Elyse W: I will say I personally would have blow dried the clients hair or maybe even a hot comb just warm enough to straighten the hair but she did a phenomenal job. Honestly some think it looks tight but truth be told some ppls scalps are just sensitive and react differently. Me personally tension causes bumps on my scalp no matter how lose or tight the braids are. Plus her braids are showing a lot of scalp which makes it look worse than it is.

I have 3c, curly but shortish (past my neck but barely on my shoulders) hair most braiders blow dry my hair before they start to straighten my hair because my curls make my braids look old FAST. She did a great job but I wonder if blow drying would have lessened the tension.
