly with my brownish texture, with my brown textured kinky hair. All right, like i said the blend, is seamless, so i'm going to use some of this foaming, wrap lotion and i've been loving using this on extensions because it works really well and it's tacky, so i've been loving it it's been giving me the curl definition. I need to ensure that i'm keeping the blend i'm going to detangle my hair and the extension here together, like i said, apply a couple of pumps smooth it in and braid my hair with the extensions okay. So it's the next day the hair is already dry. My hair is fully dry because my hair was already blown out, which is perfect. I'M going to unravel each braid, fluff separate you fluff with my hands. I don't need a pick, because this hair has so much volume. I'M just going to use my fingers separate and you can see the definition my hair, like i said the hair was so soft. The extension hair was so soft and fluffy, and i just loved quality of this hair do and the look is complete guys, like i said i didn't do much. I didn't lay my edges or anything. My edges was fine to me, okay, but you can see. Look at the blend, the blend is seamless. It looks just like my own natural hair. All right, i can put the hair up. If i wanted to, because i left some leave out around the perimeter, you can do whatever you want to do with this hair. All right, you can add some heat, you can add some rods and do a rod set all right. You can even go in the water with these tapings. Yes, all right um. Let me know down below if you want to see that tape in a removal, because it was a process, it was a process of removing it, but i did not get any breakage at all, so let me know down below if you want to watch that video. Thank you so much wild wicks for sponsoring this video i enjoyed using these tape ins such such high quality. If you want to see more from me, please give this video a thumbs up, make sure you are subscribed to the channel and i'll see you all in the next one. You
