Protective Styling (Part 1): Pretty Ponytails Feat. Curly Hair Extensions

I prepare my hair the same for all of these styles on freshly co-wash door, washed hair, that's damp. I apply a leave-in conditioner choice, followed by an oil of choice and because the Phoenix Sun is so harsh and I'm blonde now I also add a heat protectant super important. Now I'm going to start forming my ponytail, I'm going to do a side part, but you can put it in the middle. You can have no part. It'S up to you just Park slick and formed a pony. You know what to do girl, so we want fabulous hair, but we also want protected hair. So I use an extra bit of leave-in conditioner on the ends. Braid it down all the way to the end and secure it with a rubber band. Now grab your weave. You can use whatever here you want curly straight wavy, I'm using a curly texture that makes my natural hair texture and I'm going to take a piece of the extensions and wrap it around my ponytail. This is going to have extra security. Then I flip it over and start to wrap the actual track around my ponytail pretty self-explanatory and when you get to the end, take that piece again and wrap it around use a bobby pin to secure it. If you need left - and you all done - keep right Dan, McQueen Mexican and again with the part move my part over cuz. Now I'm gon na do somewhat twist. I'M twisting my twists to the front you can do. I'M Harvey want part hub you want, but for this look I like them to the front, it looks a lot more textured and better and cute after I finished the first twice: I'm actually gon na go in and make another twist. It gives it more impact and I think it makes it a little less regular, dayglo schmegle. I get that, though my girl. She got money like nickimja right, the chicks at Casey, I'm in love, so that no see a light on after I'm finished with the twist. I'M gon na pull it all back in a ponytail and secure it right in the back of my head this time, I'm going to do it straight in the back versus a side ponytail, but I'm still going to braid it to the end now wrap those extensions Around it the same way we did on the first style yeah. I just look so realistic. Doesn'T it I think okay, so keep it one bundle or, if you're like me, you want a bigger better, it's always better when it's bigger right, so I'm actually gon na. Take my second bundle pack, depending on how boos your hair is you either calm, the pack of hair or a bundle here, I'm going to wrap that around the same way we did the first one taking that single curl of hair and wrapping it around for extra Security, I really don't need a bobby pin. I'M telling you like it's actually difficult to take this hair off, so you don't have to worry about swinging your hair. It'S going to stay on and some final touches, I'm just going to add some hair jewels strategically placed throughout the twist is totally optional, of course, but I think it looks funky cute and totally unique and that's it.
