Wearing long boho braids for years. My hair was thick and long but my lawdt those edges tho my edges was a scheme set up by Todd to come to the weave ppl with the bullshit then stress ate the rest of it up so now 3 months post-chop and and 50 hair products later I'm trying to grow my edges in so my short cut will look nice. All the years of "quick-weaves" (which really means long term baldness) sew ins, perms, and presses my edges are gone. I have to be gentle with my hair because I've put it through years of damage and I'm seeing significant hair regrowth just in 90 days of leaving it dafuq alone! Our hair is special and needs special care. Take that 400 hunndid a bundle and invest in quality hair care products. I mean ppl calling it 'protective styling' but if you☝ bald what u protecting? Why not be ok showing your crown but the only way to be confident showing your true glory is to first love it and take care of it❤❤❤❤

Crow Rat: For goodness sake just braid your hair! I love making mirco braids all over my head. It takes me four days to braid them all but the result is amazing. Then I keep them in for about 5 months, take them out - buy more braiding hair that is longer because my hair grows a lot due to it being in a protective style and braid it again. Even when my hair is past my waist I will still braid it because braiding it not only looks awesome but it keeps my hair healthy!
