Microlinks Installation

Hey guys crystal gear from a new care, kid USA, you actually can't see anything. So I'll put you guys right here. What I'm doing is some micro link install on my client here, so I'm gon na bring you guys a little closer just so you can see. What'S happening so this is the length of her hair here and then this is the micro link link that we did so we are about 95 %, complete with the installation of the links go back for me, so that is what they look like when they're installed And you guys get to go along and see the remainder of the process in regards to finishing up the installation and then cutting and styling her, so I'm going to turn the camera this way I'm actually recording as well. So I'm not gon na put you guys on the tripod, because I'm recording on my other camera, but I want you guys to be able to kind of be a part of the process that you can see what we're doing so. These are called. These are called micro loops, okay, so I don't actually have to use the tool to pull it through. This makes it so much easier, so you can see what that looks like okay, um and then we use this tool to actually do the install the peg appliers. What it's made from micro link - I mean you just basically finished the install, so we used close to 200 grams of hair to do this installation on her, mainly because you want to make sure that it's fully enough that it looks natural and then, at the same Time you have to be able to give that illusion in certain areas. So that's what we're finishing up now. So I only have this a little bit here. So my client is handing me the hair and then she got a fresh color and all of that today, at the same time. So this is not the brainless install. This is, I tip micro links, but we're using micro loop hair instead of us having to actually put the hair into the link. This is a lot easier. It looks a lot more natural and the actual bead that they use on. This is much smaller than the eye tips, so I like this particular method, a lot better because you're not using multiple tools, you're, not trying to adjust thickness and fullness, and if you don't have that long, I tip sticking out. So these are a lot easier to tighten when needed, because everything's already attached everything is already attached for this, so you guys see how long it is which we're not going to keep it dip, possibly I'll try to convince, because I actually think it is really pretty It doesn't need to be trimmed, though it's it's really long, so it will need to be trimmed, but I think it's really creamy now this particular certainly okay. So we started the service at 10:00, a little bit after 10:00. This morning, mind you, we did do somewhat relax her. We also did a full color to cover her Silver Streak, and then we had to you know blow her out and then start the actual service. So we started a little after 10:00. So this is not a service to get on a day when you have to go to work, because everybody's service time is going to be different and it's going to take more time. So I really like this way because the eye tips, the eye tips you have to put the link on first then push the eye tip in. So if you can get micro, loop, hair and you're in a great place. If not, then you know you have to use what you have, but I really love the micro loop. It cuts down on the amount of tools you need, and this hair comes in all colors and then the brush that we pressed for this install, which is this brush here, that's the brush where you see it has a loops in it and it just basically just Glides right over the links, am i right, it doesn't pull your hair, it just glides over the links where the traditional brush will end up dragging the links. This does not drive the links at all. So that's a big part about it, for this service is everything because you have to know how to fill in the ridges fill in the gaps, that's very important that the gaps are filled in. So I do I kind of work from the bottom and I work in like a circle. Thank you very. I work in a circle on purpose because I want to make it proportional based on where her hair is because remember sometimes you ask Oh make me choke. Oh, so you want to make that's it, though the holes just throw your whole body away. Please you know, that's pretty. No. You stick on your face. Say: hey come on this side over here or you say hello. I only did a Sunday today due to some scheduling confliction, but that's all trust me. You couldn't get me work on a Sunday again mm-hmm not in this way. This is definitely a service that I do on a Sunday because it's time-consuming number one and you want to be able to take your time. I don't like to rush on services like this, and today it's like stress-free right, which is here, there's nobody in the salon. Like this is definitely a service that I would do on a Sunday all right, we got two more and then we are done installing the hair and then we'll go ahead and do the style look at that. So with this one, the only hair that we have left out is the hair in the crown where she is going to have her hair over the links and in right around the perimeter. Everything else in the middle has a micro link on it. Can you do it on natural hair, possibly, but you would need to get a texture that matches your texture. Look at that. It'S not tight. Okay, so it gives you the ability to put it up. Put it down. She works out that kind of thing I like the long hair. I just don't, want it to yeah, I'm here, Dee thing all right, so her hair is up here at the top. Really, oh, so with the incident, please don't mind them. Okay with the installation of this hair, you want to make sure that you do leave enough hair for coverage to them. This way for me, so you have coverage in the areas where you don't see the links and then on the crown or right at the top same thing, I do have four more links left. