How To Make Money Online - Beauty Edition

Hey and welcome to my channel, it's your girl, stormy styles of pink and natural hair company and on this channel I talk about beauty and how to grow your income as a beauty professional. So if you want to know more and how to make money online, then stay tuned. So today I'm going to show you six ways that you can make money online as a beauty, professional and no just kidding, tell everyone, but do it for yourself. First, okay! So, let's get right into it. The first way to make money online is through e-books. Yes, I said it: ebooks ebooks are a great way for you to share your skills and knowledge as a professional with others who are looking to learn how to expand as a cosmetology student as a work from home hair stylist, because we know they are very well Established just as well as a cosmetology, a licensed cosmetologist in a hair salon. So if you have knowledge on sew-ins hair extensions such as micro links, eye tips, tapings wig, making, you can turn that knowledge into an ebook and you can sell it right on Amazon, Etsy or sell it right on your own website. I personally sell my micro link. Weft ebook on my website and Etsy, because I believe that there is a limit on how much you can sell your ebooks for on Amazon. I don't remember exactly what it was because I had some issues with my cover, so I put it up and then I had to take it down and then I was going to put it back up again. But I sell my ebook for 199. and you learn two micro link with techniques, and so, if you want to learn Two microlink web techniques in person or in a one-on-one class, it's going to cost you every bit of about three thousand dollars. So why not put the muscle into your own hands and your brain and use the ebook and practice and learn all the steps that you need to become a micro link with master? And with that being said, the great thing about the e-book is that you always have it to go back to so number one. You save money right if you don't have three thousand dollars to learn how to do this technique that can take your career to the next level. You can spend 199 and you can still learn that technique and take your hit your hair career to the next level. So what do you think is going to be the best option? So if you are a hair, stylist or a beauty, professional such as a barber or esthetician, then take those skills that you learn, that you have eyelash extensions, put it into an e-book how to cut hair, how to do the master shape up how to do man. Wigs how to make lace wigs for women, all of that can go into an e-book, and people are looking to learn these things. A lot of people don't can't afford to come to an in-person class, and a lot of people are in other countries that may want to attend the class, but this is another option for them to learn. The number two way to earn money online is through low content books, so low content books are basically fancy notebooks that you can customize yourself I'll, give you an example. This is a hard copy Journal, but it's basically a low content book. There'S just lines in here. That'S it, you can use it to write whatever you want, you can use it to Doodle. You can sell these without the lines and just have it as a blank slate for people to use the way that they, like you, can sell it as graph paper. For those professionals that need to use graph paper in their work or in school, you can customize the book to look. However, you want you, can get it in a hard copy or you can get it in a soft copy. Now, where do you get these books printed? Amazon, Amazon has Amazon KDP, which is a print on demand service where you can upload your designs and people can purchase them and they can print and Amazon will print them for you, they'll ship them out and everything, and so they take their percentage. But you just add on what your profit is, that you want to receive after Amazon takes their percentage. I don't remember exactly how much it is, but it's not really that that big of a percentage that that they're getting especially for printing and shipping, you know that makes a really big difference when you're still coming back with a profit. So if you're selling your books for about maybe 5.99 or 9.99, or something like that, then if they're getting two dollars, you're still making three dollars just for doing a design that might have taken you about 30 minutes to make. And if you multiply that by a hundred, what do you get? I don't know I can't do math tonight because I'm a little tired, but my focus is doing this video for you, so I'll keep going all right. So the third way to make money online is through selling digital products. On Etsy. Etsy is a platform that I use to sell. My micro link, webs ebook, you can sell custom designs that you make people can print them out, put them in to their home as portraits or canvases to own canvas material where they can hang them in their room. If you are, you know really really Savvy. You know you can design t-shirts, you can design just about anything when people can purchase your prints and have them printed on demand. You know at their local print shop and that leaves no work up to you. They go and they purchase your print online. You get paid and they go have someone else printed out for them that you can also sell business templates that you use as a beauty professional. If you created your own spreadsheet, I created my own spreadsheet. That includes my personal business extra expenses. So therefore, I can see everything in one I don't like having two different spreadsheets, because then I have to jump to one and the other. I just like to see everything all in one. They all calculate in their individual columns and then at the end of the row. They all calculate everything together. So I know how much I'm spending in every single area of my life, personal and business-wise, and my extra applications that I use are also added. Not that they're needed. But I still like to know because, especially when you're getting a lot of applications in your downloading on Apple and Amazon, that can add up after a while. So I like to keep track. So I know exactly how much I'm spending and therefore how much wiggle room. I have throughout the month and when I need to pull back or move forward, because we all know as a beauty professional. Sometimes we have our slow days or we just have a lot of cancellations that are beyond our control or beyond our