Today we have a tutorial on how to apply microlink hair extensions on a model with natural hair. It's amazing how much volume she gained!
Microlinks are known to be the most natural hair extensions compared to sew-ins and crochet extensions. They are small silicone or metal beads that are used to attach tiny, individual hair extensions to small sections of your natural hair. Since the hair does not need to be braided, there is less tension on the scalp. However, the process can take between 4 and 6 hours. It can be done on all hair types and can last up to 5 months.
To take proper care of your microlinks, it's advised to visit your hairdresser regularly, shampoo your hair once a week, avoid applying oil or conditioner on your hair and sleep with a cap for protection. This will prevent your extensions from slipping out.