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to put those four right here in the front so that will fill in a little bit more space. It'S not going to fill it in a whole bunch, but I just want more right here. So that's a good thing about having additional links left. You want to kind of fill in wherever you need to fill in all right. These are easier than the other one. Can you do a close up of installing? Can you think my camera for me on how long this are you guys can see the last two? No bad one yeah, so ash is not well. You can turn it around. Hey! Okay, so you guys would be able to see the last two loops and you want to make sure that you don't do it too tight, where you have place for the hair to flip you feeling tightness anywhere. So that's the goal, and then this is the last one. So it's traditional micro links. You have to have the tool to put the micro link in put that you have to have the tool to pull the micro link in and then you have to pull, go and tighten the link wear with micro loops. You don't have to do that all right. So what we're going to do is really yep stay right there with it. So what we're gon na do is we're going to put some foam on her hair, so I'm going to eat, silk rat foam so lays it hair down and then she'll go under the dryer when we doing it on the top this, because we really want it To lay and mold in really really well, this is how burning it's the birthday. Do you guys wish our happy birthday so these loops up wrap foam? Yes, of course, I have a shortcut, but it can be used on longer hair as well, and the good thing about this install is guess what you can push it behind the ear which I'll show you on this side of the fungicide. You can push it behind the ear and you won't even know that it's behind here, like you, don't know that there's hair in there, unless you're just me a nose and then using the right form to mold it down. This is just going to really just lay her hair with the actual links everybody's happy right there. Thank you. I mean she's got to go under the dryer. This hair is 100 % human, so we can curl it. You basically come back for tightenings every two to three weeks, so you can usually get about eight to twelve weeks out of it. If it's tightened and taken care of everyone that is asking if it's made for natural hair, they have natural hair textures. Yes, they do have natural hair textures. Where would you recommend the purchase of the micro link hair? I have my own distributor for the links, no stress whatsoever on the hair. Is it hard to take out um? I mean it's not something that I would say you take out on your own, but you use this tool. It has a little groove in it that you fit the micro link in while it's on the hair and it basically prise it. It opens it and your slides off. Is it easy to remove? Yes, it is easy to remove every stylist charges a different price or removal, though yes, the rap lays the rap late silk wrap a bomb. I like the way mmm. This is definitely a must have brush at home. If you guys notice, it has loops in it. So this allows the micro links to goes through the loops instead of pulling it, and that is the number one thing that must be at home. For me doing the service, the install only is 475 and then the hair ranges, depending on how long that kind of thing, but the install itself is 475. I am in Orlando Florida. How long does it take so we started a little bit after ten, but we also did a relaxer and a color and then the full installation itself. So I mean after ten till now, including you know pretty services. Color alone is a thirty minute processing time, so that should tell you. No-Nothing includes removal when you come for the removal you when you book your appointment for the removal is when you pay for it. The service is the service. So with any type of extensions, you don't want to add a lot of like hair and hair. You know what I had a lot of oils and stuff so be very sparing with the amount of oil that you use on the hair. I got a whole conversation. Can you swim with my feelings? Yes, it is human hair. It is human hair, my love, but you're still gon na have to wash it and keep it clean. Sorry guys, I can't actually read your questions finally figured out how to divide. How does it feel when I pull it up? Is it hurt? So if it's done right, it shouldn't be stress free on here, if it's done right and in her hair is actually in between the link itself. That'S why I like the micro loop, because the hair is actually encased inside of the link instead of sitting on top of the link I'll bring you guys a little closer. So you can see these are the actual links and then I'm curling it oh yeah and that's easy. It'S kind of like Greece mm-hmm without the actual braid. That'S the part about it. It for, like you, can pull pieces from wherever or if you know you wanted to wear it like half up half now we kind of live our hair in the middle up, yep versatility, which even helps to make it look as natural as possible yep because the Date in case is your hair too, so your hair is actually like in between the actual extension, where, with traditional items, you're here sitting on top of the extension and you're not trying to blend at an end. Okay, that's the worst part. Okay, if I had a preference, I prefer this over the braveness, so we're almost done curling and I'm using my flat iron to curl. Don'T forget! I just filmed a video on how to do that, and we talked about the fundamentals of you know the type of tool you're using a lot goes into that. So don't just think you can do that with any iron.
