4c afro kinky textured natural hair tutorial with no leave out using crochet hair. Crochet braids with cheap afro crochet hair. It is also possible to get the look with bulk, twist, marley hair, or a sew in.

This works great if you are relaxed and want to make your hair look natural or if you just did the big chop and want the long natural hairstyle sooner. This how to tutorial is great for anyone!

Hey guys, it's shown, and today I'll just be showing you how I put in some big, fuller, see natural looking hair into this relaxed head of mine, so yeah just keep watching so the braid pattern that I'm using for this is pretty simple in the front. I'M just braiding a bunch of braids going straight back, so I started from the center and I just continue to braid braids, going straight back that were about this size, not too big, but not too small as well, and you want as you're braiding these braids. You also want to take into account where you want your parts to be. With this braiding pattern. You can choose to have multiple parts where you will be able to part your crochet here. Those parts will lay in between these braids that you are braiding now. So you want to make sure that these braids will allow you to part your hair, where you want it to be parted. So once you finish up braiding these braids in the front and just going straight back you're going to connect these braids by braiding down along both sides, starting from the middle and then once I braided down like this right side. I just bobby pinned it in place and then braid it down the left side going down. Then originally I thought I was going to do a beehive, but a beehive is very hard to braid on yourself to the tardigrade upside down, but this braiding pattern is much easier and it worked out really well as well. So all I did is like a little zigzag going back and forth starting a new braid from the top and then once I got to the bottom. I started to connect those end braids from earlier to this braid that I am doing here in the back. So, on this side I connected the Braves from the right to this braid and then once I got over to the left, I connected the one big braid from the entire left side, so that in the end I was left with only one braid then, with this One braid I just tucked it in and crocheted it through the cornrows so that it could be securely and flatly in place and yeah. That is the braiding pattern. It'S pretty simple for this install I'm using some crinkly afro kinky, hair from Sam's Beauty and I'll leave. The link down below now for the crocheting part so that you're gon na do is you're gon na just grab the crochet needle and put it through your hair, put it through your braids like so, and then this comes already with a nice little loop in it. That you can use to attach into the latch like so and pull it. I'M going back through the loop, and so I have a B hair. I'M going put it all in the latch and then I'm just gon na pull the hair up through using the crochet needle and there's a little bit of hard since this hair, so full and thick and the little loop is pretty small. So you're, just gon na have to work with it to get all the hair through and that is so secure, don't have to worry about it, slipping and then so you're just gon na continue to fill in the rest of your hair, using the same exact method. The only time you're gon na do something different is out where you want your parts to be so now. Let me show you the special way of crocheting that I do to make my parts look really natural, so I'm going to like stay on each of these. They have like a little rubber band, so I'm just gon na take it off with like that cut that know what I'm going to do is put the crochet needle from under latchet and then now, instead of putting all of it in the loop I'm just going To put half of it there we go this way of doing it, just make sure that the knot is hidden, and then I just continue with this method, all along the parts and, as you can tell it, looks really really natural like this is 4c hair growing Out of my scalp, and I'm only gon na, do this method in two areas, on the side and in the middle, where I want my parts to be everywhere else, I'm just gon na crochet, normally and now. I'M sure a lot of you guys are wondering our leaf like thinking about. Why am I doing this hair like? Why am I going so typically, if you're putting in fake hair, it's usually longer and usually straighter than your hair and I'm doing the opposite, I'm putting in here that is shorter and bigger and curly area and kinkier than my hair, and that is because, basically I've Just been sort of angered by the presence of this like white standard of beauty and just having straight hair. So it's been pushing me to want to go natural and show that you know black is beautiful too, but I'm still not completely sure, because I do like the ease of straight here so feel free to leave down your input. If you are a teen relaxed a team natural and why oh yeah so back to this tutorial, I'm pretty much done with the installation. This hair was a little bit. We'Re actually a lot a lot too big for me. So I did a lot of trimming and shaping to get it down to the size of where I liked it. I feel like this style would be really good if you like. Just did the big chalk or something and your hair is really short international, but you still want to have like the big natural hair look, so it works well, if you're relaxed like me or if you just have short natural hair like I can have the look Of natural hair, without actually taking the big step to go natural yet for synthetic hair, I'm actually really impressed by how natural it looks. I'Ve had it in for a while, and I've definitely fooled a lot of people if you just think it's natural and that I'm natural. So I hope this was helpful if it was feel free to subscribe, and you can also follow me on Instagram at Shell. Okie me yeah. I think you guys so much see you in the next video since I'm black. My hair just doesn't grow, not true at all.