clients, control and so we're still left to pay those bills after a while. So this is why it's a great idea to make money in your sleep as a beauty professional. The number four way of making money online is through selling hair extensions. So I know what you're going to say: stormy: that's, not a passive way of making money. It'S not all the time, but it can be. You can sell hair extensions through a Drop Shipping option. I have about five different manufacturers that I purchased my hair from all four different types of hair, raw, Indian raw Chinese and premium virgin hair, and they all offer very good Drop Shipping because they are the manufacturer. They'Re, not a vendor. A vendor is a middle person that you purchase, hair from that has to purchase it from the manufacturer or from another vendor. So if you ever wonder why it takes so long to get your hair, that's usually the reason, so my manufacturers usually have uh three to five business day turn around because I get the fastest shipping when I'm Drop Shipping. I don't. I do not have a problem paying extra for it or they have a five to seven workday turnaround and a lot of times. It comes sooner because we are a day behind India and China, and so most of the time when the estimated date is um given to you, it usually comes the day before or sometimes two days before, so that works out in our favor. So much because we're able to get any hair extensions that we don't have in stock to our clients very very quickly, and unfortunately, we have a lot of clients who contact us at the last minute who need hair. Like the same day, we do have hair online. A lot of hair online, but a lot of times we don't know which texture they may need. So it's hard to keep all of those hair extensions in-house and it can be very expensive, so Drop Shipping is a great way to make some passive income and money online as a beauty, professional and so the fifth way to make money online is through teaching. Yes, I said it and it does sound more active than passive, but teaching can be a great passive income if you record your classes, so I teach wig, making micro links, tape, ins and suppress techniques. So all of these courses are taught on in in person right, except for my wig making class, which is now online class. But once I had the opportunity I'll go ahead and I'm going to record all of my courses because I don't have the time to teach on the weekends the way that I used to, and I really need to keep my weekends open for my family right now. I work on Saturdays, and so that really leaves one day or I have to take off from work. So if I can get all my courses recorded online and offer them for sale, then that will help out any individual who may not be able to afford an in-person class or who may not be able to attend an in-person class because they live in another country. And they're looking to learn these skills to expand where they are, but they are not able to do it because of some of those reasons, especially with everything that's going on in the world. You know a lot of people can't afford it. So one thing that I did as my way of giving back after all, the things that we have gone through with covet and the changes in life people you know going through the process of a recession and everything I am now offering my wig making class for Free on YouTube, so, if you're looking to learn how to make a lace, closure wig on a sewing machine, then go to my hair. Tutorials, playlist and you'll be able to see that course there and you can start it and do it on your own schedule. At your own pace, so teaching can be a very beneficial way of making money online. If you record your courses, you can upload your classes to platforms like teachable, kajabi and thinkfic, as well as you udemy. So these are four different platforms where you can sell your course to make some money online, and so my sixth and final way of making money online is put a drum roll. Please YouTube YouTube YouTube, YouTube! Youtube, YouTube, YouTube! You guessed it, but I told you so, but you still guessed it you're super smart. Yes, YouTube is a great way to make money online. Once you are monetized which you do need to have a thousand subscribers and four thousand watch hours of time. But if you go through the process and learn how to build your channel by doing the research and getting all the information you can, then it is definitely possible for you to get to the point of monetization. So you have about a year to achieve this goal. It took me about almost a year to become monetized on YouTube, so I just recently became monetized, so I can't tell you how much I'm making, because I don't know yet so I have to wait until I go through the process of my videos being viewed, but I do know people who are making money on YouTube and they're, making some good money. So as a beauty professional, there are so many people, as I stated before, that are looking to learn these new skills. So if you have a unique way of doing your suppressed hair, extensions or styling and cutting and color and everything, why not share that with the world? Because there are so many people out here that can view your videos and give you the views that you need to start making that, yes, you can make that money online. So you you have so many various options. You know: share some professionalism, share some coaching videos on how to be the best professional Beauty, professional that you can be how to enhance your skills, how to gain new clients. I mean I can go on forever, but I know that I use YouTube for different skills. Myself and I've been doing hair for over 25 years, but people have so many creative ways of the of how they do things and a lot of times me reviewing those videos, helped me execute them a lot faster or my clients may bring in a YouTube video That they saw - and they say do you know how to do this and I'm like no, but let me check out the video and a lot of times the hair stylist explains it or displays it so, well that I can pick it up in just about five Minutes so just imagine if you can share some of your knowledge with so many people out here that are looking to expand their skills as a beauty professional. They would really appreciate it and they would view your video give you the likes and subscribers that you need, and you can start making that Mula that move live, that move, move all right. So those are my six ways of how you can make money online.
