What'S up y'all, it's pay cheyenne! Welcome back to my channel if you're new, definitely press that subscribe button. Everybody leave a comment like this video share. This video do whatever you got to do with this video, but continue to definitely take this youtube journey with me y'all. So today we are doing a takedown service on my client. She has had this sew in in for um a good two months, actually um, so yeah we're going to go ahead. Take this down we're going to give her a good cleanse, a good um, wash deep condition and give her silk press with a nice trim and a style. So this was like perfect opportunity guys and i'm sorry that it's like later in the takedown, but i realized that i should be recording. So that's why it's a little bit late. One thing i do want to mention is you will see flakes in her hair. She did explain to me that she cleaned it, but everyone's hair is different right. Some people gather more debris than others and some people don't which is okay, but it is to be expected to have some debris flakes things like that when you have an install. So please do not come for her in the comments, as you can also see, these tracks are definitely intact. When i sew, i sew, and i make sure it is not going anywhere so although her braids are loose and she has a lot of new growth, the tracks honestly are still intact and still good to go. As you can see, i did use the flip method. So i'm going to use my scissors to basically cut that out and then, when she takes this home, it's going to be very easy for her to wash the weft itself wash the bundles and then we will install it again. This is actually one of my college students. She is a freshman going to college, so we are putting her on a good routine. This was her first sew-in, so we're going to take her down, give her a trim, we're going to put this so she's, giving her hair a break right now, so she's wearing her natural hair a good month and a half it's going to be out and then We'Re going to put it back in when she goes to school by the time she goes to school. They'Ll come home for, like thanksgiving break um, we'll take down her sew-in, give her another good maintenance and then before she goes back again, um we'll put it back in. So it's good to have a good routine guys. Make sure that you get your trims, make sure you're still taking care of your natural hair? Make sure that you are someone just text me. Sorry y'all make sure that you're, you know maintaining your hair like you should be so i'm going to let this video ride out and i'll talk to you guys soon, ryan little as a stylist, i do charge for a takedown service. A takedown service is not something that happens in 10 minutes, probably not even 15.. A proper takedown service at least takes me a good 45 minutes to an hour. It depends on how many, how small her braids are, how much hair she has, because the braids are so small how many bundles they have in their head, like sometimes some of my clients only get two bundles because they have more natural hair out, or some of My clients have less hair out, and sometimes they want me to get in for bundles. It takes time to take these things out and not only that, because it's so intact, and i not every other, i tell my clients - listen i'll, take it down, for you at least, have someone take it down for you, so you're not cutting your hair but stylists Charge for a takedown service, it's a duration of time. It is a service that you are providing for them, and you know time is money, so it's only right that you charge for it. So we just finished taking down the bundles. Now you saw, i was probably searching for her tail piece which i found it um. I always put a rubber band at my tailpiece and then i start taking it down. This is probably the most important part when you're taking down a sew-in taking down their braids, is really making sure that you're detangling after every single braid so really get that debris and those flakes up, because it's going to make your wash a lot easier. When it's time to take them back to the bowl ryan little one other thing i forgot to mention is: when you are detangling, it is normal and it is common for your client to lose a certain amount of strands. We'Re supposed to lose a certain amount of strands a day um, but because their hair is braided up and because it is sewn in they don't it doesn't. Hair doesn't have the opportunity to do that. So do not be surprised if, when you're combing through that you're losing um hair as long as it's not like chunks and clumps of hair, it's normal. So i went ahead finished off this side and then i completed the other side. Um made sure everything was really detangled. Then i took her back to the bowl. The next clip you'll see is me actually starting to blow dry. I did not record the wash routine um if you happen to need a good wash routine. I actually have a video and i'll leave the link in this video or in the description box below ryan little so ryan little. So i hope you guys enjoyed this service. Don'T forget to comment. Definitely like the video. If you enjoyed the video subscribe to my channel and i'll, see you guys in the next one, you
