Hi, I'm Rena Breslin from brains bar president comm and today I'm going to talk about adding hair to cornrow extensions. Okay. So when you start to add cornrows for extensions, you want to be sure you have your hair sectioned off, which is what I've done here. I'Ve sectioned this side off because I'm not touching this side until after this entire side is cornrowed and then I've sectioned this side off. But these are important sections because they're going to keep the hair out of the way the excess hair out of the way. While your cornrow, the next thing you want to do after you've determined the size of your cornrow, is you want to take your hair and prep the hair for the cornrow? So that's what I'm about to show you right now now I have a pretty medium, a good medium sized piece of hair, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to pitch about a third of that hair off. Okay, I'm going to pull it completely off and I'm just going to lay it across and it's going to look like a tee once I lay it across I'm going to show you. I have three strands that have this strand this strand and this trend. The important thing to remember when you do this is that all three strands of your hair are even the reason. Why is because, when they're not even it will create lumps and bumps in your cornrow, and it will not come out looking nice and neat once you do that you want to come to your client just pinch, a small portion of hair from the middle of your Section you see, I have hair here no hair here. This is where you're going to start cornrowing you're, going to add that section to your middle section of hair and you're just going to proceed with the cornrow by pinching hair from within the part. Now sometimes this part can be a little challenging, but if you just practice it a couple times, it's a lot easier than you think now, when you pitch that from the top portion of the cornrow, that's what's going to keep your cornrow right on the part. I know we've all seen those cornrows where it's extension here at it, but it doesn't start way back here. That'S because of the way they've attached it when you take that little piece of hair from the middle, like I showed you, it's going to always keep that cornrow right at the tip where it should be and not sliding or slid back. So you just want to be sure to keep that in mind and you're just going to continue to pinch and grab hair from within the part until you get to the nape of the neck or two until you get to wherever you're going to stop at. And that's it so there you have it. You just want to be sure to keep your three strands of hair even throughout the entire cornrow and you'll be good to go. I always remember practice makes perfect. So again, I'm are quite a Breslin from braids bob resin. Calm. Thank you so much for watching and I'll talk with you soon.

B Johnson: Thank you for this tip. I decided to braid my own hair, because it's been shedding a bit and I also live in a hot and humid climate (Houston TX). So, this is an excellent time to put my hair away for awhile and let to relax. My hair is also natural. Thanks again, excellent tip.

Vida Glynn: Wow, I've watched soooo many videos trying to learn this. You did it so quickly & effortlessly. thank you, I can't wait to try this.

aabrooklyn192: Awesome! I finally got it. I have tried to add hair to my daughter hair but i alway looked lumpy and messy the nest day.  The way you demostrated the technique was so simple.  Thank you

LSabrina Anthony: They barely thought us how to braid in hair school. But I'm a visual learner and this video makes me feel really confident about braiding

Janee McDaniel: This is the best video on youtube. I taught myself to conrow but I've been having a hard time adding hair. I watched like 4 other videos and they did not help at all!!!!! Thank You!!!!!

Alice Nom Noms: awesome! you made it so simple. again, its taken a few videos to find one that wasn't confusing! so, thank you!

Mary Melgene Carillo: I love all your work! Please don't stop!

Shervon Wilson: Loved this makes it so simple

Shervon Wilson: Loved this makes it so simple

Destyni Cannon: Very informative, thankyou

Stephanie: you explained it so good i just wish i can corn row my own hair . i probly can its just the time in patience is what makes me not be able to do it.

Gwen Warren: wow this helped me a lot

Gianna Desdune: thank u so much!! such a help;)

BluButterfly19: This would have been a great video if the demonstrator did not have on black. I can see how the T was done because the hair and clothing are the same color.

Angela Birchett: I wish she would have slowed down and zoomed in on the moment she grabbed the starting center piece to start the braid. I’m not clear as you how the braiding hair is supposed to be lying in my fingers when I grab that center piece. That probably seems trivial but that’s the part that seems the most challenging!

Janet Ellis: This video would have been better had the hair used been a different color or if she didn't wear a black jacket. And zooming in closer would have helped but this is one of the better videos on braiding cornrow extensions.

Najmi Zainol: I got a mid long hair. Do u think im able to add on hair for this?

betty mayfield: thanks!

Linda Aboagye: I love your client

Cali z Classic: can't see you have on black that blends with the hair

Hislove43: Not a good video. She didn't tell you how to hold fingers or where to place hair. On to the next!

Yur'Superior Excellency UponHigh: Next time you should show the actual process instead of all the talking. We need to see how you place your hands. Where to part etc...

The Life of Leslie: Constructive

Monique Morrow: I'm.Training. Cornrows. Buy.DVD s.1St.And,Buy.Doll.Head.2,Nd.After. Christmas

It's me, Donna: So frustrating to watch. Why would you wear a black outfit and then hold the black hair in front of yourself? I couldn't see a thing!! Also, WHY is the section you are working on so SMALL? How is a person supposed to be able to see what you are doing? Terrible, terrible video for showing HOW to add extensions!! I'm befuddled that it was so awkward to watch!!

Unicornroblox blaze: i couldnt see because u was wearing black