Jewel Boyd: I am team "whatever works for you". I love the diversity and versatility of black hair. As long as it it groomed well, it all beautiful to me.

Te Bu: you did this honey! I love a good weave transformation. And your relaxed hair is beautiful.

mamaedina1: I attempted this very look this past weekend. Was too tired to do proper braids and the crochet pin defeated me but am doing it again. Thank you

Faith James: YOU ARE THE CROCHET QUEEN‍♀️

Csb1289: Your relaxed hair is goals but this natural look is SO PRETTY on you! I was relaxed until I turned 26 and my hair broke off (the way everybody dramatically assumes it does when you're relaxed lol) because i had an allergic reaction to a hair dye and couldn't tell. I was kinda forced to go natural but somehow I embraced that beauty and started to hate that white standard of beauty i clung so tightly to for years. Just you being aware of it makes you more powerful for doing WHATEVER you want to your hair, natural or not. Good luck to you either way!

veralucia santos: Parabéns! Ficou linda! Muito obrigada pela sua atenção ,abraços!

Winsome Place: Your honesty is so refreshing! Really enjoyed this video I was moved to comment for the FIRST time EVER. The simplicity of your video is awesome .I've done the relaxing for years and now I have alopecia, looking back I see how my ignorance to what long term effects of chemically altering your hair can have on your health. I encourage you to keep doing the research! Looking forward to your next video Winsome

Tali: OH My Goodness this was beautiful! I wish my real hair was like this, I would wear it everyday! Excellent job and thank you so much for sharing this!!

Samma Sun: I actually gasped out loud when you showed the hair at the end because it's so pretty. It looks natural too. Thanks for sharing!

Lindasha Gamble: I love this hairstyle it turned out beautiful! how long did it last for you? I want this to be a go to hairstyle for me

Gisele Silva: show de bola! ganhou mais uma seguidora! pena que aqui no Brasil não tem tanta variedade assim de produtos. Muito legal! ameii

Martha Houston: Lovely! It looks so similar to my natural hair when it grows.

Ms7zizi: This is just what I've been looking for! Thank you for doing this tutorial! How long did you keep it in for? Also, is it easy to wash?

Inspire Strength: Great idea Seun! It will help you to decide if you really want to go natural in the future or not. I hope that more people see that there are so many solutions to just doing a big chop you can even transitions like this. xoxo

DeLora: I love the fact that you can choose what you want to do with your hair. It is your choice and you don't have to be Team natural to be beautiful. Neither do you have to be Team Relaxed to be beautiful. You can't have the word Beautiful without BE YOU!

Joy Reynolds: I am team natural!!! I think our NATURAL texture is beautiful. My hair is like yours. I was relaxed for a very long time but wanted to go natural for years before I actually did it. It was a challenging transition because you have to learn your hair, but o am so glad I did it. I transitioned instead of big chop because my hair was long like yours is now.

Connie 1751: I'm natural and I think you did an amazing job, looks so real. Your real hair though is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, as are you. Great video.

Annie Hall: You did a beautiful job!

Annette Bishop: People kill me judging someone for putting chemicals in "THEIR" hair, but quick to put processed foods, alcohol, and cigarettes in their bodies!

SiennaMillerBroadcast: You are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS from the inside and the OUTside as well! This was a fabulous Tutorial and I LOVE the purpose behind your doing this video! Keep On QUEEN! Ase'! Peace and Blessings unto YOU!

