How To: Color Hair Extensions Blue/Grey Ombre

Hello My Ninjas!

I am glad to show you how I color my hair extensions that I bought from VP Fashion. They are real remy human hair and I actually have a review on the extensions here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP0-yp...

I am happy with the results of coloring my hair and it blends really well with my hair!

Thank you VP Fashion for the extensions! These extensions are 20in, 160g in the color 613A. Use "sunispretty" as a coupon code for $10 off!

The color I used to dye it are: L'oreal Feria Cool Soft Black, Wella T18, Wella 050 Cooling Violet, Manic Panic Rockability Blue, Ion Purple. This may seem like a lot of products but trust me there are different mixes you can do depending on the colors you have or want to achieve.

Hello, a ninja's, this is sun, so today I'm going to show you how I tone and color my hair extensions to be this blue gray, ombre color! If you want to know how I achieved it then keep on watching. The first thing I do is tone the blonde so that it becomes this nice gray color to do that, I'm using well as t18 zero-five-zero, cooling, violet and 20 volume developer. I mix in four cap fulls of t 18 double the amount of developer, so 8 cap fulls. For me, I mix it up and then add three small cap fulls of zero-five-zero cooling violet. Then I went ahead and applied that to all the extensions and I applied it to the whole extension focusing on the ends, because the ends are going to show the gray. After that I wait about thirty minutes before washing it out. This is what the gray looks. Like in the sunlight, when it's all dried - and I don't know what I'm doing here next is time for the blue - I'm using conditioner manic, panics, rock ability, blue and also I'm using ions purple. You could use black at the same time for the roots, but I put the black in the third process, so I just left it aside for this process. I mix in a ton of conditioner some of the purple and some of the rock ability blue. I mix it to get my desired color. For me, darker is better so that it blends in well with my hair color. Also, don't worry that it looks very purple in the bowl. I swear. It turns out to be a nice blue color, and this is how I color my hair extensions to blend into my hair. So you don't really need like exact measurements of everything. If you happen to have blue die lying around, then that's perfect. You do you girl to color it. I first mark where i want my ready to start, and I paint the extension until that line. Then, when I reach that line, I fan out the color with my brush like this, so that it gives the blue a nice fade into the gray color, and I wait about thirty minutes before washing it out. Also, I color the blue at different lengths so that when I clip in the extension it will all look. Even since some extensions go on the top of my head and some go on the bottom for the black, I used to box dyes, Revlon's number ten black and I also used L'Oreal's cool soft black. I applied the Revlon black toward the roots and the cool soft black is more of a dark blue color that I applied a little after I applied the number 10 black. I hope that makes sense. I just faded both the colors into the blue and again. This is different depending on the extension, since they are placed in different parts of my head. This is what it turned out to be, and I am super happy about it. Of course it's not blended in, like perfectly since I have short hair. I really can't blend it and super like perfectly, but this is how it looks like when it's straightened. I haven't curled it yet so I don't know how it looks like curled and the color does match my hair, but it's still a little bit off. I don't know if you can see, but this is my hair, and this is the extensions and my hair is just a little bit darker than the extensions, especially this blue part, and the reason why I put that i made it gray underneath first well. Besides, I want my ends to be gray was because, if I put all of the gray throughout the extensions first, then when you dye it, you can't see any blonde. I'M trying to show you, I don't know if you can see through the blue and you can see a little bit of grey through the blue instead of blonde, because if you see blonde, it's a really because blonde is a warmer tone and my hair is a Cooler tone, so I want gray to be showing through instead of blonde so blends well into my hair and I'm in love with it. I love that this is the bottom. I love that fades into this gray, color that I made it. I saw this other YouTube girl. She the way she clipped it and she clipped it. She clipped a lot of extensions toward the front so that it would blend in well throughout the front. Also, don't forget to put some oils in your extensions. I just have this argan oil of Morocco and I use this on the ends of the extension so that they could be healthy. I have a code for a VP fashion. I will link that down below go check out their website. I love the extensions because they're very easy to manage. It makes my hair, I mean I look so much different with with longer hair. I haven't had long hair in such a long time and I've never had hair this color. So you can do many different hairstyles with this.
