What'S up you guys, it's ava with me studio, houston, texas, and i am back with another video so today i'll actually be doing. I guess it's kind of considered a half a half down, but i'm gon na actually leave the braids down in the front she's going to have some cornrows or feeding braids in the front, and i was going to do crochet. But i saw some curly hair that i like on the tracks, so i'm actually going to sew the hair in the back. I'M going to show you guys, the hair that i got. I feel like i haven't done any video on so long, but this is the hair that i got. It is a master mix, so it is human and synthetic. A human is synthetic mix. I'Ve used this hair for ponytails before so. This is my first time. Actually, no, i think, second time i'm sewing this in so it has three bundles in it, and this is about 22, before tax at the beauty supply, that's the brand shake and go yeah, and then this is the hair that i got for the front. It'S 18 inches. I think the regular length is like 24, so i thought this was actually going to be cost less, but this was 5.99 for the 18 inch because i usually pay that much for the 24 inches. But it just depends on what store you go to the products. I'Ll be using today, of course, is our brio butter, our brielle butter, that's sold exclusively at maintain studio. There we go our burrito butter, it's a 100 vegan, no chemicals or anything in it. That'S what it looks like when you have any packaging, but it's the same great products um it is edible. I don't recommend eating it, but yes, it's been eaten before so so it looks like yeah. I don't talk about my nails because i'm going to nail shop on tuesday so and also when i finish um i'll go over her scalp with our burrito honey, which is also sold exclusively at maintain studio. So this product is also vegan. No chemicals as well totally safe for the kids, so both of them can be um. No, this one no do not eat this, don't eat the other one either, but so i'm gon na go ahead and get right into the video. I hope you guys enjoy it. Let'S get started always stay up all night. Well, not really a half. I left a bigger section in the back because of the way i want the braids to actually fall, and that way the curls can have like a little bit more volume to the front like this. Instead of it being like all the way back here or something give it to me, give it to me all right, you guys i'm done um braiding the back, so this is what it looks like just in the middle right here i went ahead and um zigzagged. It make sure it's not too tight. It'S not too tight. Some people have loose skin. I don't know if you guys can see it, but right here it looks like her skin is pulling, but it's really not tight. Her mom's scalp is the same way um in certain spots, so i'm gon na take our brielle honey. Remember i applied the brielle butter before um. I started blow drying and everything like that. So now, i'm gon na use the honey to go ahead and coat her scalp, and this will help the honey helps to keep your follicles moisturized, whether you have locs braids swiss you're, wearing your wigs up on your wigs all that good stuff, and it has, of Course, the nozzle to make it so easy to go right in between the braids, just like that, we'll put some over here too, i'm just gon na coat her scalp, like that. I'M gon na put some up here because i'm still gon na put some after. I finish the braids in the front as well, but i just wanted to do this part first. I know her hair looks really thin right here. It'S not as thin as it looks on camera. What i was telling her was because her mom the style i was initially going to do - have some bigger braids in the front, but her mom requested. I do the braids just a little smaller because she scratches her hair. So she ends up pulling out her hair. In the front and she uses the brush to, you know, try to gel it down and put edge control, so i always tell the kids, especially the kids, you know who are obsessed with edge and baby hairs and all that type of stuff. You have to be very careful because you are actually brushing your hair out also in the front. It'S that way as well like that. So that's why it looks kind of finer or thinner in the front. So you guys just make sure you pay attention to that and just be careful just don't you know, there's nothing wrong with it. Just brushing it too hard will actually pull your hair strands out. So just just a heads up, so you guys know all right. So i'm going to go ahead and sew this down and i'm going to sew the back in first before i do the front, because i need the cornrows or the um, the feeding braids, as we call them today to lay flat. So i don't want to like braid them. I have to move them out the way because i'll create a hump. So i want everything to be flat and just you know lay really well just like that. So just wait. Let me drive you crazy. Baby wan na stay, let's get stupid, don't stop. This is my favorite part. Hold me like it's out of style. Imagination is running wild eternity is in your smiles, just wait. Let me draw you crazy, all right, you guys. I went ahead and finished this off camera. So i basically was um bringing the tracks up on the side, so it can fall and cover um the sides like that to kind of camouflage it since there's no leaves out she actually likes the bun. But that's not what we're doing she has to put her graduation cap on as well. So that's definitely not going to work. So this last piece that i sewed um, i actually sewed it in opposite direction, but i needed to come back with it. So i have my curling iron here, i'm just going to train it the little piece to come backwards, but when the braids lay on it, it's going to cover it up, but i just like to have, like you know, extra security just in case. So i just rub the curling iron, like that. I also do this when i have like when i do full sew ends with no leave out when i get to the top. I use the curling iron to smooth it out on top and that helps it to lay really flat. So if you guys have never tried that technique, you should try it out. It works wonders. Okay, so i'm gon na cut these little pieces off, so they won't. Stick out, they call them beards or something or they look how i call them the little hairs, the little strands that are on the opposite side of the track, and even when i do like regular sew-ins, if they're any sticking out, i normally cut them off all Right, so that's how i sew the back part in now, i'm going to go ahead and um do the braids in the front and go ahead and finish the style out. Let me show y'all, i wanted it full, but not too full. So i used the um 16 and 18 inches because the hair came in 16, 14, 16 and 18.. So i did the 16 inches on the bottom and 18 inches on top. So it can still be long and if i need to i'm gon na, go in and trim whatever i need to trim off, but actually the length is um. The length is actually not that long, it's not too bad, but um. I might trim some off. I don't know yet we'll see how it goes all right, you guys back on the camera. This is the finished product. Let'S spin her around i'm going to give you guys up close. Of course, i just want to show you guys real, quick. My battery is about to die, but i hope you guys enjoyed this video if you're new to the channel make sure you hit that subscribe button.