Deltadivaix: I love the texture of this hair!!

Shay Kisalu: Looks wonderful!

JitalyJ - Feeling It 100%: Wow. Looks so natural and the shape is banging!

Sharshar 0206: Great video, the style looks lovely! How did you go about shaping it and making it look a lot smaller?

#living_ Florida: Just stumbled on your channel and I love it, thank you

Michele D: Looks beautiful! Coincidentally, my natural hair looks like the synthetic hair but I'd like to take a break from it. I like this look. May try it.

Mary J Flanagan: Trying something like this with human 12" hair. I actually have always had short hair and work in high heat. I'm trying to keep it in for as long as possible. I've been team natural since right before my 50th bday. I am very happy with my thick hair finally starting to grow and maintain length!

LÁPIS DE LUXO: muito lindo muito bonito muito bem feito

Monique Adam: You and your hair are beautiful! This is a wonderful tutorial.

Kaila Powell: Your hair looks very pretty , relaxed and crocheted . Def gonna look for this branding hair and get it

Sheila Katz: Love the style I’m thinking of doing this.

Nancy Shamatanga: Wow i like your demonstration thank you for sharing

tocrazyjay: That came out amazing!

moe moe: That is a blessing when you can do your own hair amazing ❤

Shan Marcell: Team Natural *but to each its own* u did a great job! looks wonderful

Ellahu Imoisili: I do the exact same thing as u. I have relaxed hair, but wear natural short crochet hair. Love the easy maintenance of relaxed hair. If i want to have natural hair, I do crochet; and if I want relaxed hair, I rock my hair. No need to actually go natural myself.

Nicole Washington: Yessss her smile is contagious!!! She has one of those smiles that you look forward to seeing , especially ,on a bad day. I love it!

Chenai Chigiya: Oh my god this hair looks amazing on you you look great im for sure gonna try this

April Madison: Team natural. Wore my hair relaxed since age 11. Wearing short relaxed pixie cuts for last ten years. Decided to stop “oppressing” my hair as one of my law school classmates once accused me. LOL spending $400 a month on the shop once a week to keep cut and relaxer tight. Hair starts thinning. Had enough. Found a way to do my own hair. Loving it. Hair is healthy.

Ms Chantaé: wow! looks good and realistic!

Ocean Lover: Wow! Great job!

Everything Pretty: Very helpful video. Thank you.

Rechette Graney: Nice video . I have this hair a lot of it I wasn't sure how it would look. I have natural hair but I wear it in extensions mostly. Yes the industry standard is straight hair but we are individuals. I think if you love the convenience of your straight hair, keep it. There were many sacrifices made by those who came before so that we may have freedom of choice. So if you choose to keep your straight hair don't feel guilt over it, do what makes you feel happy.

Miracle Hall: I’m team natural I used to be relaxed most of my life but I started transitioning in January 2017 and I big chopped August 2017. I don’t regret it one bit.

Latisha Mitchell: I am team , No matter what we do someone will ALWAYS oppose to it......so do what makes you happy PERIOD. I am natural now, but I don't waste my time caring what people think about my head. Trying to please everyone is a trap that is hard to get out of. I don't get caught up in it

estelle xIx: 4:30 wow, thanks for that tip. It seems so obvious but I never would've thought about doing that

LaChelle Flood: I am natural, but I am also "Team Do You Boo" it's our prerogative. Autonomy is something I love about this millennium.

JaKyra Allen: Thanks Seun. I didn’t know there was this texture of crochet hair. I definitely wanted to pull of a natural look but couldn’t find it until now.

Nicky Benjamin: #TeamRelax and #TeamNatural both beautiful as long as we are caring for our hair . For me I'm relax not because I dislike my natural hair because I don't have time everyday to style my hair and it was good decision to try something new

Kadija McClure: This is literally SOOOOO gorgeous !!!!

