Wash Day Routine For Hair Extensions & Leave-Out

Hey guys! Welcome back to our channel! I wanted to share my easy wash day routine that I use whenever I have my hair in a sew-in. This video just shows my prep, wash, deep condition and air dry process...unfortunately I wasn't able to record the styling. But hopefully this video still helps with ways to maintain your natural leave-out. Oh, and I didn't mention in the video that I ONLY WASH AND APPLY HEAT TO MY HAIR ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS! Once I've styled my hair after wash day, I make it last until the next wash day. If you have any questions, leave them below and as always please rate, comment and subscribe. Thanks for watching guys!!

XO,

Kyra

Hey guys welcome back to our channel so similar to show you guys just my really quick and easy, not so much quick, but my really easy wash day routine for my hair extensions in my leave out whenever I have a soul win so here I am going To show you guys how much sleep I'll actually have, I do make it a point whenever I get a someone to really leave as little of my hair out as possible, and I only leave out the front edges, so I don't leave out anything in the back. So, to start off, I wash routine I'm going to the port start off by, of course, washing it. I wash my hair in the shower where it's typically and I just used two clarifying or moisturizing shampoos for this particular today I use the Giovanni tea tree shampoo, as well as the kinky curly cleaning shampoo. So I use both of those to really clean. My hair get rid of any build-up and kind of start as a nice foundation for my wash day routine. I didn't mention this earlier, but whenever I am in the shower shampooing my hair, I just really focused on shampooing the leave out. I don't spend too much time on my braids or on my scalp, because since my hair is braided up, I don't have to put too much energy into that part, so I will just focus on the leave out after I have shampooed my hair. I of course rinse it all out, and then I shall dry just with a child that I use from my hair and then I go ahead and detangle the extensions with a why to comb as well supply a very, very, very generous amount of the hello hydration Conditioner by Herbal Essence, and if you guys have watched my videos anytime, I mention hair, weave or extensions. I always always always mention this conditioner, because you guys this is hands-down the best conditioner that I have ever ever used for co-washing. My extensions, as you guys see here, I do condition my hair in two separate halves, so I just pretty much split my hair down the middle and conditioning you tangle it that way, except it makes it easier and is less secure to work with. So once I'm finish, applying the conditioner to the extensions I go ahead and move on to my leaves out, you can pick any conditioner of your choice, but here I'm using B my DNA deep conditioner actually got in a goodie bag, I'm an event that we attended And, oh my gosh, you guys this product is the bomb calm. As you can see, I am applying a very generous amount and, as I'm applying it, I kind of rake their product through my curls, just to make sure that every strand is going to be conditioned. As as needed, but I'm applying it all over the about area, so my part area and the edges - and I have said this product - you guys my curls, not the heat damaged part you guys put my curls you'll - see that they literally spring back in bounce back And just look phenomenal and speaking of heat damage. I'M sure you guys until that I do have some heat damage along my hairline and along the edges, and that's not because whenever I get a soin I do always leave my edges out. I typically rotate the parts from left to right, but I always leave the edges out, so I do have some heat damage there, which I will be cutting off eventually for the most part I wanted this. You know stick with it for now, so now that I've applied my deep conditioner or my conditioner to the extensions and my leave out, I will just be applying a little bit of heat with a blow-dryer. I put a plastic cap and then apply the heat when, if I'm just warms up the product and make sure that the conditioner and the conditioner is really doing its job - and I typically do this step for about five minutes. So once I've done plying heat to my hair with a blow-dryer I'll, take a warm or just a towel, any kind of towel and I'll wrap it around my head for about thirty minutes to an hour, and this kind of just helps again help that deep conditioner Set in and do its job using a towel or really help activate some heat on the hair, even though you're not seeing a dryer, it will take the natural heat from your hair in the Kwesi cap in the towel and really help work that decondition as well. So I let the deep conditioner on my hair for about an hour and then a wooden head and rinse it out, of course, how dried it and now I'm moving on to apply my leave-in to my natural hair now for Milan, even I'll, be using a leave-in Conditioner spray from cream of nature, as well as the a pochi Reconstructor Iser, and both of these is going to act as not only a leading dish nur, but also a heat, protectant and kind of makes your hair soft and healthy and strong and protects your hair From all the natural elements, as you can see here, I am applying a very generous amount of both leading conditioners and then detailing it with a Denman brush by the way guys. I don't think I mentioned this earlier, but please please, please excuse that really ugly ugly face that I'm making ever I'm doing my hair. I don't know why I'm doing it it's kind of like a squint, slash smile. I don't know it's so weird and it creeps me out and I didn't actually notice how I was doing guys that actually do that until watching this video. So please forgive that anymore. That'S you guys. So here I'm just flat twisting my leave out a flat twisting. It really helps with not only stretching the hair but also helps with air drying it as well. So it's kind of getting that hair out of the way. So that way, can air dry overnight and be prepared to style in the morning and see there's that horrible heat damage you guys. Fortunately, my hair is gotten long enough to a point to where I can really easily cover that up now onto the hair extensions. So this part is really really easy. You guys all I'm doing is just a tan line with a wide tooth comb parting it in half and then putting it up in a bun. That'S it's super easy, but putting up in the blunt to me is the easiest way to air dry, my hair, because I'll have to worry about the water dripping on me and all that stuff. I'M just spin it up um tied up in a bun and then just let it do its thing overnight by the way, if you do get, this message be prepared for a very wet pillow in the middle of the night. Of course, though, water or tube onto the pillow soak it all up and all that, but again, this is the easiest method that I found for air drying. So once that is all done, all I would do is just tie up my hair using a black satin scarf and we will be good to go guys. That'S pretty much. It um, I didn't say earlier, but I really do prefer to air dry. My hair, as opposed to using a blow dryer because it's less heat, less time, less energy and just by easier. So once you have completed your wash day routine, all you have to do with style, as you please thank you guys so much for watching, and we will see you in the next video