I am Lewa: You are soo talented!!!!! I'm not sure which one mesmerizes me more, your braid pattern or the crochet style itself

tperrien: I love my natural hair! I do relate to your hesitancy with going natural. Unfortunately, in 2017 Black women still struggle with total sell acceptance. But no worries. You'll make the decision that's best for you. I will say that once I transitioned away from relaxers, I've never regretted that decision. Plus, if I want to rock straight hair I go get it blow-dried. Or I no women who straighten their hair regularly, they just don't use chemicals to alter their texture. Thanks for the helpful tutorial. Will have to try.

Oby Eche: Team Natural! You're lovely and your videos are very well done

Mel R: I been Natural for 7 years. When I heard a doctor say to not use relaxers, I knew it was time to stop. My hair was beautiful with relaxers, and is even more healthy, thick, and beautiful without. The longer it grows the more your texture change as well. If you remember your hair as a young child, or see pics of it, that's what it will look like when it grow out.

S Cox: Beautiful!

Dana E: I love this style it does looks natural

Sephora KC: Glad I came across this video lol. I’m definitely going to try this out..thanks for sharing

KiAnna Speas: Team Natural because I feel so much more because! I always felt like I was trying to please other people since I’m adopted into a caucasian family.

TMTTucker: Wow, you cut a lot of hair off, but it does look really natural on you. Good look! I'm team natural. I found that, while the hair care routine differs significantly, it's not "harder" per se. The "hard" part is getting to know your natural hair aka change. I mean, imagine if you started off being natural and being able to do all the voluminous, texture-driven natural styles all your life, completely used to fluffy and frizzy and whatnot. Then, you relax your hair and lose all the curls and all the volume. You would have to adjust to having straight hair that lays flat, learn how to tease and use hair spray to add volume, or use curling irons and products to add and hold curls. That would be "hard" because it would be a significant change. Right? I definitely advise you to do temporary trials to see if you like natural hair, but know that your own hair may be completely different from the extensions, and the transition will include learning what works for your hair, which can take a while of trialing various products and techniques until you find the right fit. But, if you can crochet it in and shape it up like you just did, you should have no problem going natural.

hyacinthdibley: @Seun, you are natural. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Unless that long hair in the beginning is a lace glued to your scalp, i'd say you are natural. And your natural hair is beautiful. Relaxed hair is still natural (relaxed) hair. Nothing wrong with it. :)

Shawn Plus One: I'm team whatever makes you happy. I'm a natural hair girl because perms no longer interest me and damaged my scalp. I love my long thick combo b/c hair and it's nice seeing all the alternative styles you all share on YouTube. Thanks for sharing you look amazing.

Shalom4714: You are genius I was like the whole time how amazing you did this... wish I can do that

DaMetra Fields: Thanks so much young lady you did a great job in your pictorial... I am team girl power whichever and however you want to wear your hair rock it and rock it boldly thanks again ⚓ ✝♏

Malika: Thanks for the video I found it very informative

Posh Ivy: Love it!!!!

Ayanna Jenkins: you can transition #teamnatural i big chopped like 3x and im finally growing my hair think and long - i dust and trim and hair a lot to keep even density and thickness of my hair, i do what i feel keeps my hair healthy - hair masques, cremes, leave ins, oil treatment, etc

Samantha Pruitt: Team naturalAnd I love this

Hil S: LOVE it!!! I'm going to have to try this, although I'm going to pay someone to do it for me since I don't have the ability or gift to do my own hair beyond just washing and blow drying and styling it in the most boring way possible.

MyNameIs V: I'm #teamnatural and #teamdowhatyouwantwithyourownhair #teamnojudgment! Great job it turned out beautiful!

Charlie-Flower-Child: Gorgeous girl! Beautiful hairdo! Well done!

Cedez B.: That's actually a pretty smart & simple braiding pattern. Especially if your braiding your own hair. smart.

Vivian Surname: I believe I got cross-eyed at one point watching you braid in fast motion. Great results girl, my next hairstyle.

H G: Love, love, love. Completely understand. I am natural and my perm hair was more manageable but natural is just more beautiful and vibrant. Do you!

Ree MJ: I always get kinky crochets My own hair actually grows with a very loose almost straight curly pattern. Been natural all of my life but I like the look of curly fros so I crochet them in. Not as uncommon as you think. My niece always gets those supper short installs but she has REALLLYYY long thick hair curl pattern like mine loose wave. Her hair is waist length and she cuts it occasionally but never as short as those 27 pieces she gets and she wouldn't want to cut her hair that short she does it with weave. Not every weave is for long straight hair uhn uhn

Marilyn B. Griffiths: Wow! I love it

ashley tanner: Thanks for this video. Your hair is gorgeous i love it. I am going to steal your braid pattern.

Malika Dawn: lol idk why but everytime she would smile, I would smile.... your smile is very contagious

Shah Al: Hi! this is the first time I am commenting on a YouTube video. I just wanted to encourage you to make the decision on a conviction instead of trying to fight a cause because it is your hair and it is your life. I have big chopped twice and I am back to relaxed hair because I want to spend time with my husband and son instead of dealing with my hair in its natural state. I am currently stretching my relaxer, it has been like 9 months because I am pregnant and I decided to play it safe. Whatever your decision I hope that you will not regret it! I know that I love me and I love Jesus and Jesus loves me no matter what my hair looks like. So my hair does not define me.

Latrice Honeycutt: Great video.  I love your reasoning.  Be blessed!

Y Heard: How long did this style last for you? Is it difficult to maintain? does it get tangled easily? Thank you for the info.

Nadège: The length of her hair snatched my soul

K-power: I'm team natural, but I don't have a problem with straight hair, Lol as you can see from my profile picture, I wear straight hair too. However, I don't like relaxed hair because of how much chemicals are put on the hair on a consistent basis. I also like how it's easier to grow long hair with natural hair then relaxed. At the end of the day, everyone should do what makes them happy.

Connie Settles: I love the skin I am in...I love the hair that grows from my scalp. I love the diversity of women teaching on youtube how to manage your choice...thanks for sharing and I love the way your hair came out! You rock!

Tri-shura Solano: love it !

Ada Radel: I’m curious; how long were you able to keep this natural style? What did maintenance look like?

Stacee J.: I have been feeling and thinking the SAME way about the overly objectified or Norm STANDARDS of beauty...Yea other races where weave and wigs as well but it's not Our TEXTURE it's theirs... That's the difference !!!

Lisear: Good job. I agree with you, black hair is beautiful. We can change it up however we like it and not be oppressed into going bone straight all the time.

Tie: How do you moisturize your own hair while it's in this style? My hair gets very dry so when I try to take it out it's easy to break. Also, how do you take it out? With mines it's hard to unloop it since it's matted and kind of tangled

Dee Bryant: Beautiful Job Pretty young Lady U Did That

La La Lovely: Love it.

barcelonapeverini: Thank you for sharing your time . Kisses from Brazil

goldmouth100: I am #TEAMRELAXED and #TEAMNATURAL.... both are beautiful ♡♡♡♡

J Matthews: Love this hair on u its so beautiful

Red Velvet: Your natural hair is beautiful

Hermaeus Mora: I have armpit length relaxed hair and my go to protective styles are cornrows, about same size as she made in this vid. When I take them out and comb out my hair looks exactly like what's in the thumbnail. I thought that's what she was going to do.

Krystalis4ever: I'm so upset at myself... I should be doing this ... thank you it was very helpful

N Fischer: Stay relaxed it's much easier to maintain healthy hair. I've grown my hair long with both and it's easier to retain length with relaxed hair. There is less breakage, less manipulation, less styling and you save your time. That said you have the argument of- you don't see 'white people' trying to get 'black hair' but I feel this applies mostly to wigs... stay relaxed sweetie your hair seems luscious <3 don't let anyone pressure you in! I love my natural hair but sometimes..... the wahala is too much.

Charmaine Espeut: I love the afro look on you!

Favour Obodo: What product did you use to make it look so relaxed?

chisom ojukwu: Wow . Nice . I will definitely try it
